Chapter 598 The Truth of Ishara's Pregnancy
"What's the situation?"
In Leo's examination room, Ishara frowned as she looked at the ultrasound machine.
Leo moved the ultrasound probe away from her belly and printed out the results,
"Currently, the ultrasound is normal. Have you had any bleeding these past few days?"
Claire stepped forward to answer, "Ishara had a bit of brown spotting once."
Leo said, "Overall, it's normal. After the embryo implants, there may be some slight instability."
However, Ishara doubted his skills. "Did you not stabilize it during the surgery? Otherwise, why would it be unstable in my belly? I've had abdominal pain several times, how can I be at ease? I absolutely cannot lose this child. Do you understand how difficult it was for us to conceive it?"
Leo, flustered by her suspicions and with a timid nature, lowered his head and carefully reassured her, "It's really nothing. Even natural pregnant women mostly have brown spotting in the first three months, which is called threatened miscarriage. Miss, I'll give you some medication to take and just rest in bed."
"Will I be able to carry the pregnancy to term like a normal pregnant woman? If there was an issue with your surgery, I won't let it go." Ishara slowly sat up with Claire's help.
As Leo sent Ishara down, Oscar immediately turned around, playing with building blocks with Leo's daughter, sitting in a corner with his back to the direction of the study.
A pair of slender legs stopped beside him.
Oscar remained calm, not lifting his head immediately.
Ishara quietly stared at Oscar, finding the little fool slower in both reaction and behavior compared to Leo's daughter.
Ishara took a photo of Oscar's face with her phone, the lighting casting a pale and gaunt shadow over his features. Ishara smirked, signaling Leo with a glance.
Leo followed her to the door, and Ishara coldly cautioned, "Keep this fool as he is! You shouldn't really treat him according to Lawrence R's wishes. Leo, don't forget our shared secret. Just stay neutral. If Lawrence R finds out what you did to Winnie, you'll have nowhere to hide, just like me."
Leo, taken aback, quickly responded, "I won't cure Oscar. I can easily deceive Lawrence R. Oscar will probably stay with me for a while."
Leo realized he couldn't let Ishara come here anymore; Oscar might discover something. After seeing Ishara off, he closed the door. A jolt went through him. He couldn't shake the feeling that Oscar had been staring at Ishara's stomach.
