Chapter 125 Do you like being a mistress so much
"Of course, there's a problem!" Kalista's voice raised a few notches.
Her voice trembled as Kalista said, "Although Nora has had a child for you, but now her child is gone, you should compensate her. But I'm still carrying your child in my belly. This is your only child. You can't drive me away for Nora!"
"Isaac, be rational. Even if you don't care about me, think about our child!"
Isaac was a bit impatient. His face turned cold. "Is your child mine? Let's talk about it after you give birth, and we do a DNA test."
A hint of panic surged in Kalista's heart, thinking, 'Does Isaac really know something? It is impossible. I am so discreet. With Mortimer helping me, there's no way Isaac could have found out! The reason Isaac is so cold to me is because he likes Nora.'
Even though Kalista felt unwilling in her heart, seeing Isaac getting impatient, she didn't dare continue making a scene. She could only suppress her grievances and go upstairs to pack her things.
Kalista took her documents and left.
As for clothes and other things, Kalista didn't take anything.
After all, she would come back to live here.
"Kalista has left. From now on, you will stay here obediently. Don't think about leaving until you compensate me," Isaac said to Nora.
With eyes complicated, Nora's heart was in turmoil.
Nora originally wanted to deliberately conflict with Kalista to provoke Isaac and make Isaac drive me away.
After all, she was no longer pregnant, whereas Kalista was carrying Isaac's child. In any conflict with Kalista, Isaac would undoubtedly side with her. But Nora never expected that Isaac would directly drive Kalista away.
Kalista didn't even make a fuss. She just left so easily.
Nora was a bit puzzled about what Isaac was thinking. Does he want her child, or is he trying to retaliate against her?
Isaac originally wanted to stay at home with Nora.
But suddenly, a call came from the company; there was an important contract that needed his approval.
Isaac could only instruct Nora to rest well at home while he went to the company.
After Isaac left, Nora immediately walked out of the villa, ready to go.
But as soon as she reached the door, Griffin stopped her.
Griffin was holding a notebook, writing something on it.
Upon seeing Nora come out, he quickly put away the notebook and smiledly asked Nora, "Are you going to buy something? If you need anything, you can tell me. I'll help you buy it, and then you can go back and rest."
Nora said, "I want to go out for a walk."
Griffin looked embarrassed. "I'm afraid that's not possible. Isaac instructs that you can't leave the villa."
Nora could only go back to the villa.
She had just sat down in the living room for a short while when a loud noise came from the villa gate.
"Katie, please stop. Isaac said no one is allowed in without his permission," Griffin's voice sounded hesitant.
Then, Katie, furious, cursed, "Dare you to stop me? I don't believe it. In my grandson's house, I can't even enter?"
Griffin explained "But Isaac instructed..."
Katie angrily said, "Get out of my way. If Isaac has any opinions, let him come to me!"
Then, Katie directly used her cane to push Griffin aside and angrily walked into the villa.
Griffin didn't dare to use violence to stop her, afraid of hurting Katie, so he hurriedly ran to the side to call Isaac.
"Mr. Porter, something's wrong. Katie is coming in a rage. I don't know what she's up to. She enters the villa..."
At this moment, Katie had already entered the living room.
Nora stood up, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Grandma..."
Katie directly slapped Nora in the face.
Nora's body swayed a few times and fell onto the sofa.
A red and swollen palm print appeared on her fair cheek instantly.
Before Nora could react, Katie's scolding voice rang out, "Nora, do you have any shame left? You and Isaac are already divorced. Isaac is with Kalista, and she's carrying his baby. Why are you still bothering me? "
"Do you like being a mistress so much? Three years ago, you broke up with Isaac and Kalista, instigated Edmund to force Isaac to marry you, and now you're still clinging to Isaac; what exactly do you want to do? Have you not hurt Isaac enough? Do you have to harm him to death to be satisfied?!"
After leaving, Kalista went straight to the Porter family mansion and embellished the story about how Nora instigated Isaac to drive her away to Katie.
Katie, upon hearing this, was furious and immediately rushed over to reprimand Nora personally.
Katie said, "Nora, listen to me carefully. As long as I'm alive, you will never set foot in the Porter family's door again. Stay away from Isaac in the future!"
Nora's eyes turned colder as she responded, "I don't cling to Isaac. It is his insistence on bringing me back. It would help if you talked to Isaac and made sure he stopped bothering me instead of coming here to threaten me. I've said it many times before. I don't want anything to do with him anymore!"
Katie angrily retorted, "If you don't seduce him, keep hinting at him. How could he still come to you? Isaac has already moved on from you, hasn't seen you in half a month, is preparing to marry Kalista, but now suddenly brought you back. It must be because you seduced him!"
Nora explained, "I don't seduce him. Just three days ago, I was at a friend's wedding at a hotel, and he happened to pass by. He saw me in danger and helped me out. Because of that accident, I had a miscarriage. Rhys takes the opportunity to retest the DNA, confirming that the child is Isaac's. That's why he started pursuing me again..."
"Enough!" Katie interrupted in annoyance, "You must have bribed Rhys to fake the test and deceive Isaac! Do you think I don't know that it is your introduction that led Isaac to meet Rhys in the first place?"
Nora was momentarily speechless. She had known Rhys even before Isaac did, but her relationship with Rhys wasn't as close as Rhys and Isaac's.
"Guards!" Katie suddenly shouted.
Several bodyguards entered from outside.
"Take her away!" Katie ordered.
The guards immediately bound Nora and dragged her out.
Nora's face changed slightly. "Where are you taking me?"
When remembering Katie's previous plan to sell her abroad, fear crept into her heart.
She had escaped once before, but she might not be so lucky this time.
Nora struggled, but it was futile.
She was forced into a car.
"Release Nora!" Isaac's grim voice suddenly rang out.
The guards paused, seeking guidance from Katie.
Katie said, "Ignore him; take her away!"
The guards got into the car, preparing to drive off.
However, at that moment, Isaac ran over and stood in front of the car. "Put her down! Otherwise, you'll have to run over me!"
Just then, Katie suddenly clutched her chest, coughing in pain.
Her body shook violently, and she collapsed to the ground.
"Mrs. Porter?"
"Grandma?!" Isaac's heart sank, and he ran to Katie's side.
The car took advantage of the situation and quickly drove away.
Isaac glanced up but didn't give chase.
