Chapter 292 Can't Wait Any Longer, Time to Take Action
The group of men then repeatedly apologized to Isaac and Mortimer. And they also apologized to Nora.
Although Nora felt that the punishment was a bit too much, she didn't let her sympathy overflow and beg for them.
When it comes to children, she has always been ruthless. Moreover, if this matter is not dealt with seriously, more similar incidents will happen in the future.
Those people left quickly.
The principal nervously walked up to Isaac and asked, "Do we need to deal with their children?"
Isaac smirked and said, "There's no need to involve the children in the adults' matters. As long as they don't make mistakes, let them stay. Anyway, it won't be long before they take their children away themselves."
The principal was shocked.
He thought dealing with those women would solve the problem, but he didn't expect Isaac to be so ruthless.
It was clear that Isaac valued his wife and children very much.
In the future, he must ensure that the teachers are careful not to let those two children be wronged or bullied.
Isaac, Mortimer, and Nora left the school.
At the entrance, both men stopped and turned to look at Nora.
Nora said, "I'll take a cab home. You guys go ahead."
Mortimer said, "I happen to want to take a walk. I'll walk with you."
Isaac, not to be outdone, said, "I haven't walked in a long time. I want to take a walk too."
Nora said helplessly, "Can you guys stop following me?"
They didn't say anything.
But the answer was an obvious no.
Nora was silent for a moment, then looked at Isaac and said, "You take me."
Isaac's eyes lit up, and he gave Mortimer a triumphant look.
Mortimer's eyes darkened slightly, but the look quickly disappeared.
Nora pretended not to see and calmly got into Isaac's car. She had signed a contract with Isaac that she couldn't leave him and already clearly rejected Mortimer. So, she decided to use Isaac to make him give up completely.
Even though Mortimer had said he would only treat her as a friend in the future, she was still worried.
To be safe, she wanted Mortimer to see her attitude.
After Nora got in the car, Isaac also got in. He had a constant smile on his face. "Do you want to go to the store or home?" He asked as he started the car.
Nora turned her head to look at him.
His injuries hadn't fully healed, and he was already driving. This was not only bad for his health but also dangerous.
"Take me to the driving school. I want to learn to drive," Nora said.
When she was with Isaac before, Isaac said that as long as he was around, he would always drive. Even if he didn't have time, he would arrange a driver for her. So, she never learned to drive.
But now she realized that not knowing how to drive was really inconvenient.
Isaac paused and said, "I'll teach you to drive. Once you get the hang of it, you can sign up for the driving test."
Nora frowned, somewhat unwilling.
Isaac smirked and said, "Many driving school instructors have bad tempers and like to scold people. Are you sure you want to go?"
Nora's mouth twitched. "But your injuries haven't healed yet."
Isaac said, "It's okay. The wounds have healed. As long as I don't do any strenuous activities, the wounds won't reopen."
Nora was silent for a moment and finally agreed to Isaac's proposal.
Isaac immediately contacted his subordinates and had them set up a practice driving area.
He then drove Nora there directly.
His subordinates were very efficient.
By the time they arrived, the practice area was already set up.
Isaac also had a special training car prepared, making it safer to practice.
Nora sat in the driver's seat, and Isaac sat in the passenger seat, patiently teaching her.
His voice was low and magnetic, especially when he was serious.
Listening to his voice, Nora blushed.
"What are you thinking? Focus." Isaac suddenly chuckled and tapped her forehead, his doting voice making Nora's heart skip a beat.
She took a deep breath, quickly shaking off her distracting thoughts, and focused on the road ahead.
For the next week, Isaac accompanied her to practice driving every day.
Nora felt a bit embarrassed. She advised him, "Don't you need to go to the company? I've basically got the hang of it. I can practice on my own. You don't need to accompany me every day."
Isaac laughed and said, "Honey, I'm still recovering from my injuries. I'm so seriously injured, and you still want me to go to work?"
Nora didn't say anything.
Isaac patted her head. "Don't worry, someone is handling the company's affairs. Wesley brings me the documents I need to review every day. The company won't stop running without me."
Nora still remained silence.. She had a natural talent for driving and became quite proficient within a week.
Isaac took her to the driving school to sign up for the test.
Before the test, Nora continued to practice every day to become even more skilled.
The day of the driving test arrived in the blink of an eye.
She was a bit nervous. But her skills were solid, and she completed everything perfectly.
Successfully obtaining her driver's license, Nora was overjoyed.
Isaac walked up to her with a bouquet of flowers. "Congratulations, you finally got your driver's license."
"Thank you." Nora accepted the flowers he handed over graciously.
Inside the bouquet was a car key.
She picked it up and saw it was a brand-new Maybach key. Then she looked at him in shock.
Isaac chuckled, "You got your driver's license. It's not too much to give you a car, right?"
Nora was silent for a few seconds, then quietly accepted the car key. "Thank you again."
Isaac was in a great mood, happier than the person receiving the gift. "Let's go pick up the kids."
"Got it," Nora replied.
Behind them, other students were enviously discussing.
"That's so extravagant, giving a Maybach just like that. Is this what rich people's love is like?"
"Not only rich but also good-looking. How do they get all the good things? So envious!"
Nora and Isaac picked up the kids from kindergarten. On the way back, Magnus seemed preoccupied. He couldn't wait any longer, he had to take action.
