Chapter 14 Fake miscarriage I
Winnie did not think L was someone who was interested in trivial matters like this. She rose to her feet and said coldly, “Let’s go. There’s no need to pay attention to barking dogs.”
“Barking dogs can sometimes be amusing as well.”
Lily did not hear his words. She was in daze as she looked at the sexy smirk on his face."
"What are you staring at? Hurry up and order some food."
Lily returned to her senses. She threw the black card on the table and said, “Alright, alright. You can order as much as you want.”
L beckoned the manager over. His movements were elegant.
When the manager walked over, he could not help but tremble as he asked, “How can I help you?”
"Bring me all your menus," L said.
Lily assumed that the manager would only bring a few menus out. Unexpectedly, the manager brought twenty menus out, and each one had at least 20 kinds of food listed on it.
L said timelessly, “I want everything on the menus.”
Lily exclaimed in shock, “What are you doing, you little thug?”
“Didn’t you say you’d treat me to a meal?”
Since the words were already said, Lily could only agree. After all, people were still watching her on the livestream. She said, “Yes. Order whatever you want. After all, the club’s black card that Daniel got Ava has a high limit.”

After all the food was served, L smiled and said, “Why don’t you settle the bill first? I’ll come with you.”

The manager looked at L before he asked, “Are you going to kneel or not?”
In the end, Lily could only kneel down in humiliation.
L looked up lazily. His face was expressionless as he said to Winnie, “Give me your phone.”
Winnie was stunned by this request. However, she thought that he had his way of doing things so she handed her phone to him.
The man took of photo of Lily kneeling before he sent it to the group chat that had been buzzing nonstop.
Everyone was watching Lily humiliate Winnie. Unexpectedly, they ended up seeing a photo of Lily kneeling in front of Winnie, showing half of Winnie’s body in the frame. Moreover, the photo was sent by Winnie. In just a blink of an eye, the group chat fell eerily silent.
Winnie glanced at L, thinking that he must have heard his phone ringing nonstop earlier. His temperament was outstanding. She thought that Lily must be blind to have mistaken him for a thug.
After a moment, Winnie sent a message to the group chat.
“It’s really great to have someone kneeling while I eat.”
Earlier, when those men were discussing paying her to spend the night with them, she did not reply at all. However, when she finally spoke up, it was silent in the group chat.
At this time, L looked at Lily and asked, “Where’s your apology? Apologize in the group chat”
Lily’s hands were trembling as she looked at the humiliating photo of her kneeling. The knowledge that everyone had seen it made her feel worse. Nonetheless, she really did not want to go to the police station. In the end, she could only endure it and sent a message.
“Winnie, I’m sorry.”
The chat was still silent after Lily sent the message. However, everyone gasped collectively in person.
A few seconds later, one of the people who had brought up paying Winnie to spend a night with him sent a message.
“Winnie, I’m sorry.”
Although they did not know what happened, they felt that Winnie must have some powerful support if she could make Lily kneel and apologize. As such, it would be best not to offend her.
Following that, several people also apologized to Winnie.
Winnie put her phone down and looked at L silently. Suddenly, she felt that he was rather attractive despite being a man of few words.
L noticed Winnie sneaking a glance at him. Suddenly, he gestured to the security guards and pointed at Lily’s right hand before he said, “Break it.”
It was the hand that Lily had touched his chin with earlier.
Lily screamed miserably, but L continued to say nonchalantly, “You see, I’m a thug. I don’t have money to compensate you. It’s best if you don’t report this matter to the police.”
Lily glared at Winnie resentfully. However, she could only endure it because she was inexplicably afraid of L.
After everything was said and done, Lily endured the pain and said spitefully, “Winnie, don’t think this is over. Ava won’t let you go!”
Winnie was not afraid of Ava reporting her. After all, Ava seemed to be busy with another man now. She thought about it for a moment before she smiled and said to L, “Thank you for helping me vent my anger.”
"It is the least I could do. You’re my ‘wife’, after all,” L said in a magnetic voice. He sounded particularly sexy when he said the word, ‘wife’.
Winnie knew he was joking, but she could not help but blush.
In the next second, L’s voice turned cold and disdainful as he continued to say, “However, it seems like sitting with you would cause others to mistake me for a thug.”
Winnie naturally heard the accusatory tone in his voice. However, with this incident, she was also sure that he did not have any shade dealings here. She could not help wondering what his identity was to be able to command so much respect from the manager of Victoria Private Club.

Ava asked with a dark expression, “What happened with the black card?”

Ava felt relieved when she heard this.
‘I guess there’s no way Winnie could’ve attracted a rich man. The black card was probably canceled by the owner of Victoria Private Club. But when did I offend the owner of the club?’
Ava felt annoyed again nearing the end of her thoughts.
At this moment, Daniel called her.
“Ava, are you at the hospital? My mom is very excited about her grandson. Let her accompany you for your pre-natal check-up, okay?” Daniel said with a hint of anticipation.
Ava stiffened when she heard these words. However, she quickly came up with an excuse and said coquettishly, “What’s the rush? The baby is not even three months out. We can’t see anything now. Let’s wait until it’s bigger.”

“I… I’m sorry, Daniel. I’m feeling nauseous again…”
"Alright. Go and see a doctor about this. I’ll pick you up after I’m done with my work.”
Ava casually agreed and ended the call. She sighed in relief.
Lily looked at her worriedly. “Ava, the child…”
In order to instigate Daniel to kidnapped Winnie, Ava had to lie about being pregnant. The more time passed, the harder it would be for her to keep this a secret. She had thought about getting pregnant for real, but it was difficult for her to get pregnant. In the past, she had even miscarried twice.

Lily understood Ava’s intentions immediately. She smiled and nodded before she got to work immediately.

Winnie quietly slipped into the guest lounge. She came here to catch one of the smaller shareholders in a compromising situation. The other party was not only greedy but lustful as well.
Olivia made a disapproving noise before she said through the earpiece, “Tsk, he’s already so old, but he still has the energy to play with two women at once.“
Winnie sat down. Just as she was about the remove the hidden camera on her chest, Olivia told her to wait for a moment because the signal was bad. While she waited, she asked for a glass of water.
At this time, the sound of high heels rang from behind before Ava walked over gracefully and took a seat.
“Winnie, what a coincidence! I was just at the hospital next door for a pre-natal check-up. Daniel and my baby is growing very well. Have a look.”
As Ava spoke, she brought out the examination report before she observed Winnie. Seeing that there was no reaction from Winnie, her gaze darkened. However, in the next moment, she suddenly bit her lip and said, “Winnie. Actually, I came to apologize to you.”
Winnie looked at Ava and smiled icily as she asked, “What do you want to apologize for?”
