Chapter 63 Accompany me to the hot spring
The masked face was so angry that he could hardly catch his breath.
All of a sudden, she seemed to be awakened, and now she was like a shrew, uttering words and satirizing him everywhere.
Doesn't this prove that you care a lot?
No, she should be calm. She said to keep her distance. Why should she be so angry?
She tried to restrain her anger, pretending to be calm with a cold face, and said with a smile, "how could I be angry? It's a fake marriage. I would applaud even if you took your lover to open a room now!"
The man's warmth cooled instantly, staring at her stubborn little face, "Are you serious?"
"Yes." Winnie chuckles.
"Then don't regret it!"
Darcy smiled and came over at the right time, "Mr. L?"
"Darcy, accompany me to the hot spring!"
The man held Darcy coldly and left.
Darcy shy soft language, "Mr. L."
“All right, I promise you, don't worry.”
Winnie lowered her head, feeling suffocated as she listened to their playful banter. Suddenly, the barbecue grill and skewers in front of her were taken away by the waiter.
"..." Her face turned pale with anger as she watched the two of them walk away, their ambiguous smiles lingering.
Darcy turned around and glanced at Winnie, pretending to be concerned, "Is Mrs. L alright?"
L swept a glance at the petite woman and coldly curled his lips, "Words can hurt, but they're not stimulating enough."
Darcy half-jokingly replied, "Then we'll have to try harder."
Olivia's call came through, and Winnie answered the phone in a daze, "Hello?"
"Olivia, Lawrence R showed up. He's wearing that CEO suit with the most distinctive style. He walked into the office, but I haven't seen his face yet." Olivia was excited, holding a broom as she disguised herself as a cleaner.
"Oh." Winnie replied lifelessly.
"He's coming out! Great, he's going to the bathroom. I'll go check his face."
"Oh." Winnie mechanically walked into the spa lobby. She stared fixedly at the sign that read "Co-ed Bathing."
Olivia hung up the phone and sneaked into the men's restroom, broom in hand. Nobody was inside. Olivia's beautiful face looked around, and suddenly, there was a tall figure beside her.
The man's silhouette was refined and lean, wearing Lawrence R's usual formal suit that fitted him perfectly. His long, slender legs were impeccably neat. Olivia's gaze traveled upwards... then she let out a sharp scream and immediately covered her eyes!
"You... you, you..."
The man seemed surprised and turned around.
"Don't! What are you doing? Turn around! Imperial Jewelry's CEO!" Olivia's eyes sparkled, her face flushed and blood rushing.
In her mind, she kept asking herself, why... why was this not Jason? And why, why wasn't it Jason for the first time in 22 years...?
"Who are you?" the CEO asked coldly, approaching her.
"I... I..."
"What did you see?" the man demanded, getting closer.
Olivia's face burned as she panicked, retreating repeatedly. "Don't come near me, Imperial Jewelry's CEO!"
Like a gust of wind, Olivia fled.
The restroom was left in complete silence, filled with an icy chill.
Jeremy raised an eyebrow as he watched her fleeing figure. Pulling up his pants, the mischievousness behind his glasses slowly emerged, and his face turned cold.
He turned off Mr. L's recording in his pocket.
Both men, with their perfectly fitted trousers, had a similar body shape at 187cm and 188cm respectively, making it hard to tell them apart.
Olivia had to use three bottles of cold water to wash away the heat on her face.
She bit her finger and messaged Winnie.
The man in the trousers asked loudly, "Have you paid attention when washing the trousers at Mr. L's house? What size does he wear? Help me buy a box and deliver it to our suite later..."
Winnie couldn't bear it anymore. Darcy wanted her to buy condoms.
Winnie sensed her provocation and smiled lightly, "It seems like you're not familiar with Mr. L either, yet you're prying into my maid duties regarding private matters."
Darcy's contemptuous gaze froze for a moment.
She continued to smile and said, "I'll find out after tonight. Now, let the maid do her job!"
Winnie went to buy a few boxes like a zombie.
A man was sitting in the restaurant, having a meal with his boss and two subordinates.
Winnie stormed in, threw the boxes she held onto the man's table, and clashed with his dark eyes. She sarcastically sneered, "These were ordered by your lover. I had no idea what to buy, so I got the worst option. It should suit you well, shouldn't it?"
She smirked and looked at the stunned boss and assistant beside him, speaking loudly!
The man's deep and dangerous gaze narrowed.
Winnie ran out on her own, went upstairs, and locked herself in her room. She quickly felt tears welling up in her eyes.
She must have been driven crazy by him. Winnie buried her head in her knees, feeling wronged as she squatted on the floor.
