Chapter 611 Trapped on the Island

Soon, a snow-white flowing wedding dress was brought over.

Lawrence gently helped her put it on, his eyes satisfied as the dress enveloped her delicate and graceful figure.

There were only the two of them in the room, exceptionally quiet.

The man's robust figure rose, his solitary silhouette making its way towards the French windows.

Beyond the windowpane, the endless blue sea, the bright sunlight illuminating the beach, and the palm leaves swaying in the wind were visible but separated by the glass.

It felt like a paradise, calming his restless emotions, as he turned back to look at her, gazing at her quietly and affectionately, as if she was his beloved wife, and no one could disrupt their happiness.

'Winnie, when you open your eyes, you will be mine.'

'My only wife, my only love...' Lawrence thought.

With a muffled groan, Winnie suddenly opened her eyes. Her neck was stiff, so she sat up and rubbed the back of her head.

Looking at the completely unfamiliar American-style room, she was stunned.

Spreading her fingers, she accidentally touched the soft wedding dress. Looking down, her face turned even paler.

She remembered she was wearing a toast dress!

But at this moment, she was in a wedding dress she had never seen before, the butterfly-like veil skirt adorned with scattered diamonds. Feeling a stiffness in her neck, she sat up and rubbed the back of her head.

'How did she end up here?'

'How did she change like this, even her clothes were different?'

Winnie vividly recalled the events that transpired after marrying Rock. During the toast, Lawrence crashed the wedding, sparking a serious altercation that nearly cost her life. He disarmed her and appeared to render her unconscious.

'He said he would take her to see Oscar...'

A jumble of confusing information flooded her mind.

Her pupils cleared. Seeing the darkening sky outside the window, her expression changed. She was about to get out of bed.

At that moment, footsteps approached, and a man's long, incredibly straight legs came into view.

He was wearing black trousers, his silhouette perfect. He has changed his shirt and put on a black vest.

Lawrence walked in with his hands in his pockets, his sharp, short hair combed back, revealing his deep temples. The Windsor knot highlighted his elegant, gentlemanly demeanor, his entire being dazzling.

This attire left Winnie gaping. Even she, in her confusion, knew it was unusual.

"Where is this? Where's Oscar?" Winnie exclaimed excitedly as she sat up.

"You just woke up. Have some truffles first." He picked the cup from the butler.

He placed it on the bedside European-style nightstand with a gentle look in his eyes.

Without hesitation, Winnie knocked over the cup of truffles, her beautiful eyes turning crimson as she struggled to climb out of bed. Overwhelmed by panic, she found it impossible to calm down, her mind consumed by thoughts of Rock and the turbulent wedding, tears flowing down her face.

"You madman... Lawrence, you madman! Where have you brought me? Where's Oscar? Didn't you say you wanted me to see him? Did you kidnap me, not to let me see him?" Winnie cried.

She looked around in confusion, but there was no trace of Oscar in the room!

'Is he lying to me? Where am I?'

She needed to figure it out.

Winnie didn't want to deal with him anymore. After wiping away her tears, she rushed out barefoot, trying to escape from him.

"Don't mess around, Winnie."

Anticipating her reaction upon waking up, Lawrence knew her temper, like an agitated cat.

His dark eyes remained indulgent as he watched her, and before she could take two steps, he grabbed her, restraining his strength and restless breath. His voice was calm. "Running around will get you hurt, darling. Put on your shoes now."

'What did he call her? Darling?' Winnie thought in disbelief.

Winnie was horrified, looking at his icy eyes, her heart chilled.

Was this man losing his mind? He seemed completely indifferent to her words, and his gentle gaze made her shudder.

"I won't wear them, and don't call me that!" Winnie desperately tried to break free from his grip, angrily kicking off the shoes.

Lawrence raised an eyebrow helplessly, seemingly finding everything she did adorable. He tightened his grip, but his tone remained gentle, "Darling, I'll say it again. If you don't wear them, I won't let you leave. If your feet get hurt, how are you going to be my bride?"

Winnie couldn't understand what he was saying. She was Rock's wife now!

He was truly out of his mind, his words and actions completely against the usual standards. It seemed like he was living in his own world entirely.

Her goosebumps were rising. How could someone go from causing such chaos at a wedding to being so gentle and obsessive towards her now?

He was acting too aggressively. Winnie didn't dare consider whether she had provoked him, causing his outburst. She simply wanted to get away.

‘Where the hell am I?'

Winnie pushed Lawrence away, put on her shoes, and immediately ran out of the bedroom, running aimlessly outside.

The sky was darkening, and the distant lighthouse illuminated it with a crimson sunset, turning the snowy sand on the beach into a faint golden hue.

He was behaving too aggressively. Winnie didn't dare ponder whether she had triggered him, leading to his outburst. She simply wanted to escape.

Along the way, Winnie encountered many servants, both male and female, with European and American faces.

They respectfully and cheerfully greeted her, "Madam, hello!"

Anxiety surged within her, and she suddenly realized that this place might be far from Lymington.

Gasping for breath, she quickened her pace even more.

Even after running for a long time, she couldn't find her way out of the estate. The castle was like a cage.

She had to cross vast, unfamiliar woods, gazing at the sea outside, under the despair of the night.

‘Where is this? Oh my god... Am I not in the country anymore?'

Realizing this, fear gripped her as she frantically searched her entire body but couldn't locate her phone. Unable to contact anyone, not Rock, not Olivia, not even her uncle.

Panic consumed her, rendering her motionless.

Footsteps drew nearer from behind.

Terrified, Winnie turned around, Lawrence walking steadily along the beach, his features elegant, unhurried.

The unparalleled handsomeness of a man shone on his cold face, his deep black eyes gazing at her like a king, focused and icy, like a wild beast lurking in the depths of the night, concealing his control and madness.

Just watching Lawrence, elegant and gentlemanly, toying with Winnie like a clown.

Winnie was losing her mind, the anger in her chest exploding. She ran over, pounding his arms frantically. "Lawrence, where have you brought me?

"I haven't found Oscar either. Are you lying to me?
If you're feeling unwell, handle it on your own. Why did you abduct me during my wedding? Do you realize that I'm already married to Rock? We are legally wed. You have taken another person's spouse and bound me here; that is against the law! I can have you reported to the police!"
