Chapter 935 Interrupting the Ceremony

Olivia couldn't care less about what these outsiders were saying.

This sham of a wedding wasn't her goal.

She glanced at Winnie, who stood silently with a cold expression. Winnie gave her a knowing look.

Olivia started walking forward, her smile not reaching her eyes. "Lynn, perfect timing. I need to talk to you privately. These reporters don't need to follow us, right?"

Lynn knew exactly what Olivia was anxious to ask. She narrowed her eyes, a cold smile playing on her lips.

The two walked inside, and as soon as they reached a secluded spot, Olivia quickly cornered Lynn against the wall, her eyes icy and her elbow ready to press against Lynn's throat. "I did everything you threatened me to do. I got the marriage license with Sam, and we're having the wedding today. Where's my dad's antidote? Hand it over!"

Lynn grabbed her wrist, raising an eyebrow with a sinister smile. "I have the antidote with me. But the wedding isn't over yet. I need to see it through to the end to be sure. Once it's done, you'll get this half of the antidote to save your father. I suggest you don't make a scene and strangle me here. If the reporters catch it, who knows what they'll write? Jeremy will definitely come after you!"

Olivia refused to let go. "Show me the antidote now."

Lynn, eager to get to the chapel, impatiently revealed half a pill from her sleeve and shoved Olivia away, fearing she might snatch it. "See it? The antidote is with me, but it could be crushed at any moment. You better do as I say. I will keep my word; after all, I don't want your father's life."

Olivia's eyes narrowed, confirming that the color matched the previous half. Lynn had brought it, which was good. As long as it was on her, Olivia wasn't afraid of it disappearing.

Her heart sank, her gaze turning steely as she stared at Lynn with a strange, cold smile. "Lynn, you'll get what you want today."

For some reason, Lynn felt a chill down her spine at those words. She paused, then laughed harshly. "Of course, otherwise, would it be you getting what you want? Olivia, from today on, I'll completely crush you. I'll be Jeremy's wife, and you can imagine how miserable your life in the DeRoss Family will be. I'll make sure to torment you and your daughter!"

"Actually, I'm curious. Why do you hate me and my daughter so much?" Olivia's eyes were frosty.

Lynn stiffened. It was because Olivia had given birth to Jeremy's daughter, which was a constant thorn in her side. Just thinking about it filled her with resentment.

Her eyes flickered, and she replied vaguely, "Do I need a reason to hate? The more miserable you are, the happier I am. Jeremy belongs to me, and you have to pay the price for coveting him!"

Watching her walk away, Olivia didn't move, slowly rubbing the USB drive in her hand. The contents were enough to turn Lynn's day into a disaster. So, who would really lose?

Maybe everyone would.

She took a deep breath, clutching her dress tightly, and slowly stepped through the white doors of the chapel, which to her did not symbolize happiness.

12:08 PM.

The wedding march began, and the chapel was filled with guests, mostly Lymington's elite, families collaborating with the DeRoss Family, and their friends and relatives.

Louis, Theodosia, and Katerina sat in the front row.

Katerina kept glancing at Jeremy, her expression uneasy. Louis leaned in and whispered, "Why do you keep looking at Jeremy?"

"He doesn't look like he's here to get married," Katerina said, puzzled by Jeremy's sudden decision to marry Lynn today.

Though he wore a white tuxedo, his handsome features were tinged with a hidden menace. Most people wouldn't notice, but as his mother, Katerina knew him well.

His eyes were impatient, hidden behind cold glasses, making it hard to see the signs. Louis hadn't noticed. "If he's not here to get married, then what?"

Louis chuckled, squeezing Katerina's hand. "Today is a double celebration. Jeremy will settle the rumors about Lynn, and Sam is finally settling down. It's a good thing. As for how Jeremy treats Lynn after the wedding, I don't care. Neither should you."

Louis had never approved of Lynn's past actions and still didn't. His goal was to use Jeremy's marriage to maintain the DeRoss Family's reputation and prevent their rivals from finding any weaknesses. Men getting married once or twice wasn't unusual. Later, he could find a suitable match for Jeremy from a prominent family...

Olivia stood at the entrance, holding a bouquet, and immediately spotted the striking figure next to the priest.

Tall and slender, he stood there in an expensive, custom-made white suit, like an unattainable nobleman. The cold glasses masked his sinister aura, making him appear refined and clear.

Olivia knew it was just a facade. He was terrifying and powerful, his ruthlessness hidden. Lately, he seemed even more unpredictable.

Maybe it was because of her.

She told herself that today, she had to face the awkward situation and continue down this difficult path.

One last look at him...

As the music played, Olivia walked towards Sam like a lifeless puppet.

Sam stared at her, then at the elegantly dressed Lynn, feeling his dignity crushed by Olivia. She hadn't even put on makeup, her face a picture of misery. Was she trying to show everyone she didn't want to marry him?

Just wait. Tonight, he would show her his true power. After all, the baby was gone.

Sam's eyes gleamed with a twisted heat.

Jeremy noticed everything, remaining expressionless, his tongue pressing against the roof of his mouth in a cruel smile. He stood with one hand in his pocket as Lynn, tearfully and eagerly, approached him. "Jeremy, I'm finally marrying you!"

Jeremy didn't even look at her, unmoved.

Lynn felt a bit awkward, but she walked up to the altar, standing close to the tall Jeremy. She glanced at Olivia, who stood quietly like a puppet, and called out sweetly, "Honey, it's time to exchange rings."

The priest stood on the platform, addressing the two couples.

He looked at Sam and asked, "Sam, do you take this beautiful bride, Olivia, to be your wife, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health?"

Sam answered loudly, "I do..."

"Hold on!" Jeremy's lips pressed together, his hawk-like eyes piercing Sam as he interrupted the vows.

The room fell silent.
