Nora was taken aback for a moment and immediately said, "How could I ever despise you? How could I ever abandon you?"

"I hated you all so much at the time. When Uncle Mortimer told me to poison Magnus, I didn't refuse and was even happy about it. I'm sorry."

The servants took Barrett and Soren away.
Nora wiped her tears, looked at Magnus, who was still sitting quietly without saying a word, and asked Isaac, "What's wrong with Magnus?"
