Chapter 215 Engagement in Five Days
Winnie clenched her fists, feeling a cold emptiness in her heart. He no longer believed anything.
And she felt disappointed, no longer holding onto any hope.
She mockingly said, "Of course our engagement is real, just like you and the CEO of Imperial Jewelry, happily going your separate ways."
Finally, she admitted it herself, eagerly getting engaged to another man!
Lawrence R's eyes became fierce as frost in the corners. Suddenly, he embraced Darcy's waist and said, "Luke, bring forward the date of our engagement. I want to celebrate it grandly throughout the city."
Luke looked at the impulsive Imperial Jewelry's CEO and sighed inwardly, "Imperial Jewelry's CEO, but Miss Ordelia's birthday is just eight days away. How much earlier do you want to make it?"
"The day before that bitch couple's engagement will do."
Winnie's lips turned pale.
Darcy was delighted, "Mr. L, we need to prepare quickly. Shall we go and look at wedding dresses?"
"Why look at wedding dresses? Didn't you ask me to have a baby for you?" Lawrence R turned his head, kissed Darcy's temple, and lightly held her as they walked away.
Even though Winnie heard them already being intimate upstairs, and heard him saying those frivolous words, it still pained her deeply.

Jeremy and Benjamin exchanged glances. With Winnie's betrayal, Mr. L's psyche was fragile, and he would rely even more on Darcy.
He became more stubborn and headstrong. These days, he was sensitive and wouldn't listen to anyone.
Inside the carriage, Darcy faintly heard their conversation. A smile appeared on her face as she set her mind at ease.
The truth about Madam Rodriguez's kidney transplantation could be buried in the grave; Mr. L would never doubt her again!
Now, all she had to do was to anticipate the early wedding with Mr. L. He even mentioned wanting to conceive a child...
In a fleeting moment of shyness, the tall and erect figure of a man entered the carriage. Darcy blushed and leaned over. "Mr. L, shall we go back to the villa?"
Lawrence R paused and discreetly withdrew his hand, gently patting hers. "There's still business at the company. You should go and look at wedding dresses first. I'll find a wedding planner for the engagement ceremony. Just tell me what you want."
His rejection was subtle, and Darcy's expression slightly sank. But considering that it was daytime and he had just been angry at Winnie, she understood.
She had already caused Mr. L's relationship with Winnie to fall apart. Winnie and Rock's engagement was now settled.

Upstairs in the hospital.
Rock supported the limp woman in his arms and rushed into a doctor's office. Frowning, he urged, "Please check on her quickly."
Olivia and Laura followed closely behind, observing the man's every move.
The female doctor was baffled, but due to the man's refined demeanor, she promptly checked the fetal heartbeat.
"The baby is slightly agitated, but everything seems fine for now. Take some rest."
After the doctor finished speaking.
Rock let out a sigh of relief, and his attractive lips curved up.
Seeing that he was more anxious than herself, Winnie smiled. "Rock, the baby is fine, I can feel it. Thank you, today... If you hadn't brought the police, I don't know what would have happened to this child."

"Did it scare you?" He held her hand with warmth and gave it a gentle squeeze.
Rock frowned slightly, his dark eyes narrowing as he spoke, "The Harrington Group will have a board meeting in five days, and before that, I need you, my fiancée, to help me stabilize the situation."
"Then it will be five days later," Winnie responded calmly.
Rock seemed somewhat pleased, though his expression didn't reveal it. He crouched down and whispered to her, "I'll have the company make an announcement and prepare many things. But you don't need to worry at all. Just tell me your requirements, and I'll listen to every word, making you the most beautiful fiancée."
Winnie sighed helplessly, wanting to remind him that this engagement was fake. But his eyes were deep and profound, as if he knew what she was going to say. He interrupted her, glancing at his watch gracefully, "I apologize, but I have a meeting at noon and can't accompany you for lunch. Can I ask these two beautiful ladies," he gestured towards Olivia and Laura, "to keep Winnie company?"
Olivia blushed at his words, while Laura nodded with a gentle smile, "Mr. Harrington, you can consider yourself as Winnie's fiancé now."
