Chapter 181 How You Be a Grandfather
Half an hour later, Isaac returned to the Porter Family's old mansion.
At the entrance, he saw a bunch of servants and bodyguards.
"Why are you all standing here?" Isaac asked coldly.
The butler, looking teary, stepped forward. "Mr. Isaac, thank goodness you're back. Ms. Katie kicked us out and won't let us in!
"I heard things breaking inside, but Katie won't let us in, and we didn't dare to force our way. You should check it out!"
Isaac pushed open the door and walked in.
"You old rascal, are you going to talk or not?" Katie's angry voice greeted him.
Edmund, equally furious and helpless, replied, "What do you want me to say? Give me a question to answer!"
Katie was livid. "Still playing innocent? Don't you know the disgusting things you've done?"
Edmund snapped, "Watch your mouth. I respect you, but that doesn't mean I have no temper. Tell me, what did I do that disgusts you?"
Katie said, "The filthy things you've done, I feel dirty even saying them!"
Edmund, frustrated, stamped his foot. "Just say it! If you're going to accuse me, at least tell me what for!"
Hearing this, Isaac quickly closed the door to keep the servants from hearing.
Then, he walked into the living room.
"Grandpa, Grandma, please stop arguing. Let's sit down and talk."
"Isaac, thank goodness you're here. You have to judge this. Your grandma is being unreasonable, Out of nowhere, she suddenly started scolding and insulting me. It's too much!" Edmund said, feeling wronged.
Katie's face turned an ashen shade, her body trembling with anger. "And you still have the nerve to ask Isaac to help you?"
"You old scoundrel, how could you do that? How could you betray Isaac and me?"
As she spoke, Katie's tears started falling, and she began to sway.
Isaac quickly went over to support her.
"Grandma, don't get agitated. Sit down and catch your breath."
Isaac helped Katie to the couch and gently patted her back to calm her down.When she felt Isaac's concern, Katie's eyes filled with tears.
She held Isaac's hand and said pitifully, "Poor child, you're so considerate. How could your grandpa do something that would hurt you?"
Isaac was momentarily stunned.From Katie's words, he could piece together why she was so upset.
After all, Katie had been married to Edmund for years. She knew his body well enough that even without seeing his face, she could still identify him from his physique alone.
"Grandma."
"Why are you scolding me? Tell me clearly, what did I do that makes you call me an old scoundrel and a beast?" Edmund angrily questioned.
Katie said, "Isaac is here, and you're still pretending to be clueless?
"Fine, since you won't admit it, I'll show you the evidence and leave you speechless!"
Edmund snapped, "Show it! If you don't have proof, I won't let this go!"
Seeing his stubborn denial, Katie was infuriated.
She shakily reached into her pocket to pull out her phone, but Isaac held her hand and said, "Grandma, let's not show Grandpa. I believe he was framed."
Edmund interrupted angrily, "Don't stop her. Let her show the evidence!
"If I don't know what I'm being accused of, I won't let this go!"
Katie added, "Don't stop me. This is too big to hide."
Isaac looked coldly.
Indeed, this couldn't be hidden for long. Even if he stopped Katie now, Edmund would see it sooner or later.
While Isaac was silent, Katie pulled her hand back, took out her phone, and opened a video.
She handed it to Edmund. "Take a good look. The man in the video with Kalista, is it you or not?"
Edmund's eyes widened in anger, "Are you senile? How could I possibly be with Kalista..."
Before he could finish, he saw the video.
"Nothing to say now, huh?" Katie said through gritted teeth, "Even though the man's head is blurred, I've been married to you for so many years. I don't need to see the head to know it's you!
"You shameless old beast, you even slept with your grandson's fiancée. Are you even human?
"How could you do this to Isaac? Is this how you be a grandfather?"
Katie's anger grew with every word, her tears pouring out uncontrollably.
She felt a mix of sorrow for Isaac and deep frustration for herself.
The thought that Edmund, at his age, could engage in such behavior was both humiliating and enraging.
At his age, to think he'd cheat—how disgraceful!
Edmund's hands shook violently, and the phone fell to the ground. He collapsed, looking utterly lost.
He recognized the person in the video as himself.
Although he wasn't particularly familiar with his own back, the ring and watch on that person's hand and the clothes beside him were all his!
"How could this be? I didn't do such a thing. Why is there such a video?
"I couldn't possibly do this. Is the video fake?"
Edmund's whole body trembled, his face full of disbelief and panic.

Katie cried and scolded, "You're still trying to lie!
"You're still wearing your watch and ring. It's only a matter of time before people recognize you. You've disgraced the Porter Family!
"You've also disgraced Isaac!

Edmund panted heavily, his body trembling violently.
Suddenly, his vision went black, his body stiffened, and he collapsed to the ground.
