Chapter 951 Torturing Lynn

In a dimly lit room, Lynn was roughly shoved in by Jeremy's men.

She landed on the dirty, wet floor. The eerie surroundings, the almost non-existent lighting, and the strange iron racks nearby gave her a chilling feeling.

Since being tied up and brought here, Jeremy hadn't said a word to her.

Lynn had a hunch that Jeremy wanted to avoid causing a scene in front of the police station.

She was good at reading the situation and knew not to admit anything until the last moment.

Lynn gasped as she got up from the floor. Jeremy's tall figure stood in front of her, blocking the only incandescent light from the ceiling.

The harsh light cast shadows on his sharp features, making Jeremy's already sinister appearance even more menacing.

Lynn shivered inwardly, her eyes wide with feigned ignorance. "Jeremy, I don't understand what you're talking about. What do you mean I kidnapped Mia?"

One of Jeremy's men brought over a chair.

Jeremy sat down.

He didn't smirk, didn't even bother with an expression, just spoke in a cold, detached manner. "You kidnapped a child at this time. What are you planning to do with her? Kill her so I can't do a paternity test and prove she's my daughter?"

"Do you even know what intuition is, you foolish woman?"

Lynn's eyes flickered. He had guessed her intentions.

Jeremy didn't wait for a response. He stood up, his lean body like a sharp blade, advancing towards Lynn. "If you dare harm my child, you won't leave this room in one piece. Bring me a knife!"

He barked the order, his handsome face twisted in a calm yet terrifying manner.

One of his men immediately handed him a knife. It wasn't a fruit knife or a dagger, but a butcher's knife, with a blade so sharp it looked like it could cut through bone.

Lynn's eyes widened, and she stumbled back, falling to the ground.

Jeremy's long fingers lightly brushed the blade, his eyes downcast. "I need two things from you. Tell me where your people took the child, and give me the antidote for Jake."

Lynn stared at his impassive face, knowing the terrifying methods he was capable of.

But he couldn't be as calm as he appeared. After all, Mia's life was in her hands right now.

No matter how much she feared Jeremy, Lynn reminded herself that she had the upper hand.

"Do you think I'll go easy on you just because you're putting up a fight?" Jeremy glanced at her, the knife moving lightly in his hand.

Lynn was tense, watching him closely. Since he had already brought out the knife, there was no point in pretending anymore. He wouldn't let her go regardless.

She might as well seize the opportunity to negotiate for herself!

Lynn sat on the ground, a cold smile on her face. "Jeremy, don't be so heartless! If you hadn't publicly humiliated me at the wedding, causing the Smith Family to fall from grace, and married Olivia to insult me, I wouldn't have such deep resentment towards you."

"Since you refuse to give me anything, and now you know about Mia's true identity, I'm ready to die. No one wants to die quietly. Why not fight back before you get angry and go down with you?

Your beloved daughter, you haven't even had the chance to acknowledge her, and you might have to say goodbye forever!

Of course, she might have a chance to live, but that depends on you.

If you let go of everything I've done in the past, spare the Smith Family, guarantee that Mr. DeRoss won't destroy us, and give us a billion dollars after my parents and I are safe, then maybe Mia will appear alive.

Otherwise, if I become a corpse, she will too!"

After her harsh words, she didn't expect Jeremy to laugh nonchalantly.

Jeremy stared at the blade, then looked at her as if he had heard a great joke, his voice cold and low. "Let the Smith Family go and give you a billion dollars to escape? Lynn, are you out of your mind?"

Lynn stiffened. Was he mocking her for dreaming?

Even though she knew Jeremy was unlikely to agree, she said, "Think carefully. You only have one daughter. For three years, you didn't know her identity and couldn't acknowledge her. Can you afford to gamble?"

"Do you think I can't afford to gamble?" Jeremy walked over, raising the knife.

Lynn screamed as half of her long hair was cut off.

She immediately covered the right side of her face, terrified that her flesh had been cut.

Lynn's terrified expression was reflected in Jeremy's emotionless eyes. He threw the knife aside and grabbed her by the throat. "You have no room to negotiate. Tell me where she is!"

"…No." Lynn struggled on the muddy ground, her hands gripping Jeremy's tightening grip.

She felt like she couldn't breathe, but she knew this was a psychological battle. She couldn't break down now, or she would lose any chance of winning. "I won't tell you anything until you agree to my terms. And I remind you, Jeremy, if you hurt me, Mia will suffer the same. You can try!"

Jeremy laughed disdainfully. "Do you think I've been an heir for over a decade for nothing?

This kind of threat might work on amateurs.

Since you're so stubborn and think I'll compromise, I'll give you a taste of 'sweetness.'"

Jeremy finished speaking, and without much movement, Lynn's blood-curdling scream echoed, "My wrist, ah! My wrist…"

Her wrist, already damaged by Olivia, was now twisted like a broken chicken claw, bent grotesquely towards her arm.

Lynn screamed in horror at her broken wrist.

"This is clearly not enough. Aren't you going to talk?" Jeremy's cruel smile deepened. Thinking about how much Olivia had suffered at Lynn's hands over the past three years, and how many schemes Mia had endured, his chest ached, and his anger flared.

He didn't see Lynn as a woman. She didn't deserve it!

Jeremy grabbed her other wrist, playing with it lightly, ready to break it. In excruciating pain, Lynn, drenched in cold sweat, screamed, "No! Don't break this hand!"

"Where's Jake's antidote?" Jeremy asked coldly.
