Chapter 760 Lawrence Arrives

"Sierra?" Winnie sat in the Blanchet Group office, frowning in surprise. "Sorry, I don't know you well. There's no need to meet."

"What if I have something to talk to you about?" Sierra sneered.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Who else could it be about but you and me?" Sierra noticed she was about to hang up and quickly added, "By the way, you reported your best friend Olivia missing, right?"

Winnie was immediately suspicious. "How do you know about that?"

"I know a lot more. I want to tell you some things, but it's up to you if you want to listen. Wait for me at the Blanchet Group!"

With that, Sierra hung up the phone.

Winnie held her phone, lost in thought.

What did Sierra want to tell her?

Meanwhile, Sierra hung up the phone, got into her newly bought car, and drove towards the Blanchet Group.

As the car reached a new development in Trento City, the brakes suddenly failed.

Sierra sensed something was wrong and tried to slam on the brakes, but the car's front end crashed into the steel bars of a construction site with a loud sound.

Sharp steel bars instantly pierced through the car's windshield.

"Ah!" Sierra's eyes widened, and she screamed.

When the steel bar pierced her chest, she didn't even have time to feel the pain.

She tried to hit the gas and reverse, but the brake system seemed to be controlled, and the car kept crashing forward.

"No, no, it hurts so much!"

Blood quickly gushed from her chest, covering her body until the steel bar completely impaled her, leaving her hanging in mid-air.

Sierra's vision darkened, and a stream of blood spurted from her nose.

She stared wide-eyed as her car spun around.

She knew this couldn't be a coincidence.

Why did the brakes suddenly fail? This car was a new one Rock bought for her!

Rock was terrifying.

She was just about to go see Winnie to expose his ugly side, and he acted against her!

She was unwilling even in death.

Tears welled up in Sierra's eyes, but her body was already immobile. She knew she was about to die. She frantically took out her phone, found Winnie's number, and typed a few words: [Rock is...]

Before she could finish, her hand slowly fell to the ground, and the car's hood was on fire.

She knew she was doomed.

She forcefully threw her phone into the steel bars of the building!

Sierra stared wide-eyed, unwillingly taking her last breath.

At the Blanchet Group.

After receiving the call, Winnie was immediately called into a meeting by senior management.

She was busy until the end of the workday when she remembered that Sierra had said she would come to see her. Despite Sierra's strong attitude, she never showed up.

Winnie had a poor impression of her and didn't think it was necessary to call her back.

She packed her things and was about to call and check on her sons at the Rodriguez Villa.

Lysander suddenly ran in. "Ms. Anderson, there's a middle-aged woman in the company lobby crying and making a scene, saying you killed her daughter and demanding you come down to pay for it!"

Winnie was stunned, completely puzzled. "Who is her daughter?"

"It's Sierra. I don't know her," Lysander replied.

Winnie was momentarily taken aback.

What, Sierra was dead?

She couldn't understand what was going on. Didn't Sierra call her this afternoon?

Winnie frowned, picked up her coat and bag. "I'll go see this woman."

"No, Ms. Anderson! I saw a small knife in her pocket. She's very agitated and might harm you," Lysander said righteously, blocking her.

Winnie was even more surprised. It must be Sierra's family.

She couldn't come here for no reason. Maybe something really happened to Sierra.

"Letting her make a scene in the company isn't a solution. Have security escort me."

Winnie said and walked downstairs.

Lysander frowned, worried about her. He immediately called Rock, but he didn't answer.

After thinking for a moment, Lysander reluctantly called Lawrence, as he seemed to care about Winnie.

In the Blanchet Group lobby.

Winnie walked out of the elevator and saw a crowd gathered. The steps outside the company were packed with onlookers.

A middle-aged woman, Lauren Jones, who looked well-off, was lying on the ground, crying and screaming, "Winnie! You vicious woman, come out! You've already married Rock, why can't you leave my Sierra alone? Sierra only came to Trento City to be Rock's secretary at Mrs. Harrington's invitation. They had no relationship. Why couldn't you even tolerate a secretary by Rock's side? Sierra died impaled on steel bars, burned beyond recognition. I can't live anymore, but I'll take you down with me, you venomous woman!"

The Blanchet Group employees saw Winnie approaching and started whispering.

Winnie frowned but hadn't said anything when Lauren suddenly saw her. She had seen Winnie at Rock's wedding and immediately pulled out the small knife from her pocket and charged at her.

"Security!" Winnie called out coldly.

Three security guards immediately rushed to restrain Lauren.

"Let me go!" Lauren glared at Winnie with fury. "Did you do this? Why was Sierra's last call to you before she died? What did you talk about? Did you threaten her?"

Winnie was completely confused. "Ma'am, you're being unreasonable. First of all, I barely know Sierra. I've never contacted her. She called me. She wanted to tell me something."

"I don't believe it. She said you were unfriendly to her. Why would she contact you? It must be you who killed her!"

Lauren screamed, breaking through the security guards' barrier, and charged at Winnie with a ferocious look.

Winnie was unprepared and widened her eyes slightly.

At the moment she couldn't dodge, a tall figure suddenly rushed over and pushed her aside.

"Watch out, Winnie!" Lawrence's deep voice carried a stern warning.

He shoved Lauren aside.

Lauren fell to the ground, stunned by Lawrence's fierce gaze. "Who are you? I'm here for Winnie. What does it have to do with you?"

Lawrence pulled Winnie behind him, his imposing figure exuding pressure. He frowned coldly, "Seeking revenge on an unrelated person without evidence is clearly illegal."

Winnie's sluggish thoughts returned, and she looked up at his stern profile.

"Lawrence," she murmured.

Lawrence held her wrist, his voice softening. "Don't worry, I've already called the police."

The police arrived shortly later and rushed over.

Lawrence said coldly, "This woman attempted murder. You'd better restrain her first."

"Officer, Winnie must be involved in my daughter's death. My daughter's last call was to her before she died. Arrest her! Didn't I call the police?" Lauren cried out in agitation.
