Chapter 249 Magnus and Soren Found!
Isaac said, "These days, a lot of mobile apps need you to turn on location services. I'll use her phone number to see which apps she's signed up for and check where the location services have been used. If she's registered for any, we should be able to track her down."
Isaac didn't want to make any promises, worried that Nora would get her hopes up and then be let down.
After hearing Isaac, Nora bit her lip in frustration.
How could she have been so dumb not to think of this earlier?
But then, with a sigh, she realized that even if she had thought of it, she wouldn't have known how to check it. She didn't have access to someone else's location info.
"Then hurry up and check!" Nora urged.
Isaac said, "Got it, I'll get on it right now." Then he quickly left.
Nora held her phone and went back to the living room, curling up on the sofa with her knees hugged helplessly. She couldn't do anything, all she could do was pray in her heart for Magnus and Soren, hoping Isaac could find them quickly.
For the next few days, Isaac didn't come to see Nora. But he texted her every day, assuring her that he hadn't forgotten his promise and was still checking.
Nora went to work at the store every day. On the surface, she seemed to have returned to her pre-crisis state. But her heart was still filled with anxiety, which led her to suffer from insomnia every night.
Those were her children, the ones she had risked her life to give birth to. The thought of her children missing was unbearable. She wouldn't rest until they were safe in her arms again.
Days passed in a blur.
Until 3 a.m. on the seventh day, Isaac came to find her, looking weathered and out of breath.
Meanwhile, she was lying in bed, still unable to sleep.
When she saw Isaac walk in, Nora was first stunned, then her face turned wary, and she instinctively clutched the blanket tightly.
Why was he coming over so late?
"You..." Nora was about to ask.
But before she could finish, Isaac suddenly chuckled and said, "I found them! Both kids, not one less, and they're both alive and well."
Nora's heart skipped a beat, her eyes widening in shock, her voice trembling with excitement. "What did you say? You found Magnus and Soren? Where are they?!"
Isaac said, "They were taken to a remote village. After I found their location, I contacted the local police to help search for them. The police found them yesterday and arranged for them to be escorted to Aridonia. Since it wasn't confirmed when they would arrive in Aridonia, I didn't tell you immediately to avoid making you worry too much. But I just got a call from the police saying they will arrive in Aridonia in an hour, and I need to go pick them up."
Nora was trembling with excitement. She would see them soon!
"I'll go to the station to pick them up right away!" Nora excitedly threw off the blanket, ready to head to the station immediately. But as soon as she threw off the blanket, she quickly covered herself again, her face turning bright red. Because she wasn't wearing anything.
She didn't usually sleep naked. It was just that the air conditioning in the bedroom was too hot, and after lowering the temperature, the room didn't cool down immediately, so she took off her clothes.
"You... you go out for a bit, I need to get dressed," Nora said softly, biting her lip.
Isaac's deep eyes showed a hint of a smile. He nodded lightly and turned to leave the room, thoughtfully closing the door behind him.
Nora quickly found a set of clothes, then hurried to the bathroom to freshen up.
Soon, she opened the door and walked to the living room, saying to Isaac, "Let's go!"
"Got it." Isaac walked towards the door.
Suddenly, Nora seemed to remember something and stopped abruptly.
Seeing this, Isaac also stopped and looked at her with concern. "What's wrong?"
Nora quietly clenched her fists, hesitated for a moment, and then cautiously asked, "Have you seen photos of the two kids?"
After the police found them, they would definitely contact him to verify the kids' information.
She wondered if the police had sent him photos of Magnus and Soren.
Isaac said, "No, I haven't. When I contacted the police, I told them I didn't know what they looked like and only provided the information I had. They verified it with Magnus and Soren based on it."
Nora then felt relieved.
Fortunately, he hadn't seen Magnus and Soren's faces yet, or their identities would be exposed.
"Why are you asking?" Isaac asked.
Nora lowered her eyes to hide her guilt and lied, "When they called me for help last time, they specifically told me that their biological mother warned them not to let anyone see their faces. They asked me to bring masks when I went to rescue them. They said they had stayed with me before, and I had their masks. I'll go look for them."
Without waiting to see if Isaac believed her, she went back to look for the masks.
After a while, she found two masks in a cabinet.
Isaac didn't react much, his eyes flickering for a moment before returning to normal.
"I found the masks. Let's go!" Nora said, holding the masks in front of him.
Isaac then personally drove her to the train station.
They waited for about ten minutes before seeing a few police officers walking out of the station with two children.
Nora immediately recognized the two children as Magnus and Soren! She was trembling with excitement, her eyes filled with tears.
While excited, she also felt a sense of panic. How could she put the masks on Magnus and Soren before Isaac saw their faces?
Rushing over and putting the masks on them without a word was obviously not an option. Magnus and Soren were still with the police. If she dared to rush over, the police would definitely restrain her immediately.
By then, Isaac would have already seen Magnus and Soren's faces!
