Olivia nodded, "I went to see Sam first. He made a condition: if I want him to let my dad go, I have to marry him right away."
"Marry him?" Winnie's eyes widened in shock, suddenly understanding. "This has Lynn written all over it."
"Exactly. The two of them made some kind of deal. Lynn came up with the plan, and Sam executed it. Over two months, they set traps step by step, framing Finn and my dad! Now they've got my dad involved in a murder case, and she's using it to blackmail me."
"You went to her hospital room just now, and she admitted it?"
"Yeah, I recorded it." Olivia pulled out a voice recorder, but her expression was grim. She covered her cold eyes, filled with anxiety. "But she had Sam secretly poison my dad. The poison will cause heart failure in three days. This recording won't save him in time. Today, I had no choice but to agree to her terms."
Winnie's face turned pale.
Olivia let out a bitter laugh. "But in return, I broke one of her hands. The most urgent thing now is to get the antidote from her and save my dad's life! After that, before I marry Sam, my dad will be released. On Lynn's wedding day, I'll give her an unexpected gift. I'll make sure she has no place to hide when she marries Jeremy."
Winnie could see that Olivia was planning a revenge scheme. But the cost was too high—she had to marry that jerk Sam.
Winnie grabbed her hand and shook her head. "No, Olivia. You can't marry Sam and throw your life away!"
"What else can I do? In three days, I can't take her down with me—that's my dad's life on the line. Lynn has calculated everything, using my happiness to ruin her wedding, just to disgust Jeremy completely. She's succeeded. But I won't let her get married smoothly. I'll destroy her and Jeremy's wedding. They won't get away with this!"
"Does Jeremy know what Lynn's done?" Winnie shook her head, not believing it.
"Whether he knows it or not, he's already marrying Lynn. Isn't that protecting her and becoming an accomplice?" Olivia couldn't forget the cold look in his eyes in the hospital room. He had admitted: why would he marry her, a woman who had been with countless men?
That disgust and disdain had crushed her spirit, making her finally decide to give up the child she was carrying.
She looked up at Winnie and said, "Before I marry Sam, I'll get rid of the baby."
"Olivia?"
"I've made up my mind. My dad ordered me from prison, and I can't disobey him. Besides, Jeremy won't lack children in the future. He plans to have three kids with Lynn." She let out a cold laugh, her heart aching. "This hidden danger shouldn't be left behind."
Winnie saw the pain on her face and felt her own heart tighten. "I can't agree to you ruining your life by marrying Sam, even for your dad..."
"Of course, I won't really marry him." Olivia clenched the voice recorder in her hand, gritting her teeth. "I've recorded everything Sam did, too. Neither he nor Lynn will escape on their wedding day. Once my dad is safe and released, I'll take them both down. The so-called wedding will be our funeral! I won't let them succeed. No one will have a good time."
Olivia spoke with a determination to destroy everything, her voice icy cold.
Winnie felt that Olivia had been consumed by hatred, and maybe Jeremy had made her even more heartbroken. Had she just seen Jeremy at the hospital?
She mentioned Jeremy and Lynn's wedding. That bastard, Jeremy, was really going to marry Lynn?
Winnie could almost guess that Olivia must have seen Jeremy taking care of Lynn, which had pierced her heart.
"Didn't you tell Jeremy about Lynn's crimes?" Winnie asked angrily. "If he steps in, your dad will definitely be released!"
Olivia looked at her with a bitter smile, suddenly resolute. "I'd rather die than beg Jeremy. He's on Lynn's side. I don't need to ask to know—they'll be a family. Winnie, what are you thinking?"

Winnie saw her self-mockery and guessed that Jeremy must have hurt her deeply.
She frowned, closed her mouth, and patted Olivia's much thinner shoulder. "Get in my car. I'll have the driver take you home. You've been in the rain too long. Do you want to get sick again? Leave your dad's matter to us."
"I'll call Sam right away to negotiate," Olivia said coldly, staggering into the car.
Winnie gave the driver instructions, then stood in the rain with an umbrella, watching the car slowly drive away.
She sighed heavily, looking at the rain and thinking of Jeremy, and she couldn't help but feel angry.
She took out her phone and immediately called Jeremy.
It rang several times before the jerk picked up.
Winnie took a deep breath but couldn't contain her anger. "Jeremy, I heard you're marrying Lynn. Is that true?"
"Who told you that?" Jeremy's voice was hoarse, seemingly indifferent.
Winnie was infuriated by his tone. "Olivia told me. Are you crazy? Ray said Lynn faked a suicide attempt the other morning, and you were called back to Lymington by your father overnight. I thought you were going to scold Lynn. Anyone with eyes can see she was faking it. What's wrong with you? Are you really going to marry such a scheming woman?"
"Olivia told you?" Jeremy laughed coldly, his voice chilling. He laughed, but it was a sinister sound. "She couldn't wait to announce my happy news!"
He was getting married, and to her, it was just gossip?
Jeremy's already simmering anger flared up again. He sneered, "Yes, I'm getting married. What, can't I?"
"But why Lynn?" Winnie was exasperated.
"Ms. Anderson, I respect you as Lawrence's woman, but my personal affairs are none of your business."
"It's not my business? Wait until Lawrence comes back and sees if he thinks it's his business! Are you insane? You like Olivia, but you're marrying Lynn. What are you thinking?"
Jeremy suddenly fell silent. He hadn't planned to marry Lynn, hadn't agreed to this marriage when he returned, and he never would.
But now, he didn't know what he was thinking. He only knew that if Olivia could marry Sam, then marrying Lynn was no big deal.
He wanted to retaliate against the heartless Olivia and see her regretful face on his wedding day.
