Chapter 488: When is the Wedding?
Isaac drove to the villa.
Returning here again, Amara subconsciously curled her lips, a hint of pride and arrogance in her eyes.
She had finally returned here.
In the competition for Isaac, she had ultimately won.
It was said that although Liora was still paralyzed in bed, unable to control her bodily functions, and constantly soiling the bed, her hands could move now, and she spent her days playing on her phone to pass the time.
Amara curled her lips, secretly took a photo, and sent it to her dear sister.
[Liora, does this place look familiar? I really miss the days when we lived here together. It's a pity you're paralyzed now, otherwise, I would have asked Isaac to let you move in so we could keep each other company.]
Despite winning the battle against Liora and causing her to be paralyzed, Amara had not forgiven Liora and still hated her.
Whenever she had the chance, she would deliberately provoke Liora.
Every time, Liora would be furious.
This time was no exception.
Soon, Liora's curses came like bullets, one after another, along with many voice messages.
Amara curled her lips and deleted all of Liora's curses without listening to the voice messages.
She just wanted to provoke Liora, not argue with her.
Amara followed Isaac into the villa.
Mark came up to them, "Mr. Porter, you're back? You didn't give us a heads-up, so the kitchen didn't prepare dinner. Would you like to dine here? I can have them whip something up for you right away."
Isaac said, "I won't be eating here. I'll be leaving soon. Prepare a quiet room on the second floor for her, arrange for someone to take care of her daily needs, and find a family doctor and nutritionist to take care of her and the baby."
Only then did Mark notice Amara following Isaac, a look of shock and surprise in his eyes.
Why had Isaac brought Amara back again?
Take care of Amara and her baby?
Amara was pregnant?
Could it be that Amara was carrying Isaac's baby?
Mark thought it was likely.
If Amara were carrying someone else's baby, how could Isaac bring her back to his home and instruct him to take care of her baby?
But he couldn't understand how Isaac could have slept with Amara.
Wasn't Isaac with Nora now?
Now that Amara was pregnant, could Isaac and Nora still be together?
Countless thoughts flashed through Mark's mind, but he finally responded respectfully, "Understood."
Isaac added, "Don't let her go to the third floor."
Magnus was living on the third floor now, and no outsiders were allowed to disturb him.
Isaac continued, "Also, assign a few more bodyguards to follow Magnus 24/7 to ensure his safety. No one is allowed to harm him."
"If anyone tries to harm him, beat them to death, even if it's her."
As he spoke, Isaac glanced at Amara, his eyes full of warning.
He had decided to let Amara have this baby for the sake of his and Nora's child.
If Amara dared to harm his and Nora's child, he wouldn't show her any mercy.
Amara was startled by his gaze and felt a bit aggrieved, "Isaac, why are you so harsh on me? Do I look like someone who would bully a child?"
"When Magnus was at The Hansen Mansion, I even gave him snacks. I'm not like Liora, who would harm a defenseless child."
This was true. Although she could be a bit willful at times, she had never bullied a child.
When she learned that her mother had originally planned for Liora to marry Isaac, she never thought of taking it out on a child.
She wasn't a good person, but she wasn't as unscrupulous as Liora.
Isaac said coldly, "You better be."
Amara promised, "Isaac, don't worry. I mean what I say. When we get married, I'll treat him as my own!"
After all, Magnus was disabled, couldn't speak, and couldn't hear.
She didn't need to take care of him. If she didn't like him, she just wouldn't interact with him.
There was no need to harm a useless person and risk Isaac's displeasure.
She wasn't worried that keeping Magnus around would threaten her child.
A useless person posed no threat.
Amara shyly asked, "Isaac, when do you plan to marry me? I don't want our baby to be born out of wedlock."
Her biggest wish was to marry Isaac.
She got pregnant with this baby to marry Isaac.
Isaac perfunctorily said, "We'll talk about it after the baby is born. You're pregnant now, and a wedding would be too tiring and could affect the baby."
Amara immediately said, "It won't. I'm very healthy and can handle the wedding."
Isaac's face darkened, full of coldness.
Mark, standing nearby, thoughtfully provided an excuse for Isaac, "Ms. Hansen, you're already showing. It wouldn't look good in a wedding dress."
"Moreover, preparing for a wedding takes time. By the time everything is ready, your belly will be even bigger, and the dress you try on now won't fit then."
"Such an important event as a wedding, don't you want it to be grand and for you to look beautiful?"
The eagerness on Amara's face immediately disappeared.
Her wedding must not be perfunctory! It had to be grand!
Her wedding had to be grand enough to make all women envious!
And the grander the wedding, the more time it would take to prepare, often several months.
By then, her belly would be too big to hide, and she wouldn't look good in a wedding dress.
A wedding only happened once in a lifetime, and she had to look beautiful!
Amara bit her lip and said disappointedly, "Alright, then we'll get married after the baby is born."
Isaac lowered his eyes.
He had never agreed to marry her.
He had only agreed to let her have the baby.
Isaac said no more and went upstairs.
He wanted to check on Magnus.
Mark instructed the servants to prepare a room on the second floor and then ran after Isaac.
Seeing that Amara hadn't followed and was excitedly taking selfies in the living room, Mark lowered his voice and asked Isaac, "Mr. Porter, if you're worried about Ms. Hansen harming Mr. Magnus, why bring her here?"
Isaac had more than one villa.
He could have taken Amara to another villa, avoiding the risk of her harming Magnus.
Isaac's eyes darkened, "The security here is better, and no accidents will happen."
Amara's baby was Magnus's only hope, and no accidents could be allowed.
After careful consideration, he decided to bring her here.
He had a family doctor here, and the neighboring villa had simple medical equipment.
If Amara had an accident, they could arrange for immediate rescue.
In other places, they didn't have such good facilities, and if something happened to Amara, they would have to go to the hospital.
And he liked peace and quiet, and all his residences were not close to hospitals.
If Amara stayed elsewhere and had an accident, taking her to the hospital would waste a lot of time.
