Chapter 92 He's the Outsider

At the entrance of the mansion.

Kalista was so angry that her expression was twisted, angrily pounding on the door.

Kalista demanded, "Open the door for me and let me in!"

She remarked, "This is my fiancé's home, and it's my home too. What right do you have to kick me out?"

She added, "Nora, open the door quickly!"

Kalista was almost going crazy with anger.

But no matter how she called or knocked on the door, there was no response from inside.

She was so angry that she gritted her teeth and trembled all over.

Kalista declared, "You just wait, I won't let this go, I will seek revenge! I'll find a man to support me. Isaac will never allow you to bully me in his home!"

Kalista tried to suppress her anger, took out her phone from her pocket, and dialed Isaac's number.

However, no one answered when she called.

She called a dozen times in a row, but still no answer.

Kalista was frustrated and even felt like smashing her phone.

She said, angrily, "What is Isaac doing? Why isn't he answering my calls?"

She didn't give up and ran to the study directly below, shouting loudly, "Isaac, come out! Nora and her boyfriend kicked me out of the mansion. Come out and help me fight back!"

However, she shouted until her throat was hoarse, but there was still no response.

Kalista cried in grievance.

It was almost dawn, and the weather was getting colder.

She was shivering in her thin clothes.

The mansion was right in front of her, but she couldn't get in.

In the end, with a heart full of anger, she turned and left.

Because she had been calling all night, her phone ran out of battery, and she had no cash on her to take a cab.

Finally, she walked for nearly three hours to get back to her place.

The next morning.

Steve left at six o'clock.

Nora didn't get up until eight o'clock.

When she went downstairs, she happened to meet Isaac in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

Since Isaac had sent away all the servants in the mansion, there was no one to do the housework or make breakfast.

Isaac had to do it himself.

Nora glanced at the broken vase in the living room, still lying on the floor.

"Morning," Nora greeted Isaac proactively.

But Isaac just gave her a cold glance and ignored her.

Nora didn't mind.

During the three years of their marriage, he had been even more indifferent to her.

Nora fetched a broom and cleaned up the broken vase in the living room.

By that time, Isaac had finished making breakfast and set it on the table.

It was breakfast for two.

He probably didn't know that Kalista had been kicked out, so he made an extra portion for her.

Nora composed herself and said, "The vase was broken by Steve last night. I'll ask Wesley how much those vases were worth and compensate him."

Isaac responded indifferently without asking for details about the vase incident.

Nora headed towards the entrance to go out.

"Where are you going?" Isaac finally spoke, his deep voice tinged with a hint of dissatisfaction.

"I'm going to the store," Nora replied.

"Finish breakfast before you go," Isaac said.

Nora looked puzzled, glancing at the breakfast for two on the table.

"You made breakfast for me?" Nora asked.

"Otherwise? Should I eat two portions alone?" Isaac retorted.

Nora instinctively said, "Isn't the other portion for Kalista?"

Isaac furrowed his brow in annoyance, and said, "Why would I make breakfast for her?"

Nora became even more puzzled, looked at him, and asked, "Then why did you make breakfast for me?"

Isaac casually replied, "Don't get ahead of yourself. I didn't make breakfast for you; I made it for my child, so he wouldn't starve because of you!"

Nora was speechless.

"Aren't you coming to eat? Do I need to feed you?" Isaac urged impatiently.

Nora composed herself and sat down at the table.

Looking at the breakfast on the table, she couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness.

These were all the things she used to enjoy.

She liked eating from street vendors, but Isaac thought those places were unsanitary, so he learned to cook and made them at home for her.

Otherwise, with the the Porter Family's living conditions, these foods would never have made it to the the Porter Family table.

She was surprised that after all these years, he still remembered her tastes.

She could once again enjoy Isaac's care, all because of the child in her belly.

Nora composed herself and quietly started eating breakfast.

The breakfast was a bit much, but she finished it all.

Isaac remained expressionless.

But watching her enjoy the meal, he felt inexplicably satisfied.

After breakfast, Isaac and Nora left together, preparing to personally take her to the store.

But as soon as they opened the mansion's door, a figure rushed over and threw herself into Isaac's arms.

"Isaac, I finally see you. Do you know how much I suffered last night?" Kalista stated as she hugged Isaac tightly, crying heartbreakingly.

After returning home last night, she hadn't slept all night out of anger.

Early this morning, she drove over there and waited, hoping to meet Isaac when he left so she could talk to him.

She arrived at seven o'clock.

It was now eight-thirty, a full hour and a half of waiting.

Isaac's body stiffened slightly.

With a stern face, he pushed Kalista away and asked, "What's going on?"

Kalista immediately exaggeratedly recounted what happened last night to Isaac.

She began, "Isaac, you must help me fight back. I did nothing wrong, but Nora and her boyfriend teamed up to bully me and kick me out of your territory. They not only humiliated me but also disrespected you. You must not let them get away with it!"

Kalista continued, "Isaac, you must drive them away. Don't let them stay here. Otherwise, they might become so arrogant as to kick you out in the future!"

Isaac looked at Nora, and asked, "Do you have anything to say?"

Nora replied, "There's nothing to say. Just listen to her and kick me out."

Kalista was ecstatic.

She thought Nora, that despicable woman, would try to defend herself, but she didn't even explain.

Kalista insisted, "Isaac, see, she admitted to bullying me. You better make her leave right away!"

Isaac looked at Nora and sneered, "Want to leave? You better drop that idea now. I won't let you leave until you give birth to the child. If you dare to leave, I will make everyone you know pay for your debts!"

Nora had become numb to these words and didn't react much.

"Isaac!" Kalista was furious, and said, "If you don't drive her away, am I supposed to suffer for no reason? You can ignore Nora, but you must not let her arrogant boyfriend off the hook!"

Isaac coldly said, "I've told you before, I can't do anything to him. My grandmother will protect him."

"How is that possible? You're her real grandson. How could she protect an outsider instead of helping you?" Kalista exclaimed.

Isaac coldly replied, "If you keep making a scene, I'll become an outsider."
