Chapter 303 Darcy Discovers Oscar Is Not Sidney

He's probably going to see his grandmother, Sidney has always liked Madam Rodriguez.
The man shook his head and smiled, passing by Darcy's bedroom without stopping, heading straight for the study.

Through the crack in the door, Darcy caught a glimpse of his cold profile, his eyes narrowing!

"That's enough, I'm not hurt, and all of you can leave!" Darcy angrily said to the doctor and nurses.

After everyone left, Barbara helped Darcy up.

"Don't be angry. Pretend to treat that little bastard nicely for the next few days, Mr. L's anger will eventually subside. Then, choose a suggestive evening to sleep with him! With a sexual relationship, he will naturally be doting towards you."

Darcy stared at Barbara, her complexion gradually softening.

Forget waiting, she wanted to use the medicine tonight! Unfortunately, the timing didn't allow it, they were currently having a disagreement.

Master and servant arrived downstairs, and Darcy asked with a darkened face, "Where is that little brat?"

In her peripheral vision, she noticed a small backpack and picked it up. Kindergarten backpacks were always empty, young children didn't have homework.

Her finger pressed on a certain spot, causing her to grimace.

Darcy unzipped it and took something out.

Her gaze shifted downward, and she saw that familiar bottle of asthma medication, her eyes narrowing suddenly!

It's this medicine again?

It disappeared for two days, and now it reappeared!

She distinctly remembered questioning Sidney, who denied needing such medication.

Then, who needs to use this inhaler?

Darcy's thoughts gradually sank as she squinted and recalled the distinct behaviors of Sidney these past few days.

Last time, she suspected if this child was sick or had a personality disorder.

But reflecting on today, Sidney fought with five children at the kindergarten, without getting injured himself, but leaving them with bloody noses.

Sidney was physically weak and often sick. How could he have this kind of strength? Even the taekwondo teacher said his physical condition was too poor and needed improvement.

If it's the same child, even if they have a split personality, there wouldn't be such a huge difference in physical abilities!

Unless, someone else is taking his place?

Darcy's heart tightened, and a layer of chilling suspicion crept up her spine.

Her gaze constantly shifting, she immediately called out to Barbara, "Hurry, go and find Sidney for me. I want to take a close look at his face!"

“Wait!” Darcy was afraid of alarming Lawrence R upstairs. Besides, she couldn't fathom the possibility of a child who looked exactly like Sidney existing in the world.

If there was, they would already be dead, buried in the cemetery! What on earth was going on?

Darcy grabbed Barbara again, put the asthma medication back in the child's backpack, and gave her a sinister and gloomy look. "I'll go find him myself. Don't touch his medication and don't tell Mr. L either."

"Miss Ordelia, Julia said Sidney went towards the backyard."

Did he go to meet his vegetative grandmother?

Darcy immediately made her way towards the standalone building. This 'Sidney' was quite peculiar, and she had been having a string of bad luck with this child. She needed to investigate thoroughly!

-

Inside the single-story room.

Oscar entered with the new medication, and Grandma Taylor was using a feeding tube to provide nutrition to her persistently vegetative state grandmother.

"Sidney, you found some free time to come?" Taylor turned around and smiled happily.

Oscar pretended to be nonchalant and responded with a cold smile. Taking advantage of Taylor's distraction, he closed all the windows using the remote control.

After Taylor finished feeding and was preparing to tidy up the tubes, Oscar approached and whispered, "Grandma Taylor, didn't you say last time that grandmother ran out of medication?"

"Shh..." Taylor quickly glanced around and then shouted outside the room, "Turn off the surveillance temporarily. Madam Rodriguez's clothes got dirty and need to be changed."

Once the security guard turned off the surveillance, Taylor closed the door and pulled Oscar inside.

In a solemn tone, she said, "We need to be cautious. Last time, I said the medication ran out, but I can make more. Miss Anderson, Mrs. L, said we would switch to a new medication after three years."

"Alright, I brought it!" Oscar proudly presented a small bag containing around thirty pills. He didn't understand the dosage since he stole them from his mommy and didn't dare to ask.

However, his mommy's self-developed pills had sufficient ingredients.

Thinking carefully, he proposed, "Grandma Taylor, let Grandma have one pill a day for a month. As for the remaining pills, I'll bring them gradually. Let's do it secretly. It would be wonderful if one day Grandma secretly wakes up and gives us a pleasant surprise."

Taylor stared at the pills, her eyes wide in shock. It took her some time to regain her composure and express her doubts, "Sidney! Where did you get this medicine from? I can't give the elderly lady medication with an unknown origin!"

Oscar smiled knowingly, coughed, and held Grandma Taylor's hand, "Naturally, I got it from my mommy."

"You’re... Miss Anderson?" Taylor stuttered in astonishment and pulled the little guy closer, filled with excitement. "Did you see your birth mother?"

"Yes, Grandma Taylor, I secretly found Mommy, so the source of the medicine, you don't have to doubt, this is Mommy's meaning, feed it to Grandma."

"Where's Miss Anderson? Has she finally returned? She..."
At this moment, there was a flash of light outside the standalone building.

Oscar was very cautious and made a hand gesture, prompting Taylor to immediately look outside the closed window.

Someone is here!

"Hide the medicine!" Oscar said.

Taylor quickly tucked it into the inner pocket of his clothes, and the two of them quickly separated.

"Sidney?" The door was suddenly pushed open, and Darcy's cold gaze swept in.
Oscar sat coldly on the sofa, while Madam Rodriguez's upper body clothing was being taken off by Taylor, who was busy.

"You came to see your grandmother, it's time to go back. Mommy will take you for a bath," Darcy said.

Meanwhile, a pair of sharp eyes scanned every corner of the sickroom.

At that moment, a foul smell wafted in.

"Oh, Madam Rodriguez went to the toilet!" Taylor exclaimed, then obediently looked at Darcy and said, "Miss Ordelia, I'm sorry, I wanted to invite you in for a moment, but I have to change her diaper."

"No need to sit, I'll come see Madam Rodriguez next time." Darcy smiled while covering her nose. It was dilapidated and filled with the smell of medicine.

She glanced at the pale madam Rodriguez lying on the hospital bed.

Every month, her doctor would report on the old lady's condition, but it was like dealing with a living dead person, without any signs of improvement.

She dragged Oscar away with disgust.

The two of them walked outside, and the light in the backyard was dim and gloomy, making Darcy's eyes appear even more dark and sharp.

She suddenly stopped Oscar, grabbed his wrist, and checked his pulse.

Ever since Oscar was young, he had been looked after by Mommy, so as soon as this woman touched him, he cleverly knew what she was up to.

She would also check his pulse?

Oscar cleverly deduced something and quickly slowed down his breathing, suppressing his vitality.

Darcy's medical skills were average. After checking for a while, this little guy didn't have a strong pulse, not much different from Sidney's usual weakness.

She fixed her gaze upon him, looking at him closely.

Oscar squinted his eyes, tilted his head lazily, and said, "What are you looking at? Is there something on my face? Mommy!"

"Sidney, how did you defeat five kids today without getting hurt? You didn't have such good physical strength before."
"Maybe I was bullied too hard and exploded." Oscar didn't believe it either.

Darcy approached his face, burst into a sinister smile, and suddenly said, "Do you know, Sidney never called me Mommy, he's very stubborn!"

Oscar was slightly surprised, but he wasn't nervous either. He and Sidney were bound to have differences, it was impossible to act exactly the same.

But their faces were the same. As long as they appeared separately, no one would recognize the difference.

He coldly stared at Darcy and pretended to be in distress, "I won't call you Mommy, you'll go tell Daddy that I'm not obedient! Fine, I'll call you, then you suspect that I have ulterior motives, you, Mommy!"

"It's really difficult to deal with you. Why don't you just leave?"

Accompanied by the light laughter of the child, Darcy glared darkly at the bastard as he walked away.

She was so angry that she felt like she was about to spit blood, but her eyes became even sharper. She had fallen into the hands of this little guy one after another, and it was definitely not a coincidence.

Darcy stood up, her mind racing as she thought of an impossible possibility. Her face quickly changed color.

After some consideration, she made a phone call to Barbara.

"Jeffery is not here anymore. You quickly have mother assign someone to investigate and see if there are any children like Sidney around Winnie?!"

If there was only one 'Sidney', then there would be nothing strange.

If it wasn't a child, then... Darcy tightly clenched her phone, feeling anxious and restless.

Ever since Winnie came back, everything seemed to be out of her control...!
