Chapter 315 Old Habits Die Hard
Nora glared at Isaac with annoyance.
She thought, 'How can he scare a child with such words?'
Isaac looked calm, as if he hadn't done anything wrong.
Nora's mouth twitched.
Isaac still remained calm.
Nora withdrew her gaze, kissed Soren on the cheek, and said gently, "Don't listen to him, I will always love you."
Soren's face lit up with a happy smile, and he kissed Nora back. "I love you too, forever!"
Nora smiled and said, "Are you sleepy? I'll take you to sleep."
"Mm-hmm." Soren nodded obediently. Because she had been woken up from a deep sleep and forcibly brought back, so she was very tired.
Nora carried Soren towards the room. Halfway there, she stopped. "Magnus is in the room. Do you want to sleep with Magnus?"
Soren immediately shook her head angrily. "No, Magnus is bad, unless he apologizes to me!"
Nora tenderly rubbed Soren's head. Although the wound on her head had healed, the shaved hair hadn't fully grown back, and the hurt she had experienced was not forgotten. It was normal for her not to want to be with Magnus.
Besides, Magnus hadn't apologized for his mistake yet. Anyone would still be angry.
Nora carried Soren to the room where Isaac slept. And Soren quickly fell asleep.
Nora tiptoed out of the room.
In the living room, Isaac looked at Nora and asked softly, "Why did you go out so late?"
Nora sat down next to him, leaned on the sofa, and looked very tired. "I went to the hospital and had Rhys help me test the DNA of Magnus and me."
Isaac was silent. He didn't expect that Nora also suspected like him that Magnus had been switched. "I had Rhys test it a while ago, but I didn't tell you because I was afraid you'd be upset."
"Got it, Rhys told me," Nora said.
Isaac said, "Don't worry too much. Edmund has already hired a professional nanny to educate him properly. His situation will improve."
Nora looked serious. "I suspect he might have developed a split personality."
Isaac looked at her in surprise.
Nora told Isaac about taking Magnus out to play today, how Magnus seemed unfamiliar with toys he had played with before, and how he suddenly liked things he used to dislike.
Then she gave a bitter smile and said, "I can't think of any other reason to explain his abnormal behavior recently, except that he has developed a second personality, and it's now controlling his body."
Isaac was silent.
Hearing Nora's explanation, he also thought it was possible. And he held Nora's hand and said seriously, "Don't worry, I'll find a professional doctor to help him get better."
Nora gave a bitter smile, hoping Magnus can be cured.
The next day.
When Nora got up, Isaac had already made breakfast, and Soren was happily following him around. As he brought things to the table, she followed him back and forth, her face beaming with a happy smile.
Magnus's face instantly darkened when he saw them. "Why are they here again?"
Soren immediately got angry, put her hands on her hips, and said angrily, "This is Mommy's house, where is also my house. What's wrong with me coming back to my own home?"
Isaac didn't argue with him, brought the remaining food to the table, and then picked Soren up and sat her on a chair. "Let's eat first."
Soren snorted angrily and withdrew her gaze. But tears welled up in her eyes, making her look very sad and aggrieved.
She pondered, 'Magnus was a bad guy. He pushed her to get hurt, and now he didn't want her to come home. He was too much. She didn't want him anymore. Unless he apologized to her!'
However, Magnus had no intention of apologizing.
Nora sighed helplessly, took Magnus into the dining room, and tried to sit him on a chair, but he dodged, looked up at her, and said sternly, "I want to eat the breakfast you made!"
Nora said, "Isaac made breakfast for four people, it's enough for us. There's no need to make more. Besides, what I make isn't as good as what Isaac makes."
"I don't care, I want what you made!" Magnus said stubbornly.
Nora opened her mouth, ready to give in and make him a new breakfast.
But before she could speak, Isaac said coldly, "The food is already made. If you don't want to eat it, then don't. Making more would be wasteful. Hasn't anyone told you not to waste food?"
Magnus was furious.He thought, 'No one had ever told him that. They had abandoned him since he was little and never cared for him. Now, how dare they lecture him?'
Nora hesitated for a moment but ultimately didn't indulge Magnus.
She reached out and patted Magnus's head, saying gently, "Since breakfast is already made, let's eat what's there. We can't waste food. Besides, we went out to play all day yesterday, and I'm still very tired. I don't want to make breakfast. Can you let me rest?"
Magnus angrily turned and left the dining room. "I'm not eating!"
Isaac grabbed Nora's wrist and said to her, "Ignore him. If he doesn't want to eat, then let him be. Missing one meal won't kill him."
When he was a child and threw tantrums about not eating, Edmund wouldn't indulge him either.
Nora sighed deeply and didn't bother with Magnus. She ate breakfast with Isaac and Soren, though she was preoccupied.
After breakfast, she contacted the psychologist Rhys had recommended.
After setting up an appointment, Nora and Isaac took the kids out.
On the way, Nora tried to get Magnus to apologize to Soren. "Magnus, it was wrong of you to push Soren that day. Look, Soren still has a scar on the back of her head. Even though you didn't do it on purpose, it was your carelessness that caused her to get hurt. Whether it was intentional or not, you have to take responsibility for your actions, so you need to apologize to Soren. And if you apologize, Soren won't be mad at you anymore."
Soren pouted and arrogantly refused to look at Magnus, but her eyes were full of expectation.
However, Magnus was playing with his toy gun and threw it at Soren after hearing Nora's words. "I'm not apologizing to her. She deserved it for bothering me!"
"Mommy, I never want to talk to him again. You and Daddy should have another brother for me, and throw him away. I never want to see him again!" Soren said angrily.
