Chapter 698 Olivia Falls into the Sea

Olivia was in a real bad spot, gagged and all. Her world went dark as they shoved her into a sack and knocked her out cold.

Her desperate cries just cut off like that.

Rock, hiding behind the door, was sweating bullets.

'Olivia's Winnie’s bestie, but she's way too nosy. She found out all my dirty laundry! If I don't take care of her now, she'll spill everything to Winnie and wreck my whole plan. I need Winnie on my side, can't let Olivia mess it up,' he thought.

Rock's lips twisted into a nasty grin as he stepped out. "Hold up, gimme her phone!"

The bodyguard rummaged through Olivia's stuff and handed the phone over.

Rock's face turned dark. Without even looking at the sack, he said coldly, "Hasn't she been looking for Jeremy lately? Just toss her into the sea by the factory. But make sure she's dead first, no loose ends."

The bodyguard nodded, grabbed the sack, and vanished from the club.

In the eerie silence, Rock calmly sent a text from Olivia's phone. Mars chuckled and clapped, "Mr. Harrington, you’re a real pro at this. Killing someone and staying so chill, even setting up fake evidence. Dumping her at the factory, so if Winnie finds out, you can just say she was looking for Jeremy and had an accident. Genius. You've been playing Winnie like a fiddle. Your methods are brutal."

Rock's eyes flashed with annoyance. 'When it comes to scheming, I'm way sneakier than Mars and Ronnie. That's how I got everyone to trust me and became a big shot in Trento City after Lawrence fell. I want Winnie under my thumb. I want way more! Anyone in my way, like Olivia, is toast.'

"Mr. Martin, thanks for covering for me tonight. I owe you one," Rock said smoothly. "If Mr. Peterson needs anything, just holler. I gotta deal with Olivia now, so I'm out."

Mars watched him leave, a cold glint in his eyes.

This Rock guy, killing without a blink, even Mars, who knew his tricks, was taken aback.

'This guy won't be easy to control. Gotta let Ronnie know,' Mars thought.

At the deserted factory, the wind howled from the sea below the cliff.

The bodyguard kicked the sack down the slope.

Olivia woke up in sheer terror, tumbling down, her forehead bleeding, face pale, struggling like mad against the sack.

With a thud, her back hit a sharp rock, pain shooting through her, but she finally stopped.

Before she could catch her breath, a foot pressed down on the sack.

"Hand me the knife," the burly bodyguard's voice growled.

'A knife? What are they gonna do?' She squirmed in terror.

"Mr. Harrington said to kill her first, then toss her down," a bodyguard said.

Olivia spat out the gag, her whole body freezing with fear, and screamed, "No, don't kill me! Just throw me down. I'll die anyway. I'm scared of the pain."

"Shut up. With what you know, you're dead meat today. Mr. Harrington won't let you go." The burly bodyguard said, then swung the knife down.

Olivia heard the blade slicing through the air. In a panic, she fumbled for her phone, but it was gone.

She needed to warn Winnie. Even if she was about to die, Winnie had to know the truth about Rock!

The dagger ripped through the sack, cutting into her shoulder.

She twisted away, barely dodging the blade, and in a desperate move, she screamed and threw herself toward the rocks.

She wanted to live, and jumping into the sea was her only shot.

Better to take her chances with the sea than get stabbed to death!

The sack tumbled off the rocks, plunging into the sea faster than anyone expected.

"Damn it!" The bodyguard with the knife was stunned. He rushed to the cliff's edge but didn't dare jump. He stared at the falling sack, then turned and yelled, "Why the hell didn't you guys hold onto her?"

"She was too fast!"

"There's blood here. You must've stabbed her."

The bodyguard's phone rang.

He looked at it, and it was Rock calling!

The bodyguard's face went pale as he stood up, exchanging nervous glances with his crew.

The others, sweating bullets, pointed at the blood on the ground, "I saw it. You stabbed her in the heart!"

"She's a weak woman. Falling into the sea, she's definitely dead. Just tell Mr. Harrington that!"

"Mr. Harrington," the bodyguard swallowed hard.

Rock's voice was icy, "How did it go? Is she dead?"

"I stabbed her in the heart, then threw her into the sea. Mr. Harrington, don't worry!"

Rock heard the hesitation and snapped, "Is that true? Are you sure she was dead before she hit the water?"

"Really, we four guys couldn't handle one woman? With that high drop, tied in a sack, there's no way she could escape."

Rock finally relaxed, figuring they couldn't possibly screw this up, and said, "There'll be a sum of money for you. Leave Trento City immediately!"

"Yes, sir."

The endless sea surrounded Olivia, her mouth and nose filling with seawater, the currents dragging her down.

The sack was holding her back!

Ignoring the pain in her shoulder, she fought to break free.

If she bled and got swept into the open sea, sharks might come, and then she'd be done for.

She kept swimming, battling the whirlpool.

But her strength was fading fast, and she could only watch as she drifted further from shore.

Finally, the freezing cold was numbing her senses.

Suddenly, she spotted a yacht ahead, anchored in the middle of the sea.

"Help," Olivia's heart raced. She bit her lip, trying to stay awake, and swam desperately toward the yacht, "Help." She weakly waved her hand.

On the yacht's deck stood a man, tall and lean.

He wore gold-rimmed glasses, hiding a pair of intense eyes, standing there in a daze.

Suddenly, he saw a small dot in the water and said, "Stop."

"Sir?" The uniformed sailor, surprised and unsure, asked, "You want us to stop?"

"There's someone there, can't you see?" The man rarely spoke.

'This is really something. Ever since our boss saved this guy, he's been badly hurt, lost his memory, and got some weird illness, never speaking. Now he sees someone in the water and wants to save her?' The sailor thought.

"Hurry! Save her," the man with glasses barked.
