Chapter 523 Nora, Let's Get a Divorce.

Isaac called, but the prompt indicated the other party was on another call.

He waited a while and called again, but the prompt indicated the other party was out of the service area.

He waited a bit longer and called again, but the prompt indicated the number was incorrect.

Isaac finally realized that Nora had blocked his number!

Isaac put away his phone and said, "Nora isn't answering my calls. I'll go to her house to find her."

"I'll go with you!" Amara immediately said.

Isaac refused with a stern face, "No, you are not allowed to go near her house, not now, not ever."

"I told you, you are not to disturb her."

"Even if I divorce her, you are not to disturb her!"

"If I find out you secretly went to see her, even if you threaten me with the child in your belly, it won't work. No one will be able to protect you!"

Isaac's eyes were full of warning.

Amara was trembling with anger.

Isaac was actually threatening her for Nora!

Even after the divorce, he couldn't let go of his feelings for Nora?

Amara couldn't understand what was so good about Nora that made him so obsessed with her.

Amara took a deep breath, suppressed her dissatisfaction, and forced a smile, "Isaac, what are you talking about? How could I possibly go and bother Nora? Am I that kind of person?"

"Since you don't want me to go with you, I won't. I'll wait for you at the courthouse."

Isaac pulled his hand back with a cold face and strode out.

After Isaac left, the fake smile on her face disappeared, replaced by anger and resentment.

"Nora! You really have some tricks. A woman with such an ordinary background managed to captivate Isaac so completely that I can't win him over no matter how hard I try!"

"But this is just the beginning. I won't lose. I will definitely win Isaac's heart!"

"You must have won Isaac's heart by having his child."

"I also have Isaac's child. Once I give birth, I believe Isaac will turn his heart toward me."

"My child will definitely be more beautiful and smarter than the one Nora had. Isaac will definitely love my child more."

"As long as Isaac starts focusing on my child, he will naturally pay more attention to me, notice my good qualities, and forget about Nora."

Her muttering seemed like self-hypnosis.

After she finished, her face looked much better, and her eyes were filled with determination.

She walked out of the villa, called a bodyguard to act as a driver, and headed to the courthouse.

She wanted to see Isaac and Nora finalize their divorce with her own eyes.

She wouldn't be at ease unless she saw it herself.

She was afraid that Isaac was just brushing her off again!

Isaac drove to Nora's apartment complex.

After going upstairs, he entered the password on the door's keypad.

But the door didn't open; instead, it beeped with an incorrect password alert.

Isaac's face stiffened, and his heart ached.

Incorrect password? Nora changed the password?

He let out a bitter laugh.

Nora must have been extremely disappointed after seeing him with Amara at the hospital and learning that Amara was pregnant with his child. She didn't want him to come looking for her anymore.

It was normal for her to change the door lock password, but he couldn't accept it.

He took a deep breath, suppressed the heaviness in his heart, and pressed the doorbell.

Soon, the door opened. It was Magnus who opened the door.

Magnus looked up at him with wide eyes.

"Daddy," Magnus called out in a sweet, childlike voice.

Isaac's heart softened instantly. He squatted down and picked him up, "Magnus, how have you been these past few days?"

The last time he saw Nora and Magnus at the hospital, Magnus had a bandage on his head. Now the bandage was off, and the wound near his hairline was almost invisible.

Magnus said, "I'm okay."

"Daddy, why haven't you come to see us for so many days? Soren and I wanted Mommy to contact you, but she gets upset whenever she hears your name, so we didn't dare mention it."

"Daddy, did you and Mommy have a fight?"

Isaac opened his mouth but didn't know how to answer.

At that moment, Nora's voice came from the kitchen, "Magnus, who is it? Make sure you know who it is before opening the door. Don't open the door for strangers."

Magnus looked towards the kitchen and happily replied, "Mommy, it's Daddy!"

The sound of dishes crashing to the floor came from the kitchen.

Isaac wanted to stop Magnus, but it was too late.

He helplessly put Magnus down, patted his little head, and said, "You go play. I need to talk to your mommy."

Magnus looked at him reluctantly for a moment but eventually nodded obediently and ran to the living room to practice writing.

Isaac, feeling nervous, walked towards the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Nora was crouching on the floor, picking up the broken pieces of dishes.

Isaac silently walked in, squatted down opposite her, and started picking up the pieces without saying a word.

When Nora saw him come in, she immediately stood up and took a few steps back, putting distance between them.

It was as if he was something dirty, and she didn't want to be near him.

Isaac's hand paused, and a stabbing pain shot through his heart.

Nora's series of actions hurt him deeply, but his moment of distraction was just fleeting.

He quickly continued picking up the pieces on the floor.

After picking up the pieces, he stood up, got a broom, and swept up the smaller fragments.

After doing all this, he finally stopped in front of Nora, looking at her with intense eyes.

His eyes were filled with reluctance, guilt, and deep pain.

He didn't want a divorce. He didn't want to leave her. He didn't want to hurt her. But everything he didn't want to happen had happened.

"You already have a new lover. What are you doing here?" Nora asked coldly.

Amara was already pregnant with his child and living in his house. Why was he still coming to bother her? She wouldn't entangle with him knowing he had a lover.

Isaac pressed his lips tightly together, struggling to voice the words that lingered on the tip of his tongue. He just kept looking at her with intense eyes.

It was as if he could never get enough of looking at her.

His eyes were full of deep affection and longing.

Nora felt a wave of disgust as she looked at his eyes.

"If you have nothing to say, then please leave. You're not welcome here, and I don't want to see you again!" Nora said impatiently.

She was driving him away. She was blatantly driving him away. It wasn't that she didn't feel hurt, but more than that, she felt repulsed.

He already had a lover outside and even had a child. Who was he pretending to be deeply in love with now?

Isaac finally spoke with difficulty, his voice hoarse and dry, "Nora, let's get a divorce."
