Chapter 510 She Knew It Was Wrong, But She Would Still Dare Next Time!
Isaac returned home as quickly as possible.
Soren was obediently waiting in the living room, sitting on the sofa and swinging her little feet.
Magnus was not on the first floor.
"Daddy, why are you back?" Soren asked in surprise when she saw Isaac. "I told Mark not to contact you, so why did Mark still call you back?"
Isaac walked up to her and chuckled, "You came all the way to find me, how could I not come back?"
Soren pouted. She wanted to say that she wasn't here to find him, but to look for the child.
Unfortunately, she couldn't find the answer before Mark brought her down.
Hopefully, Magnus would be more useful and find that person!
"Let's go, I'll take you home." Isaac picked her up and started walking out.
On the way to take her home, he would discuss with her not to tell Nora about what she saw and heard here.
"Daddy, Magnus is still upstairs. Aren't you going to take Magnus home too?" Soren asked in confusion.
Earlier, she and Magnus were so close, Mark must have seen Magnus too. She didn't understand why Mark only brought her down and not Magnus.
But she knew that since Mark knew Magnus was here and called Isaac back, Mark must have also told Isaac that Magnus was here.
So she wasn't afraid to mention Magnus in front of Isaac.
"Daddy, Magnus is most afraid of being left behind. You have to take Magnus with us, don't let Magnus go home alone," Soren said seriously.
Isaac stopped and asked, "Who did you say is upstairs?"
Soren said, "Magnus."
Isaac looked at Soren.
Soren said in a sweet childlike voice, "Magnus must have missed Daddy just like I did, so he secretly came to find Daddy. Magnus and I are really in sync."
Isaac understood now. Soren thought the Magnus upstairs was the same Magnus who had always been with her.
However, he still needed to confirm further.
Isaac asked, "Which Magnus are you talking about?"
Soren blinked and looked at Isaac strangely, "Daddy, what are you asking? I only know one Magnus. Who else could it be? Of course, it's my twin brother Magnus who has always lived with me!"
Isaac was now certain. Soren was too young and her brain wasn't developed enough. Even if she saw someone who looked exactly like Magnus here, she would only think it was the Magnus who had always lived with her and wouldn't realize they were two different people.
"Daddy, are you getting senile? You don't even remember Magnus?" Soren looked at Isaac with a worried expression.
Isaac's mouth twitched.
At his age, he was far from senility.
Isaac chuckled and tapped Soren's head, "Don't talk nonsense. I'm not senile, just a bit confused from being too busy with work."
"Oh." Soren nodded, "Then let's go get Magnus!"
Isaac said, "Just follow me. I'll have someone send Magnus back."
"But..." Soren frowned.
"No buts, just listen to me," Isaac said domineeringly.
He carried Soren out of the villa.
After getting out of the villa and into the car, he seriously said to Soren, "Soren, I need you to promise me something."
"What is it?" Soren asked curiously.
Isaac said, "Promise me first."
Soren frowned.
Nora had once told her and Magnus that when someone made a request, they should wait until the person finished stating the request before deciding whether to agree.
If the request would make them unhappy, they shouldn't agree.
Now her daddy was asking her to promise first.
Soren thought seriously for a moment and decided that her daddy wouldn't make things difficult for her, so she nodded and agreed, "Okay, I promise, Daddy. Now tell me!"
"Let's pinky swear." Isaac still didn't say directly but asked for further assurance.
Soren extended her little finger.
Isaac smiled and hooked his finger with hers.
Even though he was deceiving Soren, he still seriously taught her, "In the future, don't make promises like this to others, understand? If you encounter a bad person and agree to their excessive or harmful requests, what will you do?"
Soren said, "I know. Mommy taught me, but you're my daddy. I know you won't hurt me, so I promised you!"
Isaac was a bit moved and said, "It's good that you understand."
Soren blinked and asked curiously, "So, Daddy, what is your request?"
Isaac cleared his throat and said, "Don't tell anyone that you saw Magnus here. Not even Magnus himself. Just forget that you saw Magnus here. Even when talking to him, don't mention that you saw him here."
Soren looked puzzled, "Why?"
She could barely understand not telling others.
But why couldn't she even tell Magnus himself?
She had wanted to discuss with Magnus whether he found the answer.
If she couldn't mention it, how could she ask?
Also, she wanted to ask why Magnus didn't talk or pay attention to her here.
Thinking about Magnus ignoring her still made her feel very wronged.
Isaac said, "Don't worry about why. Just don't mention it to anyone. Can you do that?"
Soren looked troubled. She couldn't do it. She wanted to discuss it with Magnus.
Isaac said, "You promised me just now, and we pinky swore. After a pinky swear, you can't go back on your word, or you'll be an untrustworthy and dishonest child."
Soren immediately got anxious and said, "I'm a trustworthy and honest child!"
Isaac smiled, "So, can you do it?"
Soren nodded vigorously, "I can do it!"
Isaac asked, "What can you do?"
Soren said, "Not mention to anyone that I saw Magnus at Daddy's house. Even if Magnus himself brings it up, I won't respond!"
Isaac affectionately patted her little head, "You're so good, my dear daughter."
Soren beamed with joy, swinging her little feet happily.
Isaac asked, "Do you want to go to school or go home?"
Soren thought for a moment and said, "I don't want to go to school today. I'll go tomorrow."
"Okay, I'll take you home." Isaac got back into the driver's seat, buckled his seatbelt, and seriously said, "Mark said the traffic police brought you here again today. Did you sneak out alone again? Don't do that anymore, it's very dangerous."
Soren obediently nodded, "Okay!"
She knew it was wrong, but she would still dare next time!
Isaac stepped on the gas and drove away.
When he brought Soren back to Nora's place, he found that Nora wasn't home.
