Chapter 461: Her Kiss, Disrupted His Mind

In the evening, Nora and Isaac bought groceries and went home.

When they arrived, Magnus and Soren had already returned from school.

But tonight, it wasn't the nanny who brought them back, it was...

"Mortimer? What are you doing here? Where's the nanny?"

Nora frowned as she looked at Mortimer, who appeared in her home.

She glanced around but didn't see the nannies.

Mortimer showed a gentle smile.

"I've been busy lately and haven't had time to visit Magnus and Soren. I've missed them, so I came to see them today. I let the nannies go home first."

Nora looked at the kids.

Magnus looked normal, while Soren was grinning foolishly, waving her hands and feet happily.

She was wearing a glowing bunny ear headband, which Mortimer bought for her. She seemed to like it a lot.

Seeing the kids happy, Nora didn't say anything.

But she could clearly feel the atmosphere around Isaac instantly turn cold.

Nora glanced at Isaac and could only gently pat his shoulder, urging him to be more magnanimous.

Magnus and Soren wanted to see Mortimer, and there was nothing she could do to stop it.

If she didn't let them see Mortimer, they would cry and fuss.

Just like when Isaac didn't come to see them, they would cry and fuss too.

She had no choice but to contact him.

Mortimer saw Isaac and showed a hint of surprise in his eyes, exclaiming, "Isaac is here too? I thought after what happened on the cruise, you would..."

He suddenly realized he had said something he shouldn't have and immediately stopped, smiling, "Nora, don't overthink it. Nothing happened on the cruise."

Isaac's face turned extremely dark. He became tense, his whole body stiffening, and his breathing becoming cautious as he looked at Nora.

Nora smiled as if she didn't catch Mortimer's insinuation.

She took Isaac's hand and coaxed softly, "Let's go make dinner first. Don't let the kids go hungry."

Isaac breathed a sigh of relief, following Nora to the kitchen.

Mortimer's smile slowly faded, his eyes deep and dark.

He had hinted so clearly, why wasn't Nora curious enough to ask what happened to Isaac on the cruise?

Nora wasn't stupid; she couldn't have missed such an obvious hint.

It seemed that because of Magnus's injury, Nora was biased against Mortimer and still didn't trust him.

But it didn't matter; he had other plans.

He just needed to wait a little longer.

No problem, he could wait.

Mortimer left before they started dinner.

Nora still had a strong problem with him, and his staying would only annoy her.

He had plenty of opportunities in the future; there was no rush.

During dinner, Isaac was in a bad mood, eating silently and absent-mindedly, not even picking up food.

Nora helped him with the food, but he was still distracted, eating without speaking.

Nora directly picked up some food and brought it to his mouth.

Isaac snapped back to reality, looking at her in surprise.

Nora said, "Just focus on eating. Don't think too much."

Isaac nodded lightly, "Okay, thank you."

This time, he didn't just focus on eating; he spoke a few words, but his mood still seemed low.

Nora sighed silently.

She felt that Isaac's emotional issues with her was deeper than hers towards him.

But she didn't dare to bring it up with him.

Although she didn't blame Isaac because it wasn't his fault.

But to say she didn't mind at all would be a lie.

She was also afraid that if she brought it up, Isaac's guilt would deepen, and he might avoid seeing her again.

It was better to give him time to forgive himself.

At night, Isaac slept properly on the outside, unlike before when he would cling to her, insisting on sleeping close.

Seeing him so well-behaved, Nora felt uncomfortable.

She quietly moved Magnus and Soren to the inside and lay down next to Isaac.

Isaac's body instantly stiffened, and he asked in a deep voice, "What are you doing?"

Nora replied, "Sleeping, what else?"

As she spoke, she pulled Isaac's arm over, resting her head on it and snuggling into his embrace.

Their bodies pressed tightly together, and their temperatures quickly connected, creating an atmosphere of intimacy.

Isaac's body tensed even more, and his breathing became heavier.

Nora's cheek rubbed against his firm chest, one leg draped over his, and her hand wrapped around his waist, clinging to him like an octopus.

Isaac's breathing grew heavier, the air from his nose hot.

The heated breath made his voice hoarse, "Nora, what are you trying to do?"

Nora said confidently, "Sleeping, don't you understand?"

Isaac's voice was tense, "Then sleep properly!"

Nora insisted, "I am sleeping properly."

Isaac took a deep breath, "Don't hold me like this, let go and sleep inside!"

She was deliberately messing with his mind, disturbing his composure!

Nora was a bit angry and muttered, "You're my husband, can't I hold you? We used to hold each other like this all the time."

"Just recently, you were still clinging to me, insisting on holding me. Now I can't hold you?"

Isaac was silent.

Nora huffed, "Don't play double standards with me. You held me, I hold you, that's fair!"

Isaac said hoarsely, "If you do this, I won't be able to control myself."

Nora smiled, "Control yourself from what?"

Isaac was a bit annoyed, "You know what I mean!"

Nora coaxed, "Then don't control yourself."

Isaac's whole body stiffened, his deep eyes wide open in the dark, his hoarse voice trembling slightly, "What did you say?"

Nora didn't speak.

She moved up a bit and kissed him.

In the dark, she couldn't see his face, and her kiss landed on his chin.

She kissed up from his chin, finally landing on his lips.

Their lips rubbed together, the intimate atmosphere spreading, the temperature rising rapidly.

Isaac's tense body began to tremble, seemingly trying hard to suppress something, but he was about to lose control.

Nora deepened the kiss, completely disrupting his mind.

Isaac finally stopped holding back.

He hugged Nora tightly, as if wanting to merge her into his body, taking the lead to deepen the kiss.

His kiss was domineering and wild.

Her lips felt a slight burning pain, a faint taste of blood spreading in their mouths.

That hint of blood seemed like an aphrodisiac, making her blood boil, every cell in her body excitedly jumping.

She hugged Isaac tightly, instinctively responding to his passion.
