Chapter 365 We Are a Perfect Match
Before the DNA test, Isaac had already suspected that there were two Magnuses, and both were his children.
Because they looked so much like him.
Moreover, the two Magnuses looked exactly the same, it couldn't just be a coincidence.
Even though Nora swore that she only had two children, Magnus and Soren, he would rather believe that Nora was mistaken than doubt what he saw with his own eyes.
Now, the paternity test results were out, proving Isaac's suspicions.
Isaac was so excited that he couldn't calm down.
Nora had secretly given birth to two of his children... no, three!
He was a father!
He had children!
And not just one, but three!
Isaac couldn't help but smile.
But when he thought about Soren being injured and one of his sons being held hostage, Isaac's heart sank.
Rhys, like a ghost, leaned close to Isaac's ear and whispered, "Isaac, be honest, when did you have illegitimate children with someone else? And two at once?"
Rhys had never seen Magnus's face, and Isaac hadn't told him that Magnus was his son, so Rhys didn't know that the children Nora had were Isaac's.
Isaac had once told him that the two children Nora had were Mortimer's, and Rhys hadn't doubted it at all.
Therefore, Rhys still thought that Magnus and Soren were Nora and Mortimer's children, and he had no idea that the samples Isaac brought included one from Magnus and another from a child who looked exactly like Magnus.
Rhys just thought that Isaac had found someone else and had illegitimate children.
Rhys looked serious, "Does Nora know about this? No, she definitely doesn't, otherwise, she wouldn't be with you. Even if you forced her to stay, she wouldn't be so nice to you."
"Did you secretly find a woman and have illegitimate children out of spite after you found out about Nora and Mortimer?"
The more Rhys spoke, the more he felt he was right.
"Shut your mouth and stop guessing." Isaac interrupted Rhys unhappily.
But before the matter was resolved, Isaac didn't plan to tell Rhys the truth.
The fewer people who knew the truth, the better it was for the situation; he didn’t want it to become widely known.
Rhys sighed, "Although I'm shocked that you have illegitimate children, I can see your feelings for Nora. I thought you wouldn't accept any other woman in your life besides Nora, but you secretly found someone else."
"But this makes you and Nora even. Nora had two children with someone else, and you had two children with someone else. It's a tie, neither of you can say anything."
Isaac was speechless.
Rhys asked, "When do you plan to bring your two children back? How will you tell Nora about this?"
Isaac coldly replied, "That's none of your business. Just take care of Soren."
"Don't let this get out. If you let a third person know, I'll skin you alive."
Rhys felt aggrieved, his curiosity unsatisfied.
But Isaac didn't care about his feelings at all. He directly put the three paternity test reports into the shredder and then left the office.
"We've been friends for so many years, and you still keep secrets from me, not even satisfying my curiosity!"
"I really want to know who the woman you found is, and where you hid those two children, hiding them so well without a trace!"
Rhys pulled his hair, feeling tormented.
If it were someone else's gossip, Rhys wouldn't be interested at all.
But he really wanted to know about Isaac's gossip.
Unfortunately, Isaac was tight-lipped. If he didn't want to talk, no one could get a word out of him.
Isaac went to Soren's ward.
The anesthesia had worn off, and Soren was awake. There were a few of her favorite toys on the bed, probably brought from home by someone at Nora's request.
Nora sat beside her, watching Soren change her Barbie doll's clothes with a gentle expression.
He pushed the door open and walked in.
Nora immediately turned to look at him, but Soren didn't react, focused on changing her Barbie doll's clothes.
When Rhys walked to the bedside, his tall figure cast a shadow over her, and Soren looked up and gave him a sweet smile.
Isaac's heart softened, and he couldn't help but lean down and kiss her cheek.
Soren immediately lifted her head and returned the kiss.
Isaac chuckled and ruffled her hair, "Keep playing."
Soren understood his lip movements and continued to play with her Barbie doll.
Isaac looked at Nora, "You've been here for a long time, you must be tired. You can go for a walk, I'll stay here."
Nora shook her head and said coldly, "I'm not tired. I feel better watching over Soren myself. You don't need to stay here, go take care of your own business."
Isaac could tell she was still angry, and he sighed silently.
He sat down next to Nora, and they both watched Soren play in silence.
Soren soon dressed a long-haired Barbie doll in a wedding dress.
Then, she picked up a male doll and dressed him in a suit.
She then proudly handed the two dolls to Nora and Isaac.
Nora froze.
She couldn't help but glance at Isaac beside her.
Isaac happened to be looking at her too.
Their eyes met, and it seemed to spark an invisible current.
Nora quickly looked away, her eyes complicated as she looked at the dolls in Soren's hands.
Did Soren want her and Isaac to get married?
Why did Soren like Isaac so much?
Isaac was so irresponsible, so careless, letting her get kidnapped and suffer so much, why didn't she blame Isaac?
Nora clenched her fists.
She felt dark inside, actually wanting Soren to blame Isaac...
While she was lost in thought, Isaac had already taken the dolls from Soren.
He brought the two dolls together and chuckled, "Look, such a perfect match!"
"Who matches with you?" Nora couldn't help but retort.
Isaac laughed, "I meant the two dolls match well."
Nora was silent.
Isaac teased, "You didn't think I meant us, did you?"
Nora bit her lip and said nothing.
Isaac said, "We're not like these dolls, we're even a better match."
Nora's mouth twitched, "You got a lot of nerve."
Isaac raised an eyebrow, "You've touched and kissed me. Shouldn't you already know how bold I am?"
Nora was speechless.
Isaac pinched her cheek and said softly, "Alright, don't be mad. Can't you see that Soren is trying to make us happy by giving us these dolls?"
"Soren may be young, but she understands adult emotions."
"Soren's health isn't good, and she just went through a traumatic experience. She doesn't want us to fight and make her feel like she doesn't have a home, so she's trying to cheer us up."
"Don't let Soren down. Be happy, or at least pretend to be happy in front of her."
