Chapter 628 Sean Gets Tricked
Jeremy scratched his head helplessly. Ever since Lawrence turned into this love-struck fool, he was finding it harder to manage him.
He tried to reason. "Hey, you need to come back home soon. Your dad is really worried, he's ended up in the hospital! Also, the chip research has been a success, and there's a lot of data... Who knows how many people are looking at it like a piece of meat right now."

"You may not care," Lawrence retorted, pressing his face into her soft neck, his tone growing colder.
"But let me make it clear, with the success of the chip development, don't even think about returning to Rock. It's even more out of the question now. In my eyes, he's like an ant that can be crushed at any moment!
He forcefully turned her face and kissed her tenderly.
Winnie closed her eyes weakly, too tired to resist.

He was ecstatic, throwing money at the club manager to book the most luxurious private room.
"Bring some hostesses over!" He slammed his long legs on the table, directing the wealthy young men beside him, "You guys can spend as much as you want tonight. I've booked this place, and we, the Rodriguez family, will be the richest in the world in the future!"

His drinking buddies praised him.

Someone stood up, "I think Larry is right. The Rodriguez Group's chip wasn't developed by him. What's Sean showing off for? If it weren't for his father's current power, I wouldn't even bother praising him!"
"We've never thought highly of him. He's just a fool who doesn't know it himself. Haha!"
Sean's face changed suddenly, and he rushed in angrily, "Larry, what the hell did you say about me? How dare you, a lackey of the Jenkins family, insult me? I'll beat you to death today!"
"This fool is back. Come on! I look down on you. You're the unwanted son of the Rodriguez family. You're not even a match for one of Lawrence's toes. Do you understand?"
"Damn you!" Sean rushed forward in anger.
Larry quickly engaged in a scuffle with him, signaling a few bodyguards in the shadows to join in.
Soon, Sean was beaten black and blue, lying on the ground.
Larry stepped on his face and sneered, "Worthless. Do you have any real power in the Rodriguez Group? Do you think you're something just because you're related to Lawrence? I'll beat you to death today!"
He continued to punch and kick.
In tears and fear, Sean pleaded, "Larry, please stop! I'm also one of the heirs of the Rodriguez Group. You're asking for trouble by hitting me!"
"Oh my goodness, everyone, listen to this! What kind of joke is this? Sean, there's only one king in the Rodriguez family, and that's Lawrence! You're an heir? A self-proclaimed heir?"

"Sean?" a devilish voice called out. Sean looked up abruptly and saw Mars!
Mars swiftly knocked Larry down with two punches, pulled Sean up, and raised an eyebrow, saying, "Sean, are you allowing yourself to be treated like this out there? You're bringing shame to the Rodriguez family!"
Sean seemed to spot his knight in shining armor, blubbering out, "They started it! They made fun of me and then beat me up! Mars, what on earth are you doing here?"
