Chapter 80 Childish Isaac

Edmund was furious. He launched a barrage of furious insults at Steve.

But that wasn't enough for him. He even lifted his cane and menacingly approached, unceremoniously striking Steve with it.

Edmund was livid. And he struck with great force.

Steve groaned in pain but dared not resist or say a word.

He was afraid that speaking up would only make his grandfather angrier.

"Grandfather, please stop... He is my boyfriend, not a cheater." Nora reacted quickly and rushed to intervene.

She stood in front of Steve, forcing Edmund to lower his cane, afraid of hurting Nora.

"Nora, do you really want to break up with Isaac and be with this man?" Edmund asked.

"Where does he compare to Isaac?"

"He doesn't look as handsome as Isaac, his figure isn't as good, his temperament falls short of Isaac, and he definitely doesn't have as much money as Isaac!"

"Why are you so confused, choosing this over Isaac?"

Edmund felt pain and regret, wishing he could just tie Nora and Isaac together to prevent them from separating.

Steve forced a smile and his lips twitched.

Although his disguised appearance couldn't match his true appearance. But his figure and temperament were similar enough. Why did they suddenly become so inferior in his grandfather's eyes?

"Grandfather, relationships aren't based on who is more outstanding. It also depends on whether the two people are compatible." Nora spoke helplessly.
She knew Isaac very well. But Isaac didn't love her. No matter how good he was, what was the use?
"You and Isaac get along so well!" Edmund stubbornly said, "There is no one more suitable for you in this world!"
Nora felt very helpless.
She didn't understand why her grandfather was so stubbornly trying to match her with Isaac.
She had already said what needed to be said to her grandfather, and even if she said it again now, her grandfather wouldn't listen.
"Nora, listen to your grandfather, you will only be happy with Isaac, and if you stay with him, you will only get worse!"
"If you stay with him, you will definitely have bad luck!" Edmund suddenly said mysteriously.
The corners of Nora's mouth twitched.

"Why are you still here? Hurry up and leave, stay away from Nora, she's carrying my great-grandchild in her belly, don't bring bad luck to Nora and my great-grandchild!" Edmund angrily drove the person away.

Steve took a deep breath, looked at Nora, and said, "Since you've encountered your Grandpa, why don't you chat with your grandfather for a while, I'll go back first."
"If you need me to pick you up, just give me a call."
Nora nodded gratefully, "Yeah, you go back first."
It's a good thing he didn't argue with her grandfather, otherwise, if he made her grandfather upset, it wouldn't be good.
"Don't shout, I'm not your grandfather! You hurry up and leave, Nora will come home with me later, she doesn't need you to pick her up!" Edmund said angrily.
Steve turned and left without saying a word.
Seeing Steve leave, Edmund's expression finally improved somewhat.
He grabbed Nora's hand and pleaded, "Nora, can you break up with him?"
"Now that you're pregnant with Isaac's child, for the sake of the child, can you try to develop feelings with Isaac, okay?"
Nora looked at her grandfather's pleading look and felt a pang in her heart.
She didn't want to make her grandfather sad, but she couldn't deceive her grandfather either.
She could only change the topic, "Grandfather, I haven't eaten all day today, I'm really hungry, let's talk after I eat."
"What? You haven't eaten all day? That stinky boy Isaac, how does he take care of you? Isn't he afraid of starving you and the child?" Edmund instantly got angry.
Nora hurriedly explained, "This has nothing to do with Isaac."
But Edmund wasn't listening.
He angrily said, "Nora, go eat first, I'll call and reprimand him!"
After speaking, he walked to the side with a stern face, took out his phone, and called Isaac.
The call was quickly answered.
Edmund immediately started cursing at Isaac: "Where have you been?"
"I told you to take care of Nora yesterday, didn't you ignore my words?"
"Nora hasn't eaten anything all day, aren't you afraid of starving your son?"
"You better come over here right now and take care of Nora!"
"What have you been doing all day? You don't even care about your own wife, you don't even know that she's been stolen!"
Edmund said all this in one breath.
Without giving Isaac a chance to retort, he hung up the phone.
Then, with a smile on his face, he looked at Nora and asked, "Nora, was Grandpa too harsh just now? Did he scare you?"
"No." Nora awkwardly smiled.
Edmund chuckled and said, "Let's go, I'll accompany you to have a meal inside. Isaac will pick us up later."
Nora silently followed Edmund into the restaurant.
Edmund ordered a big table full of dishes, smiling as he watched Nora eat.
When Nora had eaten enough, Isaac finally arrived slowly.
Seeing Isaac and thinking about what he said last night, Nora's mood suddenly became not so good.
Her appetite also decreased.
She put down her utensils. "I'm full."

Edmund couldn't stand Isaac's attitude.
"Why did it take you so long? You're so slow, no wonder you couldn't win her over!" Edmund sarcastically remarked.
Isaac pretended not to understand his insinuation and said calmly, "Isn't this timing perfect?"
"Now that we're done eating, let's leave quickly."
After saying that, he turned and walked towards the exit.
Edmund stood up in anger and caught up to him, using his cane to hit his butt.
"You brat, are you just going to leave like this?"
"Then what else should I do? How should I leave?" Isaac furrowed his brows.
Edmund angrily said, "Nora is carrying a baby now, and her movements are limited. You should support her!"

"Nora's new boyfriend knows to hold her hand when they walk, why are you so clueless?"
"If you keep this up, be careful that Nora gets stolen and your son calls another man Dad!"

Edmund angrily said, "Besides arguing with me, what else can you do?"
Isaac: "Fine. I won't argue with you anymore."

He turned around and stood in front of Nora, looking at her with a deep gaze.
"Don't take Grandpa's words seriously... um..."
Nora was just about to ease the awkwardness, but Isaac suddenly picked her up in his arms.
"What are you doing?" Nora looked at him quizzically.
Isaac smirked and said, "Grandfather wants me to spoil you, so I'll spoil you for his sake."
Nora was confused.
He didn't explain and carried Nora out of the restaurant.
Nora thought he just wanted to carry her to the car.
But Isaac continued to carry her past the car without stopping.
"The car is behind us," Nora thought he hadn't noticed and kindly reminded him.
"I know," Isaac said.
"Then why aren't you getting in the car?" Nora asked.
"I'll carry you home," Isaac replied.
"Can't he stop being so childish?" Nora thought.
