Chapter 83 Isaac Found out Nora Was Counting on Him
Isaac's face instantly became extremely gloomy.
"How can this drug be triggered?" he asked, suppressing his anger.
Rhys had a complicated expression.

"Just spit it out, don't leave anything unsaid!" Isaac impatiently said.
Rhys said silently, "Can't you have a little patience?"

Isaac's gaze became slightly darker.

Not only did she have to drug him, but she also had to apply perfume for Isaac to smell it.
Furthermore, she had to seduce Isaac and make him have impulses towards her.
This drug was too troublesome.

Nora didn't think about it any further, she lay back on the bed and waited for Isaac to return to the room.

It was almost dawn when Isaac finally returned from the study.
When he lifted the blanket and lay down next to her, Nora woke up.
"Are you done with your work?" Nora asked groggily, looking at him with half-closed eyes. Her voice, still sleepy, sounded particularly soft.
"Yeah. Did I wake you up?" Isaac asked in a deep voice.
Nora rolled over and snuggled into his arms.
Rubbing her head against his chest, she said softly, "Hmm... you did wake me up. I should punish you..."
"How do you want to punish me?" Isaac's voice remained steady, but his gaze in the darkness grew colder.
When Nora snuggled into his arms, he caught a whiff of an unfamiliar fragrance.
The scent was very faint, almost unnoticeable.
If his nose wasn't sensitive and if he didn't know her scent so well, he wouldn't have detected it at all.
He remembered what Rhys had told him in the study.
Rhys had said that the drug that could make others mistake someone for their love interest required two separate ingredients to be effective.
The external ingredient was made into the form of a perfume that could be applied to the body like any other perfume.
The smell was very faint and difficult to detect.
Even if it was discovered, one could claim that it was just ordinary perfume.
Nora really did drug him.
‘Nora, what exactly are you planning?’ He pondered.
"Let me think...," Nora pondered for a few seconds, her soft voice carrying a hint of shyness, "Let's punish you... by making you kiss me!"
Nora's words brought Isaac back to his senses.

She didn't intentionally deceive him.
But she had no other choice.
After kissing for a while, she could clearly feel Isaac's breath become irregular and his body temperature rise.

Isaac was panting and his hands started to wander on her body.

The room was not lit.
With the light coming through the crack of the door, one could faintly see a tall and muscular man tossing and turning on the bed, restless.
He was breathing heavily, and his sturdy muscles rose and fell vigorously with each breath, giving off a seductive allure.
Kalista grew excited, and her blood boiled with anticipation.
"Isaac, are you in pain? I'm here to help you!" Kalista closed the door and rushed to the bedside eagerly.
Tonight she would definitely turn her relationship with Isaac into something more serious.
Her heart raced with excitement.
But at the same time, she felt a sense of hatred for Nora.
That medicine Nora used, she didn't know what it was about. But she was certain of one thing!
