Chapter 268 Just Write Us Down as the Parents

The next day, the park was buzzing with families, so they decided to hold some parent-child competitions.

There was a cooking contest where parents helped their kids whip up simple dishes.

They also had some fun parent-child sports events, like relay races.

Nora and Isaac jumped into all of them with their kids.

Magnus and Soren were having a blast, grinning from ear to ear.

Nora was having a great time too.

With Isaac around, they snagged first place in every event and bagged a bunch of prizes.

Magnus and Soren looked up to Isaac with stars in their eyes.

Soren even whispered to Nora, "Uncle Isaac is awesome! He can do everything. If he were our dad, other kids would be so jealous!"

Magnus nodded in agreement.

Nora's heart skipped a beat. She gave a nervous laugh, not sure what to say.

After two days, they still hadn't tried all the activities.

But Isaac had to get back to work, so they had to head home and promised to come back next time.

Once they got back, Nora started looking into kindergartens for Magnus and Soren.

When Edmund heard about it, he suggested a few he thought were good.

Nora checked them out. She knew all those kindergartens.

They were all top-notch, elite places. But they weren't easy to get into.

Even if you could pay the tuition, they wouldn't take your kid unless the parents could pass a financial verification.

The cheapest one still required at least a billion dollars in assets.

The more exclusive ones needed not just money but also status.

The teachers there were top-tier, and the services were top-notch too.

But no matter how great they were, Nora couldn't afford to send her kids there.

She set aside Edmund's list and started looking at other kindergartens, checking online for any bad reviews.

That evening, when Isaac came to pick her up, he saw the list she had set aside.

He glanced at it and pointed to one name, saying, "Grand Kindergarten is pretty good. I went there when I was a kid. The teachers are better than many university professors, and the services and security are excellent. You should go with this one."

Nora said, "Edmund sent that list. I'm not considering any of those kindergartens."

Isaac frowned and asked, "Why not? Don't you trust his judgment?"

Nora shook her head. "It's not that. I just don't meet the standards. I can't send Magnus and Soren there. I checked. The kindergarten with the lowest requirements on the list still needs parents to have at least a billion dollars in assets. I don't qualify."

Isaac asked, "Which one are you thinking about?"

Nora said, "There's one called Sunshine Kindergarten, and it's close to where I live."

Isaac glanced at it. "The conditions are pretty poor. Are you sure?"

Nora felt really stuck. She wanted to pick a good kindergarten for the kids, but she just couldn't afford it.

Isaac said, "Let's go with Grand Kindergarten. I'll make sure they get in."

Nora opened her mouth but didn't argue, "Okay, thank you."

Even though she didn't want to bother Isaac, she didn't want to hold back Magnus and Soren either.

She thought to herself, after all, Magnus and Soren are his kids too. He's just helping his own children, so she didn't owe him any favors!

Isaac said, "Aren't you going to show some appreciation?"

Nora was quiet for a moment and then said, "I'll treat you to dinner or buy you a gift."

Isaac shook his head. "That's not what I want."

Nora frowned. "Then what do you want?"

Isaac leaned close to her ear, his voice low and teasing. "You know what I want. It's always been you."

Nora's face turned bright red. "You're so shameless!"

Ever since she lost that bet and started calling him honey, he had become more and more bold.

When she gave him a goodnight kiss, he would always pull her in and kiss her for a long time.

And Isaac was particularly sneaky, choosing to kiss her in front of Magnus and Soren. He knew she was afraid of waking the kids and didn't dare to yell at him.

Isaac smirked and said, "Since you called me shameless, wouldn't it be a waste if I didn't do something shameless?"

Nora immediately tried to get up, but it was too late.

Isaac grabbed her wrist and gently pulled her onto his lap.

The next second, his lips were on hers.

Nora glared at him angrily.

But as soon as she met his affectionate eyes, she chickened out and quickly closed her eyes.

"Oh no, Uncle Isaac is kissing Mommy again. Magnus, let's go play for a while. Edmund said if we see Isaac kissing Mommy, we shouldn't disturb them!"

Soren's cute, childish voice suddenly came.

Then a series of footsteps moved away.

Nora froze.

Isaac released her lips and buried his face in her neck, laughing softly.

Nora angrily said, "Isaac..."

Isaac lightly bit her neck and threatened in a hoarse voice, "If you keep forgetting to call me 'honey', I'll kiss you again."

Nora said, "Honey."

Isaac smiled happily. "I'm here. Do you have something to say, honey?"

Nora's expression changed unpredictably.

Calling him honey made it impossible to scold him. Now, anything she said would sound like flirting.

"Let go of me. I'm ready to go back."

Isaac let her go.

"Consider that kiss as a thank you. I'll take care of Magnus and Soren's kindergarten."

Nora's anger instantly disappeared.

Isaac was very efficient.

Three days later, he had completed all the enrollment procedures for Magnus and Soren.

He then brought a few forms to Nora, "Fill out these forms, and take them for an entrance assessment tomorrow. They can start next week."

Nora nodded.

As she looked at to the sections for the children's father and mother, she paused.

She had always told Isaac that Magnus and Soren were her friend's children.

But that was a made-up story.

How should she fill out this form now?

Make up a name?

At this moment, Isaac's deep voice came from beside her. "Just write us as the parents."

Nora froze and looked at Isaac in shock. "Why write us?"

Did he know something?

Nora's heart pounded, and a sense of panic spread in her heart.
