Chapter 479: Nosebleed
Nora's heart raced, and her cheeks began to flush.
She quickly grabbed Isaac's wrist and whispered, "No, we don't have any condoms. What if I accidentally get pregnant again?"
Isaac chuckled softly, "I got a shot half a month ago. There won't be any risks anymore."
"What shot?" Nora blinked, looking puzzled.
Isaac replied, "A contraceptive shot. Rhys developed a male contraceptive shot that lasts for a year with just one injection."
Nora looked at him, momentarily at a loss for words.
She hadn't expected him to secretly get the shot.
Isaac continued to unbuckle his belt.
She pressed his hand down again, her voice even softer, "No, we're outdoors. What if someone comes by..."
Isaac interrupted her, "Don't worry, no one will come. I've got people guarding the area. No one can get in."
Nora bit her lip, her face feeling like it was on fire.
Isaac had already grabbed her arm and gently pulled her onto his body.
Nora's lips were kissed by his, and she couldn't say another word.
The evening breeze blew gently, but it couldn't dispel the heat in the air.
Nora didn't know when she returned to the tent.
She was exhausted by Isaac and fell asleep on top of him right after they finished.
When she woke up again, she was already on the soft bed inside the tent.
Isaac was wiping her body with a warm towel.
Nora half-opened her eyes, glanced around, and squinted comfortably.
Seeing her awake, Isaac put down the towel and leaned his half-naked body over her.
"No more, my legs are still weak," Nora turned her head away, her small hands pressing against his chest.
The firm and smooth feel under her hands made her squeeze a little.
His chest muscles felt so good.
Isaac said with a half-smile, "You say no, but your body is seducing me. It seems you're saying one thing but meaning another."
"I understand what you mean. I'll satisfy you."
As soon as he finished speaking, his lips covered hers.
Nora's hands were too weak to push him away.
Her body, teased by him, softened in his arms, both fearful and greedy as she accepted his invasion once again.
After a night of sex, the next day, the sun was already high in the sky when they woke up.
But the tent wasn't hot.
Nora got up, tidied herself, and walked out of the tent to see Isaac preparing breakfast.
It was two boxes of self-heating oatmeal.
"Go wash up first. Breakfast will be ready soon," Isaac said with a smile.
Nora nodded lightly.
As she washed up, she stole glances at Isaac.
He had been active all night and barely slept, yet he woke up earlier than her and was busy with things. He really had a lot of energy.
After breakfast, Isaac contacted the bodyguards to clean up the site, and he took Nora for a walk.
Nora wore a pale yellow long dress, wandering through the sea of flowers.
Isaac walked behind her, capturing the beautiful scene.
Isaac then took Nora to many places to play.
They spent a month playing outside, their relationship growing sweeter, with no intention of returning.
Until the kindergarten principal personally called Isaac, saying that Magnus had been having frequent nosebleeds over the past month.
At first, Magnus had kept it a secret, but today a teacher accidentally saw it.
After checking the recent surveillance, they found that Magnus had had unexplained nosebleeds more than ten times in the past month.
After finding out, the kindergarten principal immediately contacted Isaac, gently reminding him to take Magnus to the hospital for a check-up.
Although the recent dry and hot weather could cause nosebleeds, having more than ten nosebleeds in a month was clearly abnormal.
When Isaac took the call, Nora was right beside him.
Hearing the principal's words, her face changed dramatically, and her heart tightened.
After Isaac hung up, she said urgently, "We need to go back immediately!"
Isaac nodded, kissed her, "Alright, I'll arrange for a private jet right away. We'll fly home immediately. Don't worry too much; Magnus will be fine. It might just be the dry weather causing his blood vessels to break. He'll be okay."
Nora couldn't shake off her worry.
The reason seemed too far-fetched; she couldn't convince herself.
Isaac quickly called his subordinates to arrange for a private jet to return to Aridonia.
Nora remained anxious, and no amount of comfort from Isaac could help.
"Why did Magnus hide his discomfort? Why didn't he tell anyone? We video call him every day, and he didn't say anything," Nora's voice choked.
Isaac sighed, "He might be afraid of causing us trouble, afraid we'd worry about him, so he kept it a secret."
Nora's eyes reddened, and tears flowed, "I didn't even notice Magnus's abnormality. I'm really not a responsible mother. If I had been more attentive, I should have noticed his condition earlier."
"It's not your fault," Isaac said softly. "He deliberately hid it, and we only video call him every day. It's normal that you didn't notice. Even the people taking care of him didn't notice. How could you have?"
Despite his words, Nora was still filled with guilt.
Isaac said, "It's my fault. I always tell them to be good. Magnus is sensitive and thinks that only by not causing trouble will we love him. So he hid his discomfort."
Nora took a deep breath, "Let's not talk about this now. We'll take him to the hospital for a check-up as soon as we get back."
They didn't speak further.
The private jet quickly got clearance for the flight route.
Nora and Isaac drove to the airport immediately.
The plane flew swiftly towards Aridonia.
When the plane landed, Wesley was already waiting outside the airport with a car.
Nora and Isaac got in the car, and it headed straight to Magnus's kindergarten.
Worried about any accidents, the kindergarten principal had kept Magnus in her office with plenty of snacks and toys after noticing his possible discomfort.
Nora and Isaac went directly to the principal's office.
The kindergarten principal stood up with a smile, "Mr. Porter, you're finally here. I've had the surveillance footage of Magnus over the past month edited. If you need it, I can send it to you right away."
"If Mr. Porter thinks there's an issue with the school, I will fully cooperate with your investigation."
Many parents, after something happened to their child, often looked to blame the school, even when it wasn’t the school's fault.
That's why the principal said this.
Isaac said in a deep voice, "Send the video to my phone. I'll take Magnus now. Have the teachers keep a close eye on Soren and report any issues to me immediately."
