Chapter 509: Discovered Another Magnus
Soren ran very fast.
Soon she reached the third floor and arrived at Isaac's bedroom door.
Soren stood on tiptoe, raised her little hands, and forcefully twisted the doorknob.
The door opened, and it was pitch black inside.
The curtains were drawn, and the lights were off.
Soren was a little afraid of the dark, but she mustered up her courage and walked in, closing the door behind her.
She didn't turn on the light but instead ran to the window with her short legs, opened the curtain a little, and let the light from outside come in.
Although she only opened a small gap, the light that came in was enough to dispel the darkness in the room, and she could roughly see the situation inside.
Soren looked around the room, finally fixing her gaze on the unmade bed.
The bed was slightly raised, as if someone was lying there.
Soren immediately walked to the bedside with her short legs.
The raised part was in the middle of the bed, and her hands were too short to reach it, so she took off her shoes and climbed onto the bed, slowly pulling back the covers.
As she pulled back the covers, a furry little head appeared first, followed by a familiar face.
Soren saw the face and widened her eyes in surprise.
"Magnus?"
Soren called out a bit loudly, but the person on the bed just lay there, eyes shut tight, showing no sign of waking up.
Soren reached out and grabbed his arm, shaking it vigorously.
As she shook him, she called out in a sweet childlike voice, "Magnus, wake up! Why did you come to Daddy's house?"
Magnus was shaken awake.
He opened his eyes in confusion.
As soon as Magnus opened his eyes, he saw a strange little girl sitting next to him, looking at him with big, watery eyes.
Magnus immediately showed a startled expression and instinctively pushed her away.
Soren was caught off guard and fell onto the bed.
She frowned, sitting up and complaining, "Magnus, why did you push me?"
Magnus had also sat up, shrinking to the head of the bed, looking at Soren with a puzzled and wary expression.
Soren sat up.
She didn't mind Magnus pushing her and asked curiously, "Magnus, when did you come to Daddy's house and sleep in Daddy's bed?"
Magnus tilted his head, looking at Soren in confusion.
He couldn't hear and didn't know what she was saying.
However, this little girl seemed oddly familiar and stirred a strange warmth in his heart. Although she had rudely interrupted his sleep, he couldn't bring himself to dislike her.
"Magnus, why are you looking at me like that? I'm asking you a question, why aren't you answering?" Soren asked, feeling frustrated.
Magnus tilted his head to the other side, still just staring at her without speaking.
Soren blinked and asked, "Magnus, are you afraid I couldn't check it out alone, so you came too?"
She immediately moved closer to Magnus, grabbed his hand, and asked excitedly, "So, Magnus, did you find out? After you came into Daddy's room, did you see the person hiding inside?"
Magnus still just looked at her curiously, not saying a word.
"Magnus, what's wrong with you? I've said so much, why aren't you responding? Tell me, where is the person Daddy is hiding in the room?" Soren asked anxiously.
Magnus still showed no reaction.
Soren was both anxious and angry, "Magnus, answer me!"
Magnus looked puzzled, why was the little girl suddenly angry?
At this moment, Mark's voice came from outside the door.
"Ms. Soren Foster, where did you go? You look around and see where Ms. Soren Foster went."
Soren nervously glanced at the door, covering her mouth with her little hands.
Why did Mark come up to find her so quickly?
She hadn't found the person her Daddy was hiding in the room yet!
If she was taken out by Mark now, it would be difficult to sneak in again in the future.
Soren moved closer to Magnus and whispered to him, "Magnus, did you find out? If we don't find out today, it will be hard to have another chance to investigate!"
Magnus still showed no reaction, just looking at her curiously.
Soren angrily pinched Magnus's cheeks, pulling his mouth wide, and said angrily, "Say something!"
She didn't wait for Magnus to speak but instead waited for Mark to open the door.
"Ms. Soren Foster, why did you come here? Come downstairs with me quickly. If Mr. Porter finds out, he will be angry!"
Mark saw Soren and, with a look of horror, quickly ran to the bed, picked her up, helped her put on her shoes, and then led her out.
Soren tilted her head in confusion.
Why was Mark only taking her and not Magnus?
Soren couldn't figure it out but didn't question it.
Magnus could stay and continue investigating!
Maybe Mark was just too old, only seeing her and ignoring Magnus sitting at the head of the bed.
Soren obediently followed Mark back to the first floor.
Mark handed Soren a glass of watermelon juice.
"Ms. Soren Foster, your watermelon juice is ready. Drink it first, and I'll make more if it's not enough."
"Thank you, Mark." Soren politely took the glass.
Mark smiled kindly, "Ms. Soren Foster, drink up. I'll call Mr. Porter and see if he can come back today."
Soren refused, "Mark, you don't need to tell Daddy. I'll leave soon and won't disturb his work."
Mark agreed with a smile.
But he still walked away and quietly called Isaac.
"Mr. Porter, Ms. Soren Foster was brought to the villa by the traffic police again." As soon as the call connected, Mark reported truthfully, "And Ms. Soren Foster sneaked up to the third floor and into your room while I wasn't looking."
In the office of the Porter Group, Isaac's face darkened upon hearing Mark's report, and his heart tightened. He asked in a deep voice, "Did she see Magnus?"
Mark said with a tearful voice, "Yes, when I found Ms. Soren Foster, she was sitting on the bed, staring at Mr. Magnus Foster."
Isaac's heart tightened.
Soren had seen Magnus, so she must have discovered that there were two Magnuses.
If she went back and told Nora, Nora would know too.
His mood inexplicably became irritable, and he said in a deep voice, "Keep an eye on Soren, I'm coming back now!"
Mark replied, "Ms. Soren Foster said she would leave soon and told me not to contact you, so as not to disturb your work."
Isaac ordered, "Keep an eye on her, don't let her leave, I'm coming back now."
He needed to talk to Soren and ask her to keep the secret and not tell Nora about the two Magnuses!
