Chapter 650 Talking to Him

Winnie struggled to keep her mind from going blank. She asked angrily, "Lawrence, why do you have Olivia's phone? Did you take her? Are you addicted to kidnapping people? How long are you going to keep hurting me and everyone around me?"

Thinking about everything that happened on the island, she couldn't control her anger and still felt a lingering fear.

Lawrence looked extremely embarrassed by her words. His Adam's apple bobbed, his deep eyes dark and hiding a hint of pain. "Winnie, you just got back, and this is all you have to say to me?"

He couldn't believe she hadn't seen the news about the Rodriguez Group's chip being destroyed. 'Didn't she want to ask about it at all?'

"What else do you want me to say?" Winnie snapped. "You kidnapped my friend! Lawrence, you're getting more and more out of line. And I heard Jeremy's missing, which is ultimately your fault. If you hadn't kidnapped me and dumped everything on him, he wouldn't have become someone else's target. The one who should pay the price is you!"

Lawrence's cold, stern face was chilling. He laughed lowly. "You think the one who should be missing and die is me. That's what you really hope for, right?"

Winnie fell silent, which implied consent. She didn't want to get entangled with him, so she said coldly, "I don't believe Jeremy would harm the Rodriguez Group by stealing chips. His disappearance is your responsibility. He's also my friend who has helped me a lot. I will investigate his whereabouts. As for Olivia, don't force her! She just had Jeremy's child. She and Jeremy don't have any overly close relationship. Why did you take her? Do you think taking her will make her tell you Jeremy's whereabouts? Are you out of your mind? You should be going after people like the Peterson family and Mars."

"Winnie?" Olivia had restored some data and came out of the computer room, shocked to hear Winnie's voice. She glanced at Lawrence, whose face was extremely cold and gloomy. Her heart trembled, and she said awkwardly, "Winnie, I was indeed 'invited' by Lawrence."

"Olivia! I know you're in his hands. Don't say anything good about him out of fear. I don't believe he won't hurt you. You don't know what kind of person he is," Winnie said angrily in a low voice.

Lawrence's face fell into the shadows, his eyes cold as ice.

Olivia felt even more awkward and explained, "Winnie, it's really a misunderstanding. I tracked Jeremy's last call before he disappeared. I was his last contact, so Lawrence came to ask me. He wants me to restore the data of the call to follow the address to find Jeremy."

Winnie paused, gripping her phone tightly. "Has the address been restored? If it has, come back quickly. I don't want to see anyone around me in danger anymore. Besides, Mia has been crying for you."

"It'll take a while longer, Winnie. I'm really anxious too. Jeremy was shot. If we don't find him soon, I'm afraid he won't make it."

Winnie's breath turned cold, her throat choking. "I'll take Mia home first. If there's any news about Jeremy, tell me immediately."

"Okay."

Lawrence looked at Olivia's phone. 'She cared so much about Jeremy that she hung up without hesitation. From beginning to end, she saw him as a villain. In her heart, I would probably always be a demon.'

His face was full of bitterness, his gaze turned cold.

Olivia glanced at him. Although she thought he deserved it because his sin of kidnapping Winnie could never be forgiven, she inexplicably felt that at this moment, Lawrence was heartbroken. With the Rodriguez family company in trouble and Jeremy's life uncertain, he must be feeling bad too.

Winnie took Mia out of the hospital and into the car, managing to stop Mia from crying after much coaxing.

Back at the Dazzling Estate villa, she made some food for Mia. After finishing the meal, she saw the nanny bringing Sidney back.

Winnie felt a bit uneasy and immediately asked, "Where's Oscar, Sidney? Wasn't he with you?"

It was already afternoon. Oscar had left after Winnie went out to find Olivia.

Sidney hesitated. "Mommy, Oscar went back to Dr. Leo's house."

Winnie knew Oscar had said he wanted to go back last night and had only stayed at home for one night. But she hadn't had time to investigate what was going on with Dr. Leo. How did Oscar go back so quickly?

She took off her apron. "Sidney, you are his older brother. You knew Oscar going back to Dr. Leo's house would be dangerous. Why didn't you stop him? He's headstrong, but you don't persuade him. Are you on my side or not?"

'It's all because Oscar is trying to uncover a secret.'

Sidney was anxious and worried that Winnie would rashly barge into Dr. Leo's house. Just as Sidney didn't know what to do, Winnie's phone rang in her pocket.

"Aunt Winnie, your phone is ringing. Is it my Mommy calling?" Mia hurriedly took the phone out of the bag to let Winnie see.

Winnie glanced at it, her face changing slightly. She put down the apron, gesturing for the kids to be quiet, and walked to the window, holding her breath. "Aunt Gray, what's wrong?"

"Just now, a group of people broke into my house. They ransacked my home and took my son away! Lysander let me call you, and you know what happened. Since Lysander became Mr. Blanchet's assistant, he's been working hard and hasn't married yet. I don't want anything to happen to Lysander. You're Ms. Blanchet, right? You have to save my son!"

Winnie's eyes darkened. Patrick had acted so quickly.

"Aunt Gray, don't worry. Lysander is my father's benefactor. I won't let anything happen to him. When he was taken, did he have the company seal with him?"

"Yes, he took the Blanchet family company seal. After Mr. Blanchet's accident, he's been hiding it. I don't know why he suddenly took it out."

Winnie was silent, narrowing her eyes. 'Because I had asked Lysander to take it out on purpose!'

After hanging up, she quickly called a few informants Lysander had placed in the company and the senior shareholders who had gone with her to confront Patrick last time. Then she called Lysander's bodyguard captain. She needed a lot of manpower now. "Do you have Lysander's location?"

"Ms. Blanchet, we've been tracking Lysander's location. Patrick took him to a warehouse near the company, planning to deal with him there."

"Patrick want to play, we play."

Winnie coldly curled her lips. "Send some people to the Blanchet family villa and bring Eleanor to the Blanchet family group."

"Okay."

"Where's Ishara? Has she run away?"
