Chapter 494 Finding Oscar

"The evidence is Unquestionable! Eleanor is stone-hearted; that’s why she detests Winnie! The love we shared as couple is broken beyond repair. I can't imagine living another day with that woman."

"Dad, there must be some misunderstanding between Winnie and Mom," Ishara spoke tearfully. "Before Winnie came back, Mom was kind and gentle. She never had any issues with the Blanchet family. But everything changed when Winnie returned..." Her eyes pleaded with Stephanie for understanding.

Stephanie thought to herself, 'Isn't that the truth!'

Carlos gazed attentively at Ishara. "Ishara, it appears your mother may have hired someone to eliminate Winnie. That's a serious crime. I'm wondering if you knew about it."

Teary eyed Ishara. "Dad, I swear I didn't know anything. I haven't been in Trento City for the past few days..."

"Carlos! Isn't it enough that you suspect Eleanor? Now you doubt your daughter too? What kind of spell did Winnie cast on you? Just because she insists she was framed, why does it have to be Eleanor's fault? I've heard that it was only after a car accident that she got abducted. With all the mishaps, who knows who she rubbed the wrong way in Trento City? Angela told me she's been giving Ishara a hard time at the ST company. Even Ishara, so frail as she is, gets bullied by her. Think about it, how domineering she must be? A girl with no manners like her, coming from nowhere, probably made enough enemies to invite revenge!" Carlos exclaimed, "Mom!"

Winnie walked into the courtyard only to hear Stephanie's powerful accusations. Despite never holding out much hope for 'Kathy', she still felt a chill in her heart. The evidence against Eleanor was nearly irrefutable, yet the old lady still believed Angela and Ishara, harboring animosity toward Winnie.

Sidney was ready to burst into the scene, but Winnie stopped him.

Jeremy arrived, his face grim, followed by several of his elite men.

Jeremy squinted and said, "Miss Anderson, it appears you're in deep water with the Blanchet family here."

Winnie gave a tight-lipped smile, saying nothing.

She walked in calmly, facing the chaotic crowd in the Blanchet family living room. Looking at Stephanie, Winnie let out a cold laugh and said, "Dad, it's okay if Kathy doesn't admit that Eleanor was behind my troubles.”
“I just needed her to see, the only people I've crossed were Eleanor and my sister.”

“They had malicious intentions, and before I could return to the Blanchet family, they kidnapped someone important to me!”

“It all fell apart on its own."
"What?" Carlos didn't understand.

Eleanor was stunned too.

Only Ishara caught the critical word: kidnapped...

Her pupils constricted.

Winnie didn't give Ishara time to react, walking straight to Carlos, "Dad, let's go to the study. I've got something important to tell you."

"Ishara, looking uneasy, asked with a tone of worry, "Winnie, what's so secret that you need to talk to dad alone?"

Winnie looked into her deer-like eyes narrowing in anger.

Seeing Winnie's serious expression, Carlos nodded, though suspicious.

Before Winnie went upstairs with Sidney, she glanced at Jeremy.

Jeremy nodded; his men were outside the villa, ready to keep a close eye on Ishara, preventing her from any foul play.

As Winnie and Carlos entered the study, Ishara was consumed with anxiety.
-
Inside the study.

Winnie got straight to the point, "Dad, I actually have another son. He’s Sidney’s twin."

Carlos was shocked!

She explained, "Before you came to Lymington to get me, he got kidnapped. I suspect he’s being held in the Blanchet family villa!"

Carlos couldn't process her words.

"What are you talking about? That's impossible! Are you saying the Blanchet clan kidnapped your child? Nonsense!"

Facing Carlos's anger, Winnie came prepared.

She presented the original 'evidence' stored at the police station by Lawrence R.

Point by point, she passed her conjectures and evidence to Carlos.

After reviewing them, Carlos's pupils kept changing colors. He sat down as if drained, breathing heavily, disbelieving, "Ishara kidnapped your child? How could that be... I can’t believe it..."

"When Oscar was kidnapped, he tore off Ishara's handkerchief, which had a unique flower embroidered on it.

“The Blanchet villa's garden has that rare, toxic flower – worth a fortune per plant!”

“Ishara's handkerchiefs, investigated by Sidney, are all made of silk fabric. This new piece matches the material of the evidence.”

“Can you really believe this is just a coincidence?”
“If you're not certain, perhaps you could let us take a look inside that locked-up mansion. There is something really fishy about it!”
"I'm desperate to find your other grandchild; he's been kidnapped for over a month now!"
Carlos tensed up, every nerve on edge.

Outside the door.
Ishara, eavesdropping at the door, turned as pale as ice.
She felt as if someone had grabbed her by the throat, caught off guard, her eyes—full of spite and trembling—shot towards Eleanor.
Ishara pulled her mother aside, fuming, "I told you to keep that Sidney away from the mansion, why weren't you careful?"
Eleanor, touching her hair in confusion, replied, "It must have been yesterday! I was overwhelmed. Your dad brought that wild child home, and I instructed the butler to keep an eye on him. It was quite the shocker to realize he had sneaked into your bedroom and saw those flowers you planted in the backyard! But Ishara, how did Winnie find your handkerchief? Didn't you say Peter took care of the getaway car?"
Ishara was seething with anger, that was a question for Peter.
The telltale flower ripped from her handkerchief remained in the car.
Each unique handkerchief was custom-embroidered with her initials.
She had the seamstress embroider the flower on her custom handkerchiefs, never expecting that observant Oscar to notice the intricate detail and leave behind a clue!
And Winnie had found that clue!
Ishara's nerves were on edge.

Whoosh—the study door burst open.
Carlos strode out.
Eleanor looked at Ishara, "If they decide to search the mansion..."
Ishara's eyes signaled her mother to keep silent.
The two pretended to come out of a bedroom.

Carlos's gaze turned to Ishara, his expression wholly changed. He hadn't yet begun to process the idea that Ishara could have kidnapped Winnie's son.
"Ishara, the house at the extreme end in the yard, mostly filled with your old stuff, sealed of at your request to keep pets away, I haven't opened it for years. Now, Winnie would like to take a look inside..."

"Winnie wants to look at what?" Ishara came over with an innocent face, interjecting, "Winnie just got back to the Blanchet family; why would she be interested in a storage shed?"
Carlos furrowed his brow, hesitant to make accusations without the facts.

"If she wants to look, let her. There's nothing wrong with that."
"But, Dad!" Ishara objected, standing defiantly in front of Winnie, "You said it yourself; that is where I keep my old, private things. I don't want those items on display for everyone's scrutiny."
"Do you not want spectators, or are you just guilty?” Sidney sneered, his eyes bloodshot as he growled low.

"You've made a big mistake, kidnapping someone you shouldn't have. When the truth comes out and I find my brother, your malicious intent will be exposed to the world!"
