Chapter 813 Ambiguous Affection
Those three days and nights on Azure Isle were memories she could never erase in her lifetime.
However, she had decided to bury it. Even if she told him, it wouldn't change anything between them.
"Jeremy, what nonsense are you talking about?" Olivia said bitterly, pretending to be surprised as she glanced at him.
Jeremy looked at her sweet face.
Images of her moaning beneath him flashed through his mind, causing him to almost slam on the brakes. His face flushed red. Damn it, how could he have such fantasies about Olivia?
The images were so vivid.
Since she denied it, he awkwardly tried to clear the fragmented images from his mind, "You can just think I'm talking nonsense! I don't even know what I'm saying. Yeah, how could I possibly... I have a fiancée."
"Yeah," Olivia's heart ached, and she lowered her eyes with a forced smile, "You have a fiancée. Besides, even if I were with another man, it wouldn't be you. My daughter with Sam is already over two years old."
It completely sobered him up.
He had always had a vague liking for Olivia.
He had been ignoring this important fact: she had been with Sam and had a child.
Jeremy gripped the steering wheel tightly, his thin lips pressed into a cold line. "You don't need to keep reminding me of your relationship with Sam! Olivia, I really don't get you. Do you have a masochistic tendency? Do you still want to marry Sam?"
Olivia's fingertips tightened. She felt insulted and let out a cold laugh, "So what if I want to marry Sam? Can you stop me?"
"Yeah, I can't stop you. We have nothing to do with each other!"
Jeremy was also angry, furrowing his brows. Before he disappeared, he had saved Olivia and her daughter from Mars, and their relationship had become closer, even ambiguous.
But why did he feel that Olivia was acting strangely towards him now that he had regained his memory and returned?
It seemed like she was deliberately distancing herself.
"Jeremy, just drive and stop arguing with her." In the back seat, Lawrence, who was entangled and sweating slightly, spoke with a hoarse voice.
Jeremy snapped back to reality, stopped looking at Olivia, and stepped on the gas pedal.
They finally returned to Lawrence's villa.
Lawrence immediately carried the limp Winnie and quickly walked into the house.
In the children's room, Sidney and Oscar were still awake. Hearing the commotion, the two kids rushed downstairs.
Sidney was shocked to see Winnie in such a state, "Daddy, what happened to Mommy?"
"She's hurt."
"Did Rock hit her again?" Sidney roared in anger, anxiously following Lawrence, running quickly, "What should we do, Daddy? Why didn't you take Mommy to the hospital? She looks like she's going to die!"
"Sidney, your daddy will save your mommy," Jeremy quickly reassured Sidney.
"But Daddy doesn't know medicine. How can he save her?"
"Anyway, your mommy's condition needs your daddy to save her," Olivia glanced at Jeremy and awkwardly explained.
Sidney nodded, "Oh, then I'll help too! Daddy, what are you going to do?"
Seeing Sidney roll up his sleeves, Jeremy and Olivia fell silent.
Lawrence's brow twitched slightly, "Sidney, don't get involved. I'm taking your mommy upstairs. You two don't come up and disturb us tonight."
"But I'm worried about Mommy!" Sidney cried.
"Enough," Oscar rarely interrupted with a serious face.
Although he didn't fully understand, he remembered that in Perugia City, when Lawrence was affected by something Darcy gave him, he and Winnie had spent the whole night in the room to get better.
He vaguely knew that only when Lawrence and Winnie were alone could they heal each other.
Now, seeing the severe injuries on Winnie's face, he was even more furious that Rock had hurt Winnie again!
He had wanted to help Winnie this time, but she refused, and he couldn't get any information from Zachary.
This led to Winnie almost getting into trouble at Rock's villa today.
Fortunately, Bentley notified them in time, and Olivia and Jeremy returned. Lawrence then knew what Winnie had been doing and immediately rushed to save her.
Oscar silently vowed, he hadn't seen Rock clearly before, but now, he would never let Rock off the hook again!
Upstairs, as soon as Lawrence closed the bedroom door, Winnie clung to him, completely out of control, even scratching her own skin.
Lawrence was frightened and immediately held her, pressing his lips to hers, "Winnie, calm down. Damn it, what did Rock give you?"
Undoubtedly, this time was much worse than the time in the wine cellar.
She was completely out of it, as if she had taken some drug.
He picked her up and gently laid her on the bed, tenderly and painfully removing her remaining clothes.
That night was long and arduous. By the time her breathing finally steadied, it was almost dawn.
Lawrence finally stopped. His muscular body was covered in sweat, his back marked with scratches, and even his chiseled jaw was bitten. The room was filled with an intense and unusual atmosphere.
Lawrence got out of bed, opened the floor-to-ceiling window for ventilation.
His voice was extremely hoarse as he dialed Jeremy's number, "Jeremy, get a doctor over here. She still hasn't woken up. I'm worried the drugs might have affected her internal organs, possibly causing failure."
"Okay, Lawrence, right away!"
After hanging up, Lawrence changed the sheets for the fourth time. He sat by the bed, gently stroking her pale yet enchanting face, "Winnie."
A knock on the door sounded.
It was Olivia, "Lawrence, it's already dawn. How is Winnie?"
Lawrence put on a shirt and trousers, walked to the door, opened it slightly, and frowned, "She hasn't woken up yet."
"What's going on?" Olivia couldn't help but worry. The drug should have worn off, and Winnie should have naturally woken up comfortably.
She thought of something and looked at Lawrence with disdain, "Is it because you couldn't do it and didn't act as the antidote? Lawrence, if you couldn't do it, why didn't you take her to the hospital last night? You might have delayed her best treatment time!"
Lawrence's face instantly darkened, his brow twitching violently. He almost spat the words through gritted teeth, "Who said I couldn't do it? Do you want to come and check if I had sex with her?"
