Chapter 548 Tell Her All the Truth
Mortimer lowered his eyes to look at Isaac, his gaze somewhat cold. "Why are you here? Are you afraid Nora won't die and came here specifically to upset her?"
Isaac instinctively clenched his fists, his dark eyes filled with pain.
He pressed his lips tightly together, looking deeply at the closed door of the hospital room.
After a few seconds, he looked away, turned his wheelchair, and silently left.
Even if Mortimer hadn't stopped him, he wouldn't have dared to face Nora.
Mortimer watched Isaac leave and then arranged for someone to guard the door of the hospital room, not allowing anyone to disturb Nora's rest.
After Nora woke up, her body recovered much faster.

Magnus and Soren could easily see that she was troubled, and she didn't have the energy or mood to take care of them.

Nora saw Amara a week after being discharged.
After a week of self-adjustment, her mood had calmed down a lot, so she decided to bring Magnus and Soren back.
But just as she drove out of the neighborhood, someone stopped her car.
At first, Nora didn't recognize the person who stopped her as Amara.
Because the person was thin, with messy hair, and wore a pair of huge sunglasses that covered most of her face.
The most crucial thing was that her belly wasn't swollen.
So she didn't think it was Amara.
After the person stopped her car, she banged on the hood forcefully.
Nora had no choice but to get out of the car and ask what she wanted.
But as soon as she got out of the car, Amara rushed up to her and raised her hand to hit her face.
"Bitch, go to hell!"
Nora quickly grabbed her wrist, forcefully pushed her away, and took a few steps back to distance herself.
"Amara? Is that you?" Nora looked closely and finally recognized Amara.
Her gaze lingered on Amara's belly for a few seconds, and she frowned.
Judging by Amara's pregnancy months, she shouldn't be due yet. Why had her belly shrunk?
Amara staggered back a few steps after being pushed by Nora, swaying a bit before barely standing still. Her sunglasses fell off due to the inertia, revealing her eyes full of resentment, staring at Nora.
"Nora, my child was killed because of you. Isaac won't marry me anymore, he kicked me out of his house, and he blocked me. No matter how much I beg him, he won't see me. Are you satisfied now?"
Nora's pupils contracted.
Amara's child was gone? How could that be? Didn't Isaac protect her?
She instinctively asked, "When the box fell, didn't Isaac protect you? How did the child die?"
Amara gritted her teeth and said, "He did protect me, but you kicked me, and I hit my belly when I fell. You killed my child!"
"Nora, you're a murderer. You killed my child!"
Nora clenched her fists tightly, feeling very uncomfortable.
Although she kicked Amara to protect herself at the time, the situation was related to her, so she couldn't argue.
Amara suddenly started laughing, louder and louder, laughing maniacally like she had gone mad.

She really loved Isaac, even knowing he wanted to use her child to save Magnus, she didn't care.
She even thought that if her child could save Magnus, Isaac might be grateful to her and treat her better.
But now, everything was ruined.
Isaac was truly heartless to her.
As soon as the doctor announced her child couldn't be saved, he stopped the wedding preparations and immediately arranged for her luggage to be moved out of the villa.
When she woke up and went to find him, she was stopped by bodyguards.
He didn't even want to see her.
