Chapter 91 Steve Takes Charge and Kicks Kalista Out of the House
Steve let go of Nora's hand.
He took long strides downstairs.
As he approached, Kalista felt a dangerously strong aura closing in on her.
The powerful presence seemed to push the air around her, making it hard to breathe.
"What do you want?" Kalista said and instinctively tensed up, a hint of fear rising deep within her.
But to save face, she forced a strong expression, deliberately standing tall and glaring at him aggressively.
Kalista stated, "I warned you, this is my fiancé's home. I am the mistress here. I can do whatever I want in my own home and say whatever I want!"
Kalista demanded, "You, a guest staying here, should respect me as the host and be polite to me!"
However, Steve seemed to ignore her words and continued towards her.
Kalista started sweating on her forehead.
Chills ran down her spine.
Who was this man exactly?
Why did he exude such a powerful aura?
It made her feel the same fear as facing Isaac!
Soon, Steve stood in front of Kalista.
His tall figure, like a towering mountain, loomed over Kalista, exerting immense pressure on her.
Kalista couldn't control her trembling.
Kalista warned, "I advise you not to act recklessly. If you harm me, Isaac won't spare you!
"No matter how powerful you are, in all of Aridonia, even the whole country, you can't afford to offend the the Porter Family, let alone Isaac!"
"If you offend Isaac, you will surely meet a bad end!
"And as Isaac's fiancé, I represent Isaac. Harming me is disrespecting Isaac!"
Kalista was very afraid and could only try to intimidate this man with Isaac.
In this country, no one would be unaware of what the the Porter Family represented.
Those who knew the the Porter Family would also know what Isaac represented.
Although Isaac had not officially become the head of the the Porter Family.
But now, the the Porter Family's company was basically under Isaac's control.
He had been designated as the heir of the the Porter Family, inheriting the family was a certainty.
Isaac was the future head of the the Porter Family.
Offending Isaac was like cutting off one's own survival in this country!
She thought, if this man had any brains at all, he wouldn't offend the future mistress of the the Porter Family just because of a moment of impulse.
However, Steve repeatedly ignored her threats.
He looked at Kalista coldly, his voice low and devoid of warmth, and said, "I'll give you two choices."
Steve said, "First, leave on your own."
He added, "Second, I'll escort you out."
He struggled to control his inner violent impulses and refrained from acting out physically.
Regardless, Kalista owed him a debt of gratitude.
He tried not to resort to violence as much as possible.
But even if Kalista owed him a debt, he couldn't tolerate her insulting his child.
"What do you mean? You want to kick me out?!" Kalista exclaimed in shock, her eyes widening.
For a moment, she wondered if she was hearing things.
But she quickly confirmed that she wasn't hallucinating.
This man actually wanted to kick her out!
Kalista was furious, sharply saying, "Are you out of your mind?"
"Do you know where this is?
"This is my fiancé Isaac's territory, my home.
"You, not even a proper guest, what right do you have to kick me out?
"It's a joke!
"You and Nora are indeed of the same kind, both of you are crazy!" she blabbered.
Nora brought her current partner to her ex-husband's house to stay.
This man came as a guest and wanted to kick the host out.
The actions of these two were beyond what a normal person would do.
Their minds were definitely messed up!
"It seems you have no intention of leaving on your own," Steve said coldly.
He glanced around.
Then, he walked to a nearby table and picked up a vase on it.
Without a word, he raised the vase and threw it toward Kalista.
Kalista's pupils constricted, and she immediately jumped up from the sofa, swiftly flipping behind the sofa.
The vase smashed where she had just been sitting, shattering into pieces.
If she hadn't moved in time, the vase would have hit her head!
"Are you crazy? You actually laid hands on me in my fiancé's home, smashing my fiancé's things. You are too arrogant!" she yelled at him.
"Do you know how much that vase is worth?" Kalista asked, "That vase is worth at least hundreds of thousands of dollars. Can you afford to pay for it?!"
Kalista was getting angrier.
Being bullied in her fiancé's home shouldn't happen, right?
Nora is a lunatic, and her boyfriend is also a lunatic!
Kalista asked, "Nora, aren't you going to control your boyfriend?!"
Kalista glared furiously at Nora, gritting her teeth.
Kalista questioned, "Aren't you afraid that he will offend Isaac, and Isaac will come to deal with him?"
However, before Nora could respond, Steve picked up another vase and threw it at Kalista.
Kalista hurriedly dodged.
But she was still hit by the flying shards of the vase, letting out a painful scream.
Steve kept throwing things.
Forced to retreat continuously, Kalista finally exited the villa.
Then, without hesitation, Steve closed the villa's door.
Kalista was locked outside.
Steve turned back to Nora, took her hand, and walked upstairs.
"Let's go, no one is causing a ruckus now."
Nora's mouth twitched in disbelief.
She looked at Steve with a complex expression, seeming to want to say something but hesitating.
She thought she was already audacious enough in Isaac's house.
But Steve was even more audacious.
He actually kicked Kalista out!
Kalista was Isaac's woman.
Even if Isaac and Kalista weren't married yet, Kalista could still be considered half the mistress here.
Steve, a guest, wasn't even a proper guest.
Yet he dared to kick the host out of the house?
This was simply, outrageously audacious!
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Steve turned to Nora, puzzled.
Nora said, "Don't you think your actions are somewhat inappropriate?"
"What's inappropriate?" Steve asked.
Nora said, "This is my ex-husband's house. The woman you just kicked out is my ex-husband's woman."
"I know," Steve replied.
Nora said speechlessly, "Since you know, are you not afraid that my ex-husband will find out and come after you?"
Steve nonchalantly said, "If he dares to come after me, I'll go to Katie and file a complaint."
Nora's mouth trembled violently as she gasped.
Isaac was Katie's grandson. How could he be so sure that if he complained to Katie, she would help him instead of Isaac?
However, watching Steve kick Kalista out of the house, she still felt quite satisfied.
