Chapter 59 Isaac Takes a Stab

When Nora heard that familiar voice, her body jolted, her mind going blank for a moment. It was Isaac's voice!

She opened her eyes wide to see a figure towering like a deity, emanating a devilishly dangerous presence as he stepped into the cave.

Tears welled up in Nora's eyes as her nose stung with emotion. He had understood her plea for help. He had not ignored her distress.

The three kidnappers turned toward the mouth of the cave upon hearing the voice. Their faces changed color when they saw a stranger making his entrance, and their expressions turned vicious in an instant.

"Who the hell are you?" Daniel demanded in a harsh tone.

Isaac coolly responded, "I'm your one-way ticket to hell!"

The kidnappers were visibly shaken by the formidable aura he exuded, fear quickly spreading through them.

But they soon regained their composure. Daniel sneered, "Just you? You wouldn't even be a warm-up for us. You've got guts spouting nonsense like that!"
Noe snickered, "You came all by yourself to play hero?"

Jack sneered, "Cut the crap and let's just grab him. We tie him up and then have some fun with the lady while he watches."

Both Daniel and Noe were riled up after hearing Jack's words.

Without wasting another word, they whipped out knives and charged at Isaac.

Isaac sprang into action.

Instead of retreating, he charged toward Daniel with ferocious speed.

With a powerful kick, he struck Daniel squarely in the chest.

Daniel was sent flying with his scream sliced through the air.

He hit the ground hard, coughing up blood and spasming violently.

His chest caved in and visibly collapsed.

"Daniel?!" Noe cried out in shock, then, fueled by rage, he lunged at Isaac. "You beast! How dare you do this to Daniel—I'm gonna kill you!"

But just like that, without even laying a finger on Isaac, Noe was kicked away, crumpling to the ground, unable to get up.

Seeing how severely his brothers were beaten, Jack didn't dare charge forward.

He quickly turned and rushed behind Nora, pressing his knife against her throat.

"Don't come any closer, or I'll kill her!" Jack yelled desperately.

Isaac froze, his piercing eyes flickering with a deadly chill, "Release her. If you dare harm her, I'll have your entire family buried with her!"

Jack flinched at the intensity, his body trembling uncontrollably.

But soon, he suppressed his fear and hissed maliciously, "Before you kill my family, I'll kill this dame first!"

Isaac's fists tightened instinctively.

"Let her go. I'll spare your lives," he said through clenched teeth, struggling to contain his rage.

Jack taunted, "Words are cheap. Why should I believe you'll actually let us go?"

Isaac's eyes narrowed dangerously, staying locked on Jack, seeking an opportunity to rescue Nora.

But the knife was pressing too close to Nora's throat, already grazing and drawing blood.

He had no chance to make a move.

It was a situation that called for negotiation, not action.

Any rash move could lead to Nora's death.

"I'm a man of my word. Let her go, and I promise I won't hurt you. I'll even throw in a hefty sum of money," Isaac said, fighting to keep his anger in check.

Jack still wore a guarded expression, not the least bit relaxed.

He didn't care for Isaac's assurances.

Having broken promises in the past, he trusted nobody else's word.

Isaac continued, "Release her, and I'll give you one hundred million dollars. I'll even help to clear your criminal records."

Jack's eyes widened in shock.
This guy talked about throwing around big bucks as if it was chump change—are we sure he's loaded, or is he just bluffing?

Then again, the lady rakes in ten million a month in petty cash; the fella knows her, so it's safe to bet he's not short on cash either. Probably can cough up the amount.

Jack swallowed hard and turned to Noe, who was less banged up, and said, "Noe, tie him up, will ya?"

"He's a tough one, so tie him up first. Then we'll see if he's really rolling in dough."

Noe, clutching his chest, struggled to his feet and cautiously approached Isaac.

"Don't even think about resisting. Lay nice and let Noe tie you up. Make a move, and I'll slice her throat right here!" Jack warned.

Isaac pressed his lips together, silent as a stone.

Nora pleaded desperately, "Isaac, just go, forget about me! Don't let them tie you up—they won't spare you!"

Smack!

Jack's slap landed hard across Nora's cheek.

"Shut your mouth, bitch!" he yelled menacingly.

The force of his slap jolted Nora forward, her neck pressing against the blade's edge.

Instantly, her soft skin split open, and blood trickled down.

Isaac's eyes turned ice-cold, fists clenched tight.

But the sight of the knife at Nora's throat kept him in check, his murderous rage and fury forcibly subdued.

By now, Noe had walked up to Isaac.

Remembering how he and Daniel had been beaten, Noe's face twisted with anger.

He didn't hesitate and lunged forward with the knife, aiming for Isaac's abdomen.

The lengthy blade plunged into Isaac's belly.

Isaac only furrowed his brow slightly, silent, as if impervious to the pain.

"Isaac!"

Nora screamed in horror, her heart skipping a beat, her body trembling in fear.

Tears poured from her eyes as she yelled in anguish, "Why didn't you leave? You could have made it out alone."

With his abilities, these thugs couldn't touch him. He could've left without a scratch.

But he didn't leave, allowing them to harm him—what was he thinking?

Even if he submitted quietly, they wouldn't let him off the hook after gaining control over him!

"I'm alright, don't worry," Isaac said in a deep voice, trying to reassure Nora.

However, his pained voice was far from comforting.

Nora's tears flowed even more freely.

"Noe, what the hell are you doing?" Jack snapped, displeased. "We haven't checked if he's really rich yet. What if he's got more money than this slut?"
Noe snickered with malice. "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. I didn't hit any organs with that stab. Just taught him a lesson and took the fight out of him, so he doesn't get any funny ideas about resisting!"

As he spoke, Noe fished out a length of rope, preparing to tie up Isaac.

Jack, hearing this, let out a sigh of relief.

He had been on edge when he saw Isaac wounded by Noe, but now he relaxed significantly. The knife he held to Nora's throat also eased away.

The woman was already injured, and he feared she might collapse at any minute.

Right at that moment, Isaac suddenly pulled the knife from his abdomen.
