Nora trembled as she spoke, "You plan to put Magnus under house arrest? Like a caged animal, keeping him confined for life?"
Isaac pressed his lips together for Nora still sensed it.

Her eyes reddened as she looked at Isaac and asked in a trembling voice, "If Magnus were your child, would you still want to send him away and confine him?"
Isaac said, "If he were my child, I would have broken his hand the first time he pushed Edmund, and I wouldn't have indulged him until now."
Nora fell silent.
At that moment, the car stopped at a traffic light, and Isaac turned to look at her, "You don't think I'm being so harsh on Magnus just because he's not my child, do you?"
Nora didn't say anything.

She looked down at the bite mark on her hand and said softly, "No need to go to the hospital. This minor injury can be disinfected at home."
Isaac said, "Since we're already here, let's have it checked out. We can also ask Rhys for some stomach medicine. I should have brought the medicine home for you a long time ago, but too many things have happened recently, and I forgot."
