Chapter 298 Oscar versus Darcy

Rock rubbed his fingers, squinting his eyes slightly, unable to discern if the temperature in his eyes was cold or warm. He took out his phone and sent a text message to his subordinate:

"Send someone to check Winnie's prenatal report from three years ago, and also keep an eye on Lawrence R's mansion."

In these three years, Lawrence R has kept his affairs under tight wraps, and Rock hasn't found anything about his personal matters.

There are just rumors that he and Darcy had a child.

But if the rumors are wrong and Lawrence R does indeed have a child...

Rock's gaze narrowed as he thought about this 'Oscar' by Winnie's side. It would undoubtedly be troublesome for him...

-

In the kindergarten.

Without exception, the angry voice of a female teacher could be heard in the hallway office, "Sidney, come to the office immediately!"

Oscar smirked slightly.

The children in the class stuck their heads out, their eyes towards him filled with exclusion and unfamiliarity.

No wonder Sidney didn't like going to school. He was always being ostracized and called to the office. He didn't like it either!

Oscar calmly took out his AI wristband, took several photos of the worn-out and shabby classroom, and stored them in the modified device.

Then, he walked into the office, pretending to be innocent. "Teacher..."

"You come in and stand in the corner first!" The female teacher scornfully glanced at the delicate little boy, Sidney. "Sidney, why did you beat up your five classmates?"

Nick's plump mother hurried over, pointing angrily at Oscar, "You unruly brat who no one disciplines, my son bled so much because of you, you should compensate!"

"Nick's mother, calm down. I already called Sidney's mommy." The teacher said.

"Hmph, this isn't over today!"

Oscar squinted his eyes, watching the two adults arguing back and forth, quite enjoying the spectacle.

He didn't explain anything and just sweetly said to the teacher, "Teacher, I know I hit someone, so I just called my dad."

"What?" The female teacher was stunned.

Miss Ordelia had been bribed by Darcy. She had given her instructions to call her instead of Sidney's mother, and to side with Nick's mother, torturing Sidney.

To make sure he wouldn't dare come to school tomorrow.

The female teacher reprimanded, "Why didn't you discuss it with the teacher? Normally, we only need to call the mother!"

"Why can't I call my dad? Teacher, what are you afraid of?" Oscar blinked and smiled.

The female teacher was even more astonished. Was this still Sidney, who used to be so proud and arrogant that he couldn't even be bothered to call her 'teacher'?

Why does it feel like this child has become mischievous and cunning?

"You, the way you speak... I'm worried that if your dad comes, he'll hit you," the female teacher pretended.

"He won't hit me, so teacher, you don't have to worry. You better worry about yourself!" Oscar innocently replied.

The female teacher was caught off guard, but then she thought, if Sidney had any background at home, why wouldn't Miss Ordelia disclose it?

Besides, what could a father who never showed up at the kindergarten know? She could deceive him a bit, and who would know the truth in the end.

I don't know.

The female teacher thought and decided to call Miss Ordelia to remind her.

Just then, a swift and resounding footstep sounded at the door. A tall and elegant man instantly filled the office with his graceful aura.
Nick's mother turned her head first and was stunned by the sight of Lawrence R, who was absolutely breathtaking. The woman was instinctively speechless.

Even the female teacher turned her head and blushed slightly, immediately greeting him in a gentle tone, "Sir, may I help you with something?"

Lawrence R walked in with determined steps, ignoring her and focusing directly on Oscar's head. After inspecting him, he noticed a bruise on the child's forehead.

And the five kids opposite his son all had bruised and swollen faces!

Only then did the man cast a glance at the teacher and spoke in a cold, low tone, "You're the teacher of Sidney in the kindergarten?"

The female teacher was taken aback, and after suspecting the identity of this father, she couldn't help but feel shocked.

She was about to shyly state that she was indeed the teacher.

"So, you are Sidney's father?"

Nick's mother barged in, though intimidated by the man's imposing presence.

But with her brother being on the board, she felt a bit arrogant, "How do you discipline your child? He's been hitting people everywhere. My Nick had his nose bleeding because of him. Let me tell you, unless you make him apologize today and give me 100,000 dollars in medical expenses, I won't let this go!" She firmly held her ground!

Lawrence R ignored her and directly asked the female teacher, "Teacher, is this true?"

For some reason, the man's authority instinctively made people fear him.

The female teacher's gaze flickered for a moment, and as she was about to speak, Darcy walked in late at the door and said, "Teacher, did Sidney cause trouble again?"

She was fixing her hair, with a carefree expression still lingering on her face. But when she suddenly saw Lawrence R, her expression froze.

Lawrence R, who had already noticed her, saw her raised eyebrows and the calmness in her slow reaction, which made him frown.

"Mr. L? Darcy trembled as she thought about her voice trembling at the hotel just now.

Lawrence R couldn't tell her emotions, but his tone turned cold, "Sidney got into a conflict with his classmates, and I was called here five minutes ago! Where were you during this time?"

"I, I..." Darcy didn't know how to lie for a moment, so she quickly shifted the blame to Sidney, wearing an expression of helplessness as she asked the teacher, "Teacher, did my Sidney bully his classmates again?"

The female teacher felt slightly relieved with Miss Ordelia's arrival.

She cooperated and said, "Yes, Sidney's mom, Sidney has never been getting along well with his classmates, as you know. Today, Nick accidentally provoked him, and he started hitting people, injuring five or six children."

"Sidney, mommy has told you to be gentle." Darcy crouched down, gently touching the child's hand, and glanced at Lawrence R's puzzled expression.

She sighed, "Mr. L, this is the true situation with Sidney at school. I've always been afraid to confront-"
“You said, I’m afraid you will be disappointed in him,” she said.

Saying that, she walked in front of Nick's mother again, apologizing, "It was Sidney's fault, and I apologize for him. But it's normal for children to have conflicts..."

“What do you mean it's normal for children to have conflicts? Your Sidney has hit my Nick many times, going too far!” Nick's mother challenged.

Darcy glanced at Lawrence R, whose face was getting worse, and her eyes lit up slightly.

With a bitter expression on her face, she said, "So, how do you suggest we resolve this issue? I and his father will cooperate."

“Then I will give you two options. Either take him home and withdraw him from school, or I will sue you for raising such an ill-mannered child!” Nick's mother persisted.

Darcy looked at Lawrence R with a troubled expression, "Mr. L, this is not his first time. Even if we use money, it's difficult to silence the parents..."

Deep in thought, Lawrence R looked down at his son and said, "Sidney, don't be silent. Daddy will give you courage. Tell us, what exactly happened?"

"Mr. L... with both parents and teachers present, your attitude is not very good..." Darcy tried to persuade.

Oscar chuckled and, now that the protagonist had arrived, he looked up at Darcy and asked, "What kind of attitude would be considered good in Mommy's eyes? Should I drop out successfully, or should I be taken to court?"
