Chapter 401 Her Malicious Heart
"Liora, don't get so cocky!" Amara's chest heaved with anger.
Liora sneered, "I'm not the one being cocky. Have you forgotten how you used to act?"
Back then, Amara would act all sweet to get Sylvie to agree to let her date and live with Isaac, and she would often show off in front of her.
Besides bragging on Facebook, she would frequently send her private messages.
Photos of Isaac's bed, Isaac's clothes, the bathroom, and so on.
Liora was almost driven mad with anger.
Now, the roles had finally reversed.
But she wasn't as disgusting as Amara, she just casually said a few words to her.
Amara bit her lip hard.
She was not willing to lose like this!
Especially not to Liora!
Isaac didn't like her being noisy, so she could change.
Amara softened her voice, quickly squeezed out a tear, letting it hang at the corner of her eye, and looked pitifully at Isaac.
"Isaac, if you think I'm noisy, you can just tell me, I can change."
"Actually, I'm not noisy at all at home, I'm very gentle and quiet."
"I just thought men liked lively girls, so I tried to act that way to please you, but it backfired and made you dislike me."
"Isaac, let me stay and observe me a bit more, okay? I promise I will show my true self and stop pretending to be so lively. If you still don't like me, then I'll leave."
After saying the last sentence, the tear hanging at the corner of her eye finally slid down.
She raised her hand and gently wiped the tear away with her finger, the movement delicate and beautiful, making her even more pitiful.
Liora was about to go crazy with anger.
She didn't expect Amara to pull this stunt right in front of her!
Amara was even more troublesome at home, gentle and quiet was the last thing that described her. She was just lying to win Isaac over.
Liora gritted her teeth and said, "Amara, cut the act! We all know what you're like, Isaac has sharp eyes, he saw through you long ago, he won't be fooled by you!"
Amara felt a bit panicked inside, but on the surface, she looked aggrieved, "Liora, we're sisters, why are you so malicious towards me? I'm not like you say I am."
Liora's face turned pale with anger, just as she was about to retort.
But before she could speak, Isaac spoke first, in a calm voice, "If you want to stay, then stay. You sisters can keep each other company."
Amara's face lit up with excitement, "Thank you, Isaac, you're so kind!"
"I promise I’ll be more considerate from now on and won't make you feel annoyed!"
Liora looked incredulous, "Isaac, what did you say? You're letting her stay? Didn't you say you didn't like her? Why let her stay?"
Isaac replied, "I didn't say I didn't like her, I just said I didn't like her noisy personality, but if she can change, I can accept her."
Liora was deeply hurt.
So, he had a good impression of her, not because of her as a person, but because she was quieter?
If Amara changed her personality and became quiet, he would accept Amara too?
How could this be?
She couldn't accept this fact!
But Isaac had made up his mind, and this was his place, if Liora forced him to kick Amara out, it would make her seem unreasonable.
Liora could only suppress her frustration.
Isaac said to Liora, "I'll have Kieran arrange a room for you."
Amara chimed in, "Isaac, Kieran went out to buy things, why don't I arrange Liora's room? I've been here for a while, I'm familiar with the place like it's my own home, I can show her around!"
Isaac agreed, "Okay."
"Isaac." Liora looked resistant, ready to refuse.
Isaac interrupted her, "I have work to do, unless it's something very important, don't disturb me."
Liora's words were cut off.
She could only watch as Isaac went upstairs to his study.
Soon, only the two sisters and their bodyguards were left in the living room.
Amara looked at Liora with a smile, mockingly saying, "I thought Isaac really liked you, but it turns out he just likes you being quiet like a mute."
"As long as I can change my personality and stay quiet in front of him, he can accept me too."
"Liora, you're not as young as me, not as skilled as me, not as good at pleasing men as me, the only thing Isaac likes is that you talk less, I can pick that up easily, what do you have to compete with me?"
Liora's face turned ugly with anger, she couldn't help but raise her hand to slap Amara.
Amara grabbed her wrist and laughed, "Liora, why so impatient? Hitting people is not a good habit, if Isaac finds out, do you think he would like a woman who pretends to be cold but is actually vicious?"
Liora shouted angrily, "Stop slandering me!"
Amara sneered, "Liora, don't get angry, you know better than anyone if I'm slandering you."
"When I was a kid, I had pets like cats, dogs, rabbits, and foxes, none of them lived past three months, they were all skinned, don't think I don't know it was you."
Liora's face turned dark, she replied sternly, "If you think it was me, then show the evidence, otherwise you're slandering me!"
Amara sneered.
Evidence?
The evidence was destroyed by Sylvie.
But even without the evidence, she knew it was Liora.
Amara suddenly leaned close to Liora's ear and whispered, "I heard Isaac's son was seriously injured. Electrocuted, right?"
"Liora, was it you?"
"This method is exactly the same as how you abused my pets back then."
"If mom hadn't stopped you, would you have broken his limbs and skinned him like my pets?"
"What do you think Isaac would do if he knew you abused his son?"
Liora's pupils shrank, her body trembled uncontrollably.
But soon, she calmed down and angrily scolded, "Amara, stop slandering me, if you suspect me, show the evidence to Isaac. Quit trying to intimidate me!"
Amara sneered, "Evidence? I bet Mom must have destroyed the evidence again, she always covers for you, but you always think she's biased towards me."
Liora clenched her fists tightly.
Amara didn't continue the topic, she smiled, "Come on, Liora, let me take you to your room, then I'll show you around."
"You'll be living here from now on, don't be a stranger, if you need anything, just tell me, I'll arrange it for you."
She acted like the hostess, completely overshadowing Liora.
