Chapter 369 His Stamina Overwhelms Her
Sylvie said sternly, "Stop fooling around. Liora and Isaac have similar personalities; they are more suitable for each other."
Amara pouted, "Having similar personalities doesn't mean they're suitable. Complementary personalities are what make a good match!"
"Look at you and Daxton. Aren't your personalities completely different?"
"If Daxton had a personality like yours, Mom, could he have tolerated you for so many years?"
Liora and Amara were not Daxton's daughters. When he married into the family, Sylvie already had these two daughters.
Because they were already quite grown when he came, they couldn't change how they addressed him, so they always called him Daxton.
"You..." Sylvie was furious but couldn't refute Amara's remarks.
Amara curled her lips and said softly, "Mom, I won't make things difficult for you. How about you let Liora and me both date Isaac? We'll compete fairly, and Isaac can marry whoever he likes.. What do you think?"
Sylvie's face turned dark.
She wanted to control Isaac, but Liora and Amara were fighting over him. Would things gradually get out of control?
Liora said, "I accept the challenge. No matter the result, don't cause trouble then."
Amara snorted, "Do you think you'll definitely win? I should be the one warning you. I hope you, who always wants to win, can accept failure gracefully and not cause trouble then!"
Liora said coldly, "I'm not like you, causing trouble without reason."
Since they were both willing to compete fairly, Sylvie had no choice but to let them.
Sylvie said, "I'll talk to him the next time he comes over."
Aridonia.
Soren had been in the hospital for three days. When she could get out of bed, Isaac planned to send her and Magnus away together.
Future treatments would be handled by Rhys at their place.
Nora suggested, "Soren's injuries haven't fully healed, and she was just rescued not long ago. I'm worried that if we separate now, she might be scared. I plan to stay with them for a while."
She had signed an agreement with Isaac and even sworn with Magnus and Soren.
She had sworn that without his consent, she could never leave him.
So now, she could only discuss it with him.
She thought Isaac wouldn't agree.
Unexpectedly, Isaac only hesitated for a few seconds before readily agreeing.
"Alright, the place I chose is in Aridonia, not far from home. I'll visit you when I have time. It's good for you to stay with them for a while," Isaac said.
The matters with the Hansen family weren't over yet, so it was good for Nora to leave for a while.
This way, he wouldn't have to worry about Nora finding out when he dated Sylvie's daughters.
He suddenly felt a bit guilty.
It felt like he was plotting an affair.
Even though he was forced into this to save their son, he still felt very guilty.
"You agreed?" Nora looked at Isaac in surprise.
Isaac smiled, "Soren is still injured. If I don't let you stay with her, I'm afraid you'll hate me."
He lowered his head and kissed her cheek, his deep voice whispering seductively in her ear, "We're about to be apart. You should reward me well tonight."
Nora's face heated up, and she pinched his waist.
Unfortunately, his waist was all firm muscle, and she couldn't pinch any flesh.
Isaac chuckled, "Don't rush. You can touch all you want tonight."
Nora's face turned red, and she glared at him, "Can you be serious?"
Isaac said nonchalantly, "I've never been a serious person. You know that."
Nora was silent.
Isaac gently bit her earlobe and said seductively, "I have to go to the office. See you tonight."
Nora's face turned red instantly, and she punched him lightly.
Isaac chuckled, his chest vibrating slightly, and his breath brushed against her, making her heart race.
Isaac was truly charming, always exuding allure effortlessly.
"I'm leaving."
He ruffled Nora's hair and reluctantly turned to leave.
Nora watched his back and whispered, "Goodbye."
Not long after Isaac left, Nora went home to arrange for the servants to pack things for Magnus and Soren.
Many things could be taken with them, so there was no need to buy new ones.
As night fell, Nora's mood became unsettled, thinking about Isaac's suggestive words before he left.
But at dinner time, Isaac didn't come back.
He called to say something came up at the office, and he couldn't come back for now, telling her not to wait for him.
Nora ate alone, feeling a bit disappointed for some reason.
At night, Nora waited until eleven, but Isaac still hadn't returned.
Her restless mood cooled.
It seemed Isaac wouldn't be coming back tonight.
She had been anxious all day for nothing.
Nora let out a soft sigh, relaxed her body, and quickly fell asleep.
In her half-asleep state, she suddenly felt a weight on her body and something entering her.
Nora groaned, her consciousness quickly awakening.
She opened her eyes abruptly.
"Awake? If you're tired, you can keep sleeping. You don't need to move."
In the darkness, Nora couldn't see the person's face, but his deep, magnetic voice instantly confirmed his identity.
"Isaac, you bastard."
As soon as she opened her mouth, a low moan escaped, and she bit him in embarrassment and anger.
He hadn't even woken her up and just...
He was too bad!
Isaac chuckled, kissing her lips, his hoarse voice whispering against her mouth, "I told you."
Nora wanted to say something, but he silenced her with a kiss.
Nora's hands gripped his back, leaving marks.
She tried to control herself.
But he knew her sensitive spots so well.
Under his assault, her rationality crumbled, and she completely succumbed to his skilled techniques.
A night of madness.
The next day, Nora was exhausted, not wanting to move a finger.
Isaac, however, was full of energy, unaffected, which made her quite resentful.
"Why do you look not tired at all? Didn't you exert more effort? Why am I the one tired, and you're not affected at all?"
Isaac not only wasn't affected but seemed more energetic, like he was on a high.
This didn't align with the law of conservation of energy.
Isaac raised an eyebrow and teased, "Because I didn't use my full strength, so I'm not affected."
Nora's eyes widened. He hadn't used his full strength? How terrifying would it be if he did?
Isaac's lips curled into a lazy smile as he walked to the bed, leaning over her, and said with a smirk, "Do you want to see what it's like when I use my full strength?"
