Chapter 374 Isaac is Dating Other Women
Isaac quickly dodged and looked coldly at Amara.
"Ms. Hansen, please behave yourself."
Amara pouted in disappointment and said coquettishly, "We're dating as a couple now. What's wrong with being a little intimate?"
Isaac ignored her and got into the car.
Wesley was driving, and Isaac took the passenger seat, not wanting to sit in the back with Amara.
Amara noticed this and sat in the back seat with a displeased look on her face.
Although she wasn't a top-tier beauty, she was cute and charming, and she had always had many admirers.
In the past, men would always flatter and pamper her.
Now, she had taken the initiative for once, but Isaac showed such disdain for her, completely disregarding her feelings!
She didn't even mind that he had a child, so why was he so arrogant, acting as if he was superior?
Amara bit her lip and secretly vowed that once Isaac married into the Hansen family, she would make sure to torment him.
As a girl from the Hansen family, she wasn't someone to be trifled with!
But for now, she still needed to win Isaac over.
She couldn't lose to Liora!
The car stopped in front of a restaurant.
Isaac got out of the car.
Amara quickly got out too, walking in her high heels to Isaac's side.
Although Isaac didn't let her touch him, she deliberately stayed very close, so close that their clothes were touching.
As they walked into the restaurant together, someone in a nearby car took a few photos of them with a phone.
Mortimer looked at the photos in his hand and smirked.
He had arranged to meet a client at the hotel next door and unexpectedly saw Isaac with another woman at a couple's restaurant.
The photos were well taken; from this angle, it looked like the woman was practically glued to Isaac.
And Isaac didn't push her away, implicitly allowing her behavior.
Mortimer sent the photos to Nora without hesitation.
He added a message: [Nora, are you and Isaac having issues? I saw him at a couple's restaurant with a strange woman. They looked very close.]
[But maybe I'm mistaken. Don't overthink it; they might just be friends.]
After sending the message, he got out of the car and walked into the hotel next door.
At that moment, in the resort.
Nora was just about to have dinner with the kids.
Her phone suddenly chimed.
She took it out and saw a message from Mortimer.
She opened it to check.
When she saw the photos, her face instantly changed, and her hand started trembling uncontrollably, her heart tightening.
In the photos, Isaac was walking into a restaurant with a woman she didn't recognize.
She had been to that restaurant with Isaac before; it was a couple's restaurant.
The woman was very close to Isaac, practically touching him.
Isaac was just looking ahead, not avoiding her at all.
Anyone who saw these photos wouldn't think they were innocent.
A man and a woman going to a couple's restaurant together already said a lot, and with these photos, it was hard not to overthink.
Just friends?
Isaac didn't have female friends.
Even if he did, he wouldn't allow a female friend to get that close to him.
Nora's face changed, her emotions in turmoil.
Did Isaac agree to let her and Magnus and Soren stay at the resort just to get her out of the way so he could date someone else?
And lately, Isaac had been contacting her less and less.
Whenever they did talk, she always felt he was preoccupied, distracted.
Was he spending all his time with that woman after she left, so he couldn't be bothered with her?
Once this thought emerged, it spiraled uncontrollably in her mind.
Nora gripped her phone tightly.
After a moment of hesitation, she decided to call Isaac directly.
The phone rang for a while before he picked up.
It was quiet on the other end, with the faint sound of a beautiful piano melody.
She had heard that piano piece before; it was the same one the pianist played when she and Isaac went to that couple's restaurant.
Isaac was indeed at that restaurant. Mortimer's photos were real, not fabricated to deceive her.
Nora's heart suddenly felt like it was being pricked, a sharp pain spreading.
"What's up?"
Isaac's deep voice came through the phone, interrupting Nora's thoughts.
His voice was somewhat distant, not even calling her by name, as if he was deliberately avoiding any hint of their relationship.
Nora clenched her fist and asked in a low voice, "Where are you right now?"
Isaac paused for a few seconds before saying, "I'm having dinner with a client, discussing some business."
Nora's heart sank a bit more.
He was lying.
What kind of business would he discuss at a couple's restaurant?
"Isaac, let me pour you a drink. Let's have a couple of drinks together."
A playful woman's voice came from the other end.
Isaac lowered his voice and said, "It's not appropriate to be on the phone in front of a client. I'll call you back later."
With that, he hung up the phone.
Nora's hand fell limply, all her strength drained, and her phone dropped to the floor.
She really couldn't outplay Isaac.
She thought she could see through him, believed everything he said was true, believed he loved her deeply and always would.
But in the end, it was just another act of revenge.
Why didn't she learn her lesson?
Why did she trust Isaac?
Where did she get the confidence to think that after he believed she had cheated on him and had two children with someone else, he would still love her and be unable to live without her?
Who was Isaac?
The heir to the most prestigious family in Horizonia, wealthy, handsome, and incredibly distinguished.
How could he willingly accept a woman he believed had cheated on him?
She should have known that his kindness was just another carefully planned act of revenge.
How did she fall for it again?
"Mommy, what's wrong? Why did your phone fall?"
Magnus ran over, picked up the phone, and looked at her in confusion.
Nora shook her head and forced a weak smile, "I'm fine, just a little dizzy. I need to rest for a bit."
She took the phone and patted Magnus's head, "I'm not feeling well, so I won't be having dinner tonight. You and Soren eat without me. I'm going to rest in my room."
Magnus nodded obediently, "Okay, Mommy, you should go rest."
Nora turned and went back to her room, collapsing weakly onto the bed.
