Chapter 203 Jeremy Finds New Evidence
He had insisted on a detailed investigation into his mother's abduction case and had been closely following the matter, even though the main culprit, Elliott, had already been put behind bars by him.
Jeremy motioned for him to sit down. "First, watch this interrogation."
But what he played was Elliott's confession. The officer asked him, "Did Winnie participate in the kidnapping of Madam Rodriguez that night? Please describe the details of the incident truthfully."
"My niece Winnie had nothing to do with the kidnapping of Madam Rodriguez! I wanted to rescue her from Lawrence R's clutches. Madam Rodriguez had a sudden illness that night, and because Winnie knows medicine, I had my assistant forcibly bring her over. If you don't believe me, you can ask the pharmacies along the way. Winnie asked me to help buy emergency medicine for Madam Rodriguez!"
"Jeremy, why are you showing me this interrogation? I won't believe a word Elliott says in support of Winnie!" Lawrence R disdainfully stood up. "Is there anything else?"

Lawrence R's breathing grew heavy. "Maybe they were playing a counter-surveillance game, buying the medicine first and then harming my mother, so they could escape in front of the police."
"Mr. L, I initially had the same thoughts as you," Benjamin's expression became complex. "Madam Rodriguez" turning into "persist vegetative states," I hate Winnie to death, but as I carefully recall from an outsider's perspective, Winnie has always been quite kind to Madam Rodriguez, their relationship is good, and there seems to be no motive for her to commit the crime."

Jeremy shrugged.
Lawrence R's gaze darkened; his thin lips tightened. He said, "Darcy said Winnie tampered with her mother. Isn't the video footage she provided a good proof?"
It was precisely because of that video Darcy took at the hospital that made Lawrence R furious and firmly believe that Winnie was the culprit.
However, Jeremy shook his head and smiled, "Speaking of this, I'll take you somewhere."
"Where?"
In the middle of the night, Darcy received a call from Jeffery, "Miss Ordelia, things are not looking good."
"What happened?" Darcy's face slightly changed.
"I discreetly investigated and found out that Jeremy has been following the police's investigation into the kidnapping case. He's been going door to door, finding a pharmacy with surveillance footage. She couldn't let that bitch have a chance. Darcy narrowed her eyes and thought of tonight at Rock's... She suddenly sneered, "When Winnie went to the hotel to rescue Rock in the middle of the night, she was trapped. I told you to find the video and photos, but you still haven't found them?"
"This..." "Keep looking. If someone was plotting against Rock, they would have secretly recorded it. As long as Mr. L discovers what Winnie and Rock did, he will never forgive her in this lifetime!"
