Chapter 123 When to Repay, When to Let Her Go

"Sorry, I won't lie to you again in the future. Can you forgive me once?" Mortimer's apology was sincere.

Nora hung up in anger.

She hugged her knees and buried her face in them, silently sobbing.

As the phone rang again, Nora seemed oblivious, not even glancing at it. Isaac picked up her phone and ended the call.

But soon, Mortimer called again.

Isaac added that number to the block list.

Now, the ward finally quieted down.

The suppressed sobs from Nora sounded particularly clear.

Although Isaac was still angry inside, he walked to the bedside and embraced Nora, gently patting her back as if comforting a puppy.

Nora buried her face in Isaac's chest, biting his shirt in her mouth, her body trembling.

Isaac tensed up a bit, a painful groan escaping his nostrils because Nora bit into his flesh.

But he just groaned and didn't push Nora away.

After more than ten minutes, Nora was still crying, showing no signs of stopping.

Isaac advised, "Stop crying. No matter how much you cry, the child won't come back."

Nora felt even sadder.

Isaac said, "You're still young. If you take care of yourself, you'll have children in the future."

Nora continued to cry.

Isaac started to feel impatient.

After waiting for a while, Nora showed no signs of stopping.

Isaac threatened in a low voice, "Stop crying. Do you hear me?"

The doctor said she shouldn't get too emotional, as crying continuously could affect her health.

But Nora seemed not to hear his words, continuing to cry sadly.

Isaac suddenly pushed her away and pressed her onto the bed, then leaned down, kissing her lips.

Nora was shocked, looking at him.

After several seconds, she came back to her senses.

Nora struggled and pushed him away while Isaac's body remained unmoved. Despite her efforts, Isaac stayed still.

Nora's mouth was filled with Isaac's invading breath, her head blank, her heart pounding.

After what seemed like an eternity, Isaac finally let her go.

He lifted his head, filled with desire, gazing at her intently. "Breathe."

This idiot forgot to breathe after a kiss.

They had been intimate many times before, yet Nora still felt inexperienced.

But this innocence made him unable to resist.

Upon hearing Isaac's voice, Nora suddenly gasped for air, her flushed face slowly regaining color.

After a while, Nora calmed down, but her face remained bright red.

She looked at Isaac, embarrassed and annoyed. "What are you doing?"

Isaac smiled faintly, not answering but leaning down to kiss her again.

Nora exclaimed, pushing Isaac with force.

After a dozen seconds, Isaac finally withdrew.

Angrily, she asked, "What are you doing?"

Isaac replied, "Answering your question."

Nora looked puzzled.

Isaac smiled faintly. "Do you ask me what I am doing? I'm answering with actions."

"You shameless!" Nora was both embarrassed and annoyed; her face red. "Why do you kiss me?"

Isaac said, "Your crying face is irresistible. I can't help it."

Nora was speechless.

Isaac continued, "If you want me to kiss you, keep crying to seduce me. I promise to satisfy you."

Nora indignantly said, "I'm not seducing you!"

Isaac raised an eyebrow without commenting.

Nora felt frustrated.

She was still upset inside, but after Isaac's words, she dared not cry again.

She feared that if she continued to cry, Isaac would kiss her again.

Nora wiped her mouth forcefully, dried her tears, and lay back on the bed sullenly.

Isaac also restrained his frivolous expression and told her, "Rest well, take care of yourself, and we'll have children in the future."

Nora's heart trembled, thinking, ' What does Isaac mean by that? Is he trying to reconcile with me? Will we have children together in the future?'

If this had happened before she fell ill, Nora would have been ecstatic to hear such words.

But now, Nora only felt bitter and uneasy.

She had no future.

Nora gritted her teeth and said firmly, "Isaac, we are divorced. I don't want any connection with you, let alone having children with you. I appreciate what you did this time, but please respect our agreement in the future, stay away from me, and stop interfering in my life!"

Isaac's face darkened instantly, asking, "What's the agreement? I remember we agreed that if it turned out you weren't carrying my child, I would let you go. But now it's proven that you are carrying my child, so you should abide by the agreement, and everything should be under my control!"

Nora said, "The child is gone!"

Isaac squinted, his voice filled with a hint of cruelty, "Let's conceive another one!"

Nora was shocked and looked at him in disbelief. "Do you know what you're saying?"

"I know exactly what I'm talking about!" Isaac gritted his teeth.

"The child was a result of my efforts, but you alone got rid of him. Shouldn't you compensate me?" Isaac asked.

"You're unreasonable!" Nora couldn't understand his logic.

Isaac sneered and continued, "Oh, I forgot, it is not just one, but three, with these two children this time, along with the one from four years ago. Nora, you owe me three children. When you repay them, we can talk about freedom again."

Nora looked at him incredulously.

Why was Isaac being so unreasonable?

Nora took a deep breath, suppressed her emotions, and calmly said, "The child is in my belly. I'll decide what to do with it. "

"I don't owe you a thing, much less compensation. If you're set on it, let's take it to court. If the judge says I have to pay, then I will !"

Isaac unreasonably said, "Why should others judge my affairs?"

Nora's face changed unpredictably with anger.

How could she not have noticed before that Isaac was so unreasonable?

Isaac stood up, turned, and left the ward.

Nora had been in the hospital for three days and was now ready to be discharged.

Isaac personally picked her up from the hospital.

He carried Nora out of the ward.

Along the way, they attracted countless stares.

Nora felt so embarrassed that she could only cover her face with her hand.

"I can walk by myself!" Nora couldn't help but say.

But Isaac seemed not to hear, carrying her all the way to the car.

Once in the car, Isaac still didn't let go of Nora, making her sit on his lap.

The car started, heading towards Isaac's private villa.

Nora felt increasingly agitated and asked, "Isaac, what do you want?"
