Chapter 117 Infidelity Video, Nora Gets Hit
Somebody gasped, "My goodness, how could such a video be released?"
Someone pointed out, "Look, isn't the woman in the video Sophia?"
One claimed, "It's her! Although the lighting is dim, Sophia has distinctive features, easy to recognize, no mistake!"
Somebody questioned, "Who is the man with whom Sophia is being unfaithful? His height and physique look completely different from Cole's. Is Sophia cheating on Cole with another man?"
Someone sneered, "A woman of loose morals, how could she do such a thing?"
One accused, "Whore!"
Another added, "Shameless, disgusting!"
The guests were first shocked, then began to discuss, pointing fingers at the video and Sophia.
In the end, they angrily insulted and berated Sophia, as if they were the ones being humiliated.
Especially the men.
Their empathy towards the same sex was always strong.
Various insulting words were unabashedly used on Sophia.
Sophia looked at the big screen in shock, her mind blank, a chill running through her body. She didn't know what this video was about.
Even less did she know how the content in the video came about. She had never betrayed Cole.

They were Cole's parents.
They rushed to Sophia, furiously kicking and slapping her.
Verna grabbed Sophia's hair, repeatedly slapping her.
Verna berated, "You little slut, how dare you make a fool of my Cole, I'll kill you!"
Cedric accused, "The bastard in your belly is definitely not Cole's, but you used the child to force Cole to marry you, how despicable!"
Cole's parents scolded, "A woman like you is not worthy of Cole! You'll never marry Cole in your life!
"Stay away from Cole in the future, or I'll hit you every time I see you!
"You dirty whore, don't tarnish Cole's reputation!"
Cole's parents beat and scolded Sophia.
Sophia was defenseless against the beating.
Her face swelled, blood streaks on her lips and nose.
Her wedding dress was also torn apart.

But she kept crying out "I'm innocent".
She had never betrayed Cole. But no one believed her.
When Nora snapped out of her shock, she saw Sophia being beaten by Cole's parents on the ground.
She was startled and immediately rushed to the stage, picked up an unopened bottle of red wine, and hurried back up.
Without hesitation, she raised the bottle of red wine in her hand and smashed it hard on Cedric's head.
The wine bottle shattered, and red liquid mixed with blood drenched Cedric.
Cedric let out a miserable cry.
He finally stopped beating Sophia.
Verna called out to him, frantically, "Cedric!"
Seeing Cedric being hit, Verna's face changed drastically. She also stopped the beating and hurried to check Cedric's injuries.
Nora took the opportunity to pull Sophia to her side.
"Nora, I didn't do it!" Sophia's face turned pale, trembling all over, looking at Nora helplessly as she denied it.
Nora patted her shoulder and said in a deep voice, "I believe you, don't be afraid, I won't let anyone harm you."
Sophia bit her lip tightly, tears streaming uncontrollably.
At that moment, Cole saw his father being hit, glaring at Nora in anger, "Nora, how dare you hit Cedric!"
"They were the ones who started beating Sophia first," Nora said coldly.
Cole said, "She deserves it!"
Nora continued, "Sophia is not that kind of person. You didn't investigate the authenticity of the video, nor did you ask for reasons, you directly accused Sophia, which makes me suspect, is this your doing!"
Cole's pupils contracted, a hint of guilt flashed in his eyes.
Nora went on, "Your reaction is not like that of a normal person who discovers their partner's betrayal.
"You rushed to convict Sophia without investigating the truth of the video, without a shred of trust in your partner!
"Your reaction makes me suspect, is this video related to you!"
Cole became agitated, and angrily said, "Don't slander me!"
Nora said, "Whether I slander you or not, I will investigate. If it proves that this has nothing to do with you, I will apologize to you."
She added, "But if I find out that this is related to you, if you dare to plot against Sophia, I won't let you off!"
Even if she couldn't punish him legally, she would kill him before she died, avenging Sophia!
Perhaps Nora's eyes were filled with murderous intent, making Cole break out in a cold sweat.
But soon, anger covered his guilt.

Nora didn't know how the fight started.
Countless punches and kicks came at her in a chaotic manner.
She couldn't resist, so she could only hold Sophia, protecting her in her arms.

She didn't know who kicked her in the stomach.

Nora turned pale with pain, cold sweat covering her face, trembling all over.
