Chapter 865 Oscar Reveals the Secret

Oscar said, "If Sidney is happy, then I'm happy! Besides, Great-Grandma and Grandpa have been genuinely kind to us. I've noticed over the past few days that they aren't just trying to win custody by being nice to us."

Winnie nodded; she had noticed it too. "From now on, you can come here whenever you want. I also support you spending more time with Great-Grandma since she's getting older."

Oscar nodded and changed the subject, frowning, "Mommy, is Rock completely done for?"

"He's made a fool of himself online, and his reputation is completely ruined. Lawrence said he would make Rock's company go bankrupt quickly because Rock is now facing both loan and breach of contract crises. He won't be able to stay in Trento City anymore."

"That's good! Under pressure, he won't dare not to sign the divorce papers. If it goes to court, it will be even worse for him." Oscar squinted his eyes and sighed, "Our good days are finally coming, right?"

Even though it was a happy statement, Winnie couldn't help but feel that Oscar was troubled.

"Oscar, what's wrong? Do you have something on your mind?" Winnie was still sensitive to Oscar's feelings.

Oscar immediately gripped his computer tightly, his eyes darkening, but he smiled and shook his head, "Nothing, the big trouble is almost solved. Mommy, it seems like Great-Grandma is calling us for dinner!"

Winnie turned around to see Leah sitting in a wheelchair, smiling and waving.

Their conversation was interrupted, and Winnie, exhausted from playing soccer, stood up from the lawn, panting, with one hand holding her high heels and the other holding Oscar's hand.

Winnie's bare feet stepped on the soft green lawn.

Lawrence stood by the window, watching her cute and sexy toes in the sunlight from a distance.

His Adam's apple bobbed, and he felt a bit hot, so he raised his hand to loosen his tie.

"Dinner's ready! Grandpa made delicious pizza and fried chicken today." Lawrence glanced at Oscar.

Sidney cheered, "Oscar, it's all your favorite! I think Grandpa and Daddy are trying to please you more."

"Come on, they treat us all the same." Oscar rarely blushed and lowered his head.

Winnie felt relaxed watching her sons play around. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Lawrence, with his perfect proportions and calm demeanor, also quietly watching her. Her heart skipped a beat, and she couldn't help but feel her pulse quicken.

She quickly looked away.

Lawrence smirked with interest but said nothing. When she walked over, he naturally took her high heels from her hand, "I'll wash these for you!"

"You..."

Before she could protest, Lawrence took her high heels and strode into the bathroom.

Oscar silently watched the interaction between Lawrence and Winnie. Looking at the harmonious scene in the house, where the Rodriguez Family elders were wholeheartedly caring for him and Sidney, he thought that even though Lawrence and Winnie hadn't reconciled yet, the family atmosphere was unconsciously emerging.

If Lawrence won Winnie back in the future, and the four of them lived together with the elders, it would be this warm and happy, with laughter and joy.

Oscar took a deep breath. Once Lawrence dealt with Rock, everything would soon be settled!

Without Rock as a backer, Ishara would be powerless.

For the past half month, he hadn't found a chance to talk to Lawrence about Ishara.

Lawrence was too busy, and this matter was very important, so Oscar hadn't found the right opportunity.

However, he had been keeping an eye on Ishara's whereabouts and knew that Rock had locked her up since yesterday.

Oscar knew where she was hiding!

Now, he had to tell Lawrence that secret. Ishara's pregnancy was like a bomb that could shock everyone, but Oscar wanted to protect his sibling and have Lawrence deal with Ishara!

After a harmonious dinner.

Unaware of anything, Sidney suggested setting off fireworks and happily dragged Winnie to find the fireworks tubes Amy had bought.

Naturally, Lawrence wanted to follow and talk to Winnie more.

But a small figure blocked his way.

Lawrence looked down to see Oscar holding his small computer, his expression unusually cold.

Lawrence immediately squatted down and patted Oscar's shoulder, "Oscar, what's wrong? Do you need to talk to me about something?"

"I need to talk to you about something important," Oscar replied.

Lawrence's eyes narrowed.

Oscar led the way upstairs, "Daddy, come to the study."

He called him Daddy?

Lawrence felt a bit emotional, his eyes darkening. He sensed something unusual about Oscar.

He turned around, picked up Oscar, and quickly went to the study. Lawrence remotely closed the door, placed Oscar on the sofa, and sat down, clasping his hands together, "What do you need to tell me?"

Oscar's eyelashes fluttered heavily. He opened his computer, "Lawrence, what I have to say is serious and difficult. I hope you're prepared."

Lawrence stared at Oscar, his thin lips pressed together, "Go ahead."

He was afraid Oscar was in some kind of trouble.

Oscar was silent for a moment, then took a deep breath, "Do you remember a few months ago when you took Ishara to the hospital for an abortion late at night, and I stopped you? I helped her escape, and you were disappointed and asked me why?"

Lawrence's heart instantly felt suspended.

His mind froze, thoughts returning to that night.

Oscar had been acting so strangely that he couldn't figure it out. Later, he talked to Ray and Bryan about Oscar's behavior.

That night, he had a bizarre suspicion and even had Ray investigate Oscar and Leo!

Ray did investigate, but Oscar was too smart. After that, he stopped following Ishara, and nothing could be found from Leo.

Then, with the Rock incident, Ray went undercover in the Peterson Family, and the matter was put on hold.

Now that Oscar brought it up again, Lawrence's expression darkened inch by inch.

He stared sharply at Oscar, "Are you talking about Ishara?"

Oscar met Lawrence's gaze and saw his eyes turn cold and tense. He nodded his little head and pulled up the information he had on his computer.

Summoning great courage, Oscar closed his eyes tightly and said, "You might have guessed some clues, but you wouldn't believe it. Otherwise, you wouldn't have stopped investigating me back then."

"But Lawrence, I have to tell you, there's something strange about the child in Ishara's belly. It... it wasn't conceived naturally by Ishara. But it is indeed your biological child."

"What?" Lawrence's face turned pale, and his mind quickly flashed to the possibility of artificial insemination.

But he was sure Ishara never got his sperm! And if it was just his child, how could Oscar, who hated him so much back then, protect that fetus?

Then... it could only be...

Lawrence looked up at Oscar in disbelief.
