Chapter 477: Take Her to a Nice Place
Nora shook her head, indicating that she couldn't understand either.
She could also tell that Magnus had been lost in thought.
It seemed that Magnus had changed since the night of Isaac's car accident.
Magnus had become very different, filled with hostility and aggression towards everyone.
Magnus had hurt Edmund and Soren one after another, was hostile towards her and Isaac, and tormented everyone who took care of him, acting like a little demon.
Later, after Soren was kidnapped, Magnus's personality improved and he was no longer aggressive.
However, since then, Magnus always seemed preoccupied and extremely insecure.
Since he got injured, the situation had worsened.
Recently, Magnus had been getting a bit better.
But she still couldn't understand why Magnus had changed like this.
She and Isaac had patiently asked Magnus, but Magnus just shook his head and said nothing was wrong.
Nora sighed, "Maybe he feels too insecure. I haven't been around them for long periods before, and later Mortimer took them back without my consent."
"For personal reasons, I didn't want them to stay, so they thought I didn't like them and wanted to abandon them."
"Soren doesn't hold grudges. Once things are resolved, she doesn't dwell on them."
"But Magnus is more sensitive and always worries that I will send him away again, thinking I don't love him enough."
Isaac hugged her a little tighter and said softly, "It's okay. We'll give them more love from now on. Love can resolve everything."
"If a month isn't enough, then a year. If a year isn't enough, then ten years. Growing up in a loving environment will definitely make him feel secure."
"We have plenty of time. We can take it slow, no rush."
Nora nodded gently and rested her face on his chest.
Yes, time was the best healer. They could take it slow.
Isaac chose a travel destination not far away, a coastal city within the country.
They could not only see the sea but also enjoy many amusement facilities and hike to watch the sunrise and sunset.
When they got off the plane, it was already five in the evening.
After getting off the plane, Nora immediately made a video call to Magnus and Soren.
Magnus answered the video call, and his masked face appeared on the screen, with only a pair of bright eyes curiously staring at the phone screen.
Soren squeezed in front of the screen with a silly smile, "Mommy, look at me, I'm here too!"
Nora chuckled, "I see you. Don't push Magnus. Magnus is about to be pushed off the chair by you."
Soren settled down a bit but couldn't help but lean his little head towards the phone.
"Aren't you at home?" Nora noticed that their background wasn't at home; it looked like they were at The Porter Manor.
Beside her, Isaac voiced, "Sorry, I forgot to tell you. I sent them back to The Porter Manor to stay with Grandpa for a while. Grandpa misses them too."
Nora frowned.
But before she could speak, Isaac said, "Don't worry. I specifically instructed the servants to keep an eye on Magnus and not let him take off his mask. I also told Grandpa not to remove Magnus's mask."
Nora had nothing more to say.
On the other end of the call, Magnus said seriously, "Mommy, you and Daddy have fun outside. I'll be good and won't push Great-Grandpa."
Nora suddenly felt like crying.
Magnus had grown up.
"Good boy. I'll come back as soon as possible. If you miss me, just call me," Nora said, choking up.
Magnus said, "Mommy, don't rush back. Come back when you're tired of playing."
Soren added, "Yes, Mommy, don't rush back. We have Great-Grandpa and many people with us. You don't have to worry about us!"
Nora was very touched. After talking to them for a while, she asked them to give the phone to Edmund.
Since Edmund and Isaac had hidden the fact that Soren was kidnapped from her, Edmund had felt guilty and didn't dare to see her. They hadn't seen each other for a while.
"Nora, I'm sorry," Edmund said, full of guilt as soon as he took the phone.
"You didn't do anything wrong. You did it for my good. I don't blame you, Grandpa," Nora interrupted Edmund with a smile.
Edmund's eyes turned red, and his hands trembled slightly with excitement.
Nora smiled, "Grandpa, Soren is a bit naughty. Please bear with her."
Edmund laughed, "It's good for kids to be lively. Your grandma is at the church, and you and Isaac don't live with me. I'm bored alone."
"With them making noise at home, it feels like a home. I'm happy about it. I wish they could stay with me forever, haha."
Nora chuckled, "As long as Grandpa doesn't mind."
They chatted for a bit more.
Edmund looked at Isaac, who was sitting next to Nora, showing only half of his body, and said sternly, "Isaac, you must take good care of Nora. Don't let her get hurt or feel wronged, or I won't forgive you!"
Isaac said helplessly, "Grandpa, I know."
Nora said, "Grandpa, we need to go to the hotel now. We'll call you next time."
Edmund replied, "Go ahead. Have fun outside and don't worry about things at home. I'll take care of the company matters. Isaac, don't stay up late working. If you're going to play, then give it your all."
After Edmund hung up, Nora put away her phone.
Isaac held her hand and walked out of the airport, "Let's go. The car is waiting outside. We'll go to the hotel first."
Nora walked beside him, looking at her hand held in his large hand, feeling sweet inside, and a faint smile appeared on her lips.
After arriving at the hotel, they rested for a while, and then Isaac started packing.
Nora asked in confusion, "Can't we pack tomorrow?"
Isaac explained, "We're going out later. We won't have time tomorrow."
Nora asked in confusion, "It's so late, and we're still going out?"
Isaac raised an eyebrow, "We're going camping tonight. We have to leave at night."
"I've chosen a great place and had it reserved in advance. It'll be just the two of us."
"Pack up, let's go!"
Seeing Isaac so enthusiastic, Nora was very curious about the place Isaac had chosen.
She followed Isaac out.
Isaac drove for over an hour before finally stopping the car.
After parking, Isaac carried the luggage in one hand and held Nora's hand in the other, continuing to walk forward.
