Chapter 343 Isaac saw a boy who looked very much like him.
Soren held Magnus's hand and happily ran to the restaurant.
Nora told Isaac that she would take the chidren to the family park again with him.
Isaac had no objections.
After breakfast, just before they were about to leave, Magnus suddenly asked, "Mommy, can we ask Mortimer to come along? I want to play with him."
Nora clearly felt Isaac's demeanor change, and his face instantly turned very unpleasant.
Magnus seemed frightened and moved closer to Nora for protection.
Nora reminded Isaac, "Don't make that face, you're scaring him."
Isaac snorted coldly and said indifferently, "Do as you see fit."
Then he picked up Soren and walked away.
After Isaac walked away, Nora squatted down, looked seriously at Magnus, and said, "Mortimer might be busy. We can't always bother him. How about just the four of us going out today?"
Magnus said, "Mortimer said yesterday that he's free on Saturdays and Sundays. He said I can find him anytime I want."
Nora's smile froze.
Magnus said gloomily, "Mommy, do you not want to invite Mortimer?"
Nora said, "It's not appropriate to invite him today. We'll invite him next time."
Magnus got a bit angry, "I'm not going if you don't invite Mortimer. I'll stay home and play by myself. Mommy, just take Soren to play and leave me alone."
He turned around gloomily and walked back into the villa.
Nora hurriedly chased after him and reached out to grab Magnus.
"Magnus, don't throw a tantrum. Isn't it enough that Isaac, Soren, and I are with you? You have just seen Mortimer last night. How about we visit him again in a few days?"
Magnus shook his head vigorously, "No, I want to see Mortimer every day."
"I just miss Mortimer, how is that throwing a tantrum?"
"When Soren wants to go out and play, you agree immediately. But when I want to play with Mortimer, you don't agree. Do you not love me anymore?"
Nora hurriedly said, "That's not true. Isaac is going out with us today, so we can't invite Mortimer."
Magnus asked in confusion, "Why not?"
Nora said, "They don't get along."
Since Magnus was so smart, he must have already noticed that Isaac and Mortimer didn't get along, so she didn't mind saying it directly in front of him.
Magnus said, "Then let Isaac stay behind. Invite Mortimer. Soren and I both like Mortimer more. If Mortimer goes with us, we'll definitely be happier."
Nora's eyes widened, "Never say things like that again. We live in Isaac's house. If he hears this, he'll be very hurt."
Magnus pouted indifferently, "It's not like we have to live here. We can go back to our own house."
"And we can also stay at Mortimer's house."
Nora immediately said, "We will never stay at Mortimer's house."
Magnus was a bit unhappy.
"If he doesn't like me and thinks Mortimer will make you all happier, then invite Mortimer. I won't go and spoil the fun."
A low, cold voice suddenly came from behind.
Nora turned her head and saw Isaac standing at the door, looking at them with a grim expression.
Nora immediately felt a headache.
Magnus wasn't pacified yet, and now Isaac was angry.
She forced a smile and said, "Kids say the darndest things, don't take it seriously."
Isaac snorted coldly.
Magnus, this ungrateful brat, could easily make him so angry that he wanted to strangle him with just a few words.
He felt that Magnus hadn't changed at all, just that he didn't throw tantrums like before, but his nature was still the same.
Mortimer was of no use to him at all!
Isaac took a deep breath and said to Nora, "I'll take Soren first. You contact Mortimer yourself. I don't want to see him."
Isaac turned and walked out.
He didn't want to make things difficult for Nora, so he conceded.
Nora was very surprised by Isaac's concession.
He actually agreed to let her contact Mortimer!
She felt a surge of gratitude and a deep sense of guilt towards him.
Nora quickly composed herself, sighed, took out her phone, and said to Magnus, "I'll dial the number for you. You talk to Mortimer yourself."
She quickly dialed Mortimer's number.
Then she handed the phone to Magnus.
"Mortimer, Mommy is taking me out to play. I want to play with you. Can you come with us?" Magnus asked expectantly.
Mortimer said, "Of course. Give the phone to your mommy; I need to talk to her."
Magnus immediately handed the phone to Nora, "Mommy, Mortimer wants to talk to you."
Nora took the phone.
Mortimer's voice came through the phone, "Nora, when are we leaving? Should I pick you up, or will you come to me?"
Nora said, "We're leaving now. I'll drive to you."
Mortimer chuckled, "Okay, I'll wait for you. Drive safely."
Nora responded and hung up the phone.
She took Magnus to the car and drove to Mortimer's house.
Mortimer was already waiting at the villa entrance.
After the car stopped, Nora got out of the driver's seat, and Mortimer seamlessly got in.
Nora moved to the back seat to sit with Magnus.
Nora said, "I've set the navigation. Just follow it."
Mortimer smiled, "Okay."
The car started and slowly moved forward.
While driving, Mortimer asked, "Nora, why did you only bring Magnus? Where is Soren?"
Nora said, "Isaac took her and left first."
Mortimer's face stiffened, and he asked in surprise, "Isaac is going too? Did he agree to let me go?"
Nora replied, "He asked me to contact you."
Mortimer's expression changed.
He didn't expect Isaac to agree to let him join.
If they were going out so peacefully today, they must not have argued last night.
How did Isaac's temper improve so much?
If Isaac didn't cause trouble, how could Nora give up on him?
Mortimer felt a bit annoyed.
On the other side, Isaac had already arrived at the destination with Soren.
After parking the car, he was about to take Soren to buy tickets and enter the park.
But while crossing the street, Soren looked back and suddenly pointed to a spot about three hundred feet away, excitedly shouting, "Magnus! Why are you there alone? Look over here!"
Isaac frowned.
Did Nora bring Magnus?
They shouldn't have arrived so soon.
Isaac turned around and looked in the direction Soren was pointing. A dirty little boy, about three years old, instantly came into his view.
Isaac was shocked when he saw the boy's face clearly, and he looked at the face in disbelief.
The boy's face looked remarkably similar to his own!
