Chapter 276 Her Drunken Appearance

Alan: [Um, sorry, I ran into my ex-girlfriend. It might be a bit troublesome to resolve. Winnie, just take a cab yourself!]

"..." WOW! He really is a beast.

Winnie fiercely pinched her forehead, speechless. Why would Lena be infatuated with a playboy like Alan?

She had a headache. Her cousin was such a pure and simple girl, still in her early twenties.

If Winnie hadn't discovered a secretly taken photo of Alan in Lena's room once, she wouldn't have known that Lena had a secret crush on him!

Later, she asked George about it, and it turned out that Alan had approached Lena first in order to use her uncle.

Lena must have been deceived!

He was also a despicable jerk who was incredibly immature. Back then, he did all sorts of bad deeds to deal with Lawrence R.

Winnie didn't want Lena to have any involvement with Alan...

"Umm..." Lost in her thoughts for a while, Winnie got up and supported herself against the hotel wall as she walked out.

This place was remote and upscale, with only one road leading down the mountain. Where could she find a taxi?

Winnie cursed inwardly and walked for several tens of meters, when suddenly a burning sensation surged up from her stomach.

Rolling, she couldn't bear the pain and had to find a tree trunk to quickly bend down. But she couldn't vomit, and in the end, she had no choice but to sit down again. The cold night breeze of early spring made her feel chilly, and she was dressed thinly. Her skirt lifted with her sitting posture.

She took a glance and noticed that it was a parking lot filled with luxury cars, which meant there wouldn't be a lack of men. Winnie quickly took out her phone, wanting to contact someone to pick her up.

She hesitated on Rock's name for a moment when suddenly her phone slipped and fell to the ground. Her vision blurred as she bent down to pick it up...

"Miss, why are you alone here?" someone helped her pick it up.

Winnie was about to say thank you, but the middle-aged man didn't return it to her. He scanned her legs, revealing a gaze filled with desire.

He moved the phone away and hypocritically said, "Are you drunk? Let me help you up to the car. I can take you back, alright?"

Winnie's eyes grew cold, and her headache intensified as she stood up. "Get lost."

"Give me back my phone."

The man hesitated for a moment, unexpectedly encountering someone fierce.

"Hey, woman, don't you know your place? Being drunk in the middle of the night, you're not anything good. Come with me, and I'll give you a good time."

"Get lost."

Winnie lifted her leg and delivered a kick.

The exposed slender leg underneath her skirt sliced through the air and struck the man. The man cried out, and Winnie quickly snatched back her phone, ready to run—

"Ah." Her long hair was firmly grabbed.

"You're asking for death, you wretched woman." The enraged man showed a vicious expression and was about to grab hold of Winnie and drag her into the car.

Suddenly, a chilling aura condensed around them.
"Let her go!" With a deep and cold voice, the middle-aged man hadn't even realized it when he was kicked onto the roof of a car.

"Who… who are you?" He spat out blood, terrified as he got up.

"Get lost!!"

Lawrence R stood tall and straight, his gaze sharp as he stared at the man who had fallen to the ground.

Winnie slowly raised her gaze. In the darkness, the towering figure of the man seemed to descend from the heavens, just like before.

For a moment, she couldn't distinguish between reality and memories...

"You... you wait for me!" The middle-aged man saw that he had no chance of winning and glanced resentfully at Winnie before scrambling away.

The parking lot fell into silence for a moment. Winnie tried hard to maintain some consciousness and tugged at the corner of her mouth. She was about to ask why he hadn't left yet when the man's phone rang.

His icy gaze left Winnie's face and skirt. Lawrence R saw that it was Darcy calling, and his eyes subtly changed.

He turned away and answered affectionately, "Hello?"

"Mr. L, it's eight o'clock. Did the dinner party end? When will you be back? I've prepared soup for you."

"Just let the servants handle it."

"How can the servants' cooking compare to mine? I want you to put a cold compress on my face. Can you do that?"

"Alright, I'll be back soon."

Winnie wasn't deaf. Hearing his tender voice, she knew who the caller was. A mocking sneer appeared at the corner of her mouth.

Lawrence R hung up the phone, didn't look at Winnie for a moment, and brushed her coldly. It turned out that his car was parked on the inside.

She threw herself into his sturdy arms, vomiting until she almost brought up her bile.

".........."
The parking lot fell silent, the wind leaving no trace! The man's body seemed frozen, emitting an icy rage.

"You...damn woman."

Lawrence R, with an extremely gloomy expression, covered his nose rigidly, his face turning completely dark.
He had a serious case of cleanliness!

After Winnie finished vomiting, she suddenly realized that she was in big trouble. She had no choice but to pretend to be ignorant and innocently raise her head.

"Sorry, I couldn't control myself when I vomited in front of you..."

".........."

Lawrence R paused for a moment, then firmly grasped her fair chin, laughed, and his chilling eyes invaded her space.

"Quite quick-witted, aren't you? This shirt cost eight hundred thousand dollars."

Now it was Winnie's turn to be speechless.

"You're extorting me like this?"

"Aren't you drunk? Your reaction to money is quite quick, huh?"

".........."

"Wash it clean for me, or compensate me with eight hundred thousand US dollars."

"You’re shameless, why did you come back?" Winnie was furious.

Lawrence R's eyes stiffened for a moment, his face turning even darker. He didn't answer that question but quickly wiped the shirt before taking it off and stuffing it into her arms.

Winnie was extremely angry at his prank. This man was so disgusting!

Unfortunately, she had no resistance and was lifted up by him, carried on his shoulder.

After spinning in circles for a while, when she finally touched the ground again, they were already back at the hotel front desk.

The man tossed out a card. "Book a room."
The front desk attendant blushed slightly at his cold and magnetic appearance. This man exuded a mature and sexy vibe. Even booking a room had a hint of a 'going to bed' connotation.

She couldn't help but steal a glance at Winnie, feeling that this tipsy woman was quite lucky.

Winnie felt embarrassed because of the front desk attendant's gaze. Come on, they didn't have that kind of relationship.

She rolled her eyes secretly and subconsciously explained, "Don't misunderstand, we don't have that kind of relationship."

"I understand," the front desk attendant winked ambiguously and handed over the room key. "2033, it's all set. Enjoy your evening, esteemed guests."

Winnie was completely speechless and decided to stay quiet.

Lawrence R took a few steps and looked back at the motionless drunken woman, his lips curling coldly.

"Let's go, have a good time."

The front desk attendants whispered, "He's a mature man, full of hormones. His physique is impressive!"

".........." Winnie knew that he wanted to embarrass her. With an ashen face, she stepped into the elevator.

They remained silent all the way until they reached room 2033. Only then did Winnie slowly realize why she had followed him upstairs. She could have asked the front desk to call a driver while they were downstairs.

Seemingly seeing through the thoughts in her sparkling eyes, Lawrence R sneered and tugged at his lips.

"Get in there and clean yourself up, and also my shirt."

Sure enough, he wanted her to wash his shirt.

Three years apart, and he had become even stingier. Winnie cursed in her heart, disgusted, as she threw the stained shirt into the bathroom.

The frosted glass door closed, reflecting the hazy and beautiful figure of a woman. The sound of running water echoed. A hint of ambiguity inexplicably added to the quiet guest room.

Lawrence R's throat felt dry, and only now did he release his profound gaze.

He raised his hand and pressed his brow, walking to the liquor cabinet, feeling restless and inexplicably wanting to have a drink to calm down.

If he didn't bring her into the room, things might go wrong.

He planned to finish his drink and leave; Darcy was still waiting for him at home.

Suddenly, there was a loud noise from the bathroom, but he didn't pay attention, slowly sipping his drink.

Immediately after, the bathroom door opened and a figure, completely naked, rushed out – a woman with an incomparable beauty that was enchanting.

Lawrence R's gaze remained fixed, his throat momentarily dry, and his eyes became burning and profound.

He let out a quick breath, turning his tall figure towards the window, and angrily said, "Winnie, do you have a problem? What trick are you shamelessly playing?"

Even he himself didn't notice, his voice became terrifyingly hoarse, as if it was being roasted by the flames surging in his body.

"No..." Winnie, in a blurred state due to intoxication, mumbled in fear, "It seems like there's a spider on the window."

"This is the second floor, very clean. What spider could there be?" Lawrence R scoffed. "Don't make excuses to seduce me, put on your clothes!"

She wasn't wearing any clothes?

Winnie hesitantly looked down and immediately let out an "ah," her face turning red and embarrassed. When she showered just now, her dress accidentally slipped off, leaving her with only the most simplistically described undergarments.

In a hurry, she ran back to the bathroom and explained, "I didn't do it on purpose, I forgot."

"..." Who would believe that?

But her soft and innocent voice, intoxicated and cute, hooked onto his heart like a bait. Lawrence R felt his body heating up and restlessly loosened his tie.

Before he could recover his senses, there was another loud noise from the bathroom, and the sound of a woman falling was particularly clear!

"It hurts so much..."

"What the fuck is wrong with you again?" Lawrence R's veins bulged, restraining himself from going there, and even felt that he should leave now.

"I think I twisted my waist, L, come take a look."

Something surged from deep within his memory – the beginning of their acquaintance, where he allowed her to call him that.

But later, during their sweet times, it became her term of endearment, L. When she would bite her cherry lips and utter that letter, it was so alluring and charming.

Lawrence R's body stiffened abruptly.

Perhaps realizing what he had said, the woman in the bathroom fell silent. Lawrence R didn't know what was going on with her.

Tonight, everything seemed to become a bit chaotic.

She was drunk, and her behavior was completely different from the cold and unfamiliar face she had upon returning.

Her turmoil and meddling reminded him of something from three years ago. Lawrence R hated this woman, and he hated every memory associated with her.

However, with his fists clenched, he inexplicably found himself standing in front of the bathroom door. He forcefully pushed it open, and sure enough, there she lay fragilely by the edge of the bathtub, in an awkward and embarrassed position, having fallen.

"You, don't come over, I'm not wearing clothes," Winnie bit her lip and said helplessly, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Now you feel ashamed? What kind of ghost were you just now when you ran out? And why do you mind now? Besides, I've seen every inch of your body," Lawrence R walked over irritably, grabbing a towel from the shelf and coldly covering her tempting figure.

He tightened his thin lips and squatted down, pulling her arm abruptly.

Winnie happened to look up, and unexpectedly, her lips brushed against the clean sideburns of the man.

There was a sudden pause in the air --

Lawrence R's cheeks tightened instantly, feeling the softness of the woman's cherry-like lips and the intoxicating, sweet scent between breaths...

He knew how delightful she tasted. Those few occasions three years ago were unforgettable, deeply etched into his memory, a sensation that consumed him.

Damn it, his Adam's apple rolled heavily, his body involuntarily tense, clamoring...
