Chapter 15 Fake miscarriage II
Ava endured the humiliation and said anxiously, “Winnie, I’m sorry that I took credit for your work yesterday. You’re highly talented, and I don’t want to compete with you anymore. We’re all family. Let’s find Wenger and make peace. I heard that Wenger will be here for a meeting later. As long as you can persuade him to place a huge order with me. I… I want to impress Daniel. After listening to Ava’s tempting words, Winnie narrowed her eyes and a cold smile appeared on her face. Yesterday, Ava had gone to great lengths to drive her out of the company. Winnie was stunned. After all, she did not push Ava. However, when she saw the large amount of blood under Ava, she quickly crouched down to examine Ava.
Ava suddenly grabbed Winnie’s hand and refused to let go. At the same time, she shouted to someone behind Winnie, “Daniel, save me!”
Lily, who was with Daniel, exclaimed, “Oh, my gosh! Ava!”

At this time, many people were watching the commotion.
Daniel forcefully pushed Winnie away and held Ava in his arms. Then, he looked at Winnie icily and asked, “What did you do?”
Ava cried miserably as she leaned against Daniel, looking extremely sad. “Daniel, I only wanted Winnie to help me speak to the president of HN. I… I couldn’t help but share the news of our baby with her… I didn’t expect her to be so ruthless. It hurts so much! Is our baby gone?”
“Don’t cry,” Daniel said as he stroked Ava’s face gently. However, his face paled when he looked down and saw the blood under on the ground.
At this time, the onlookers glared at Winnie angrily and cursed at her.
"How can this woman be so evil? She actually harmed an unborn child!"
"She's a murderer!"
Amidst the accusations, Daniel looked at Winnie fiercely. He rushed toward her and grabbed her neck. “You bitch, you’re really vicious! You dare to kill my child? I’m going to kill you!”
Winnie pushed Daniel away. Although her expression was calm, her heart was bleeding from his words. Seeing how angry he was and how much he valued the child, there was no doubt that he truly liked Ava. She glanced at Ava’s tall high heels before she suddenly let out a low laugh.
"Why are you laughing at?" Daniel asked as he looked at Winnie murderously. Then, he turned to the side and said, “Lily, call the police! She should be arrested for causing Ava to have a miscarriage!"
Winnie remained unfazed. She touched her chest, thinking about what had happened. Then, she asked provocatively, “Ava, are you absolutely certain that I pushed you?”
"If you didn’t push me, how could I have fallen? Winnie, you’re so vicious. I’ve been making concessions, but you won’t even spare my innocent child!” Ava said as she cried.
Upon hearing this, Daniel’s eyes reddened. He held her tenderly and said, “Stop wasting words with her. Someone, catch her!”
Lily left immediately to look for the security guards while the onlookers continued to point at and scold Winnie.
Winnie remained calm. She brought her phone out with a cold smile on her face, saying, “Why don’t have a good look at how your precious Ava fell?”
Winnie was glad that Olivia had told her to wait so she did not remove the hidden camera.
Daniel was puzzled, but he lowered his head to watch the footage on Winnie’s phone. As time passed, his expression stiffened.
In the footage, Ava was clearly trying to grab Winnie, but Winnie managed to dodge. She did not push Ava.
When Ava saw the footage, her face paled. She did not understand why Winnie would have a hidden camera on her.
Winnie smiled as she looked at the blood on the ground. Then, she crouched down and firmly held Ava down before she reached under Ava’s skirt and brought a bag out.
Everyone was shocked when they saw the bag.
Winnie shook the bag in front of Daniel and laughed coldly. “Have a good look. What child are you talking about? This is a bag of blood.”
Daniel looked at the bag of blood in disbelief. Then, when he turned and saw the guilty expression on Ava’s pale face, his expression darkened.
Winnie smirked when she saw Ava panicking. She said, “Are you addicted to this bag of blood? Is the leftover from that time you framed me in front of the Andersons? You’re quite thrifty.”
Ava was furious, but she could not utter a word.
Looking at Daniel’s frozen expression, she found him pitiful and ridiculous. She said mockingly, “Have you ever seen a pregnant woman wearing such tall high heels? If you ask me, I don’t think she was pregnant at all. Did she miscarry, or was she never pregnant in the first place? Do you already know about this? After all, framing me benefits you as well. In any case, even if she’s really pregnant, the child might not be yours.”
Daniel’s expression was very ugly when he heard the meaning behind Winnie’s words.
Ava, who did not expect Winnie to retaliate, trembled in anger. She quickly looked at Daniel and cried weakly.
"Daniel, what does she mean by this? I’m innocent. I’ve only ever been with you. How can she slander me in public like this? I don’t want to live anymore!”
Daniel could not bear to see Ava cry, and his heart softened again. However, his expression hardened as he turned to look at Winnie and said, “Winnie, that’s enough! Ava is innocent. Don’t slander her just because you’re filthy. You’re the one carrying a bastard child!”
Winnie looked at Daniel coldly before she pulled up the photo on her phone and held it up high. Then, she said, “Ava, you can deny it all you want. Daniel, you better be careful the next time someone tells you that you’re going to become a father again."
Daniel stumbled back as he looked at the photo of Ava and a man hugging in what seemed to be a hotel room. A gloomy expression appeared on his handsome face as he turned to look at Ava.
At this time, Ava was already trembling in fear. She could not hide the guilt on her face as she shook her head.
“Daniel…”
"How do you explain this?"
Daniel’s face twisted into an expression of anger. His anger and humiliation only grew when he heard the onlookers’ words and saw them pointing at him.
“Oh, I didn’t expect her to be like that. To think that we sympathized with earlier. As it turns out, she was framing an innocent person. Hey, wasn’t she using us as her pawns?”
"That man is an idiot. He actually believed in his girlfriend’s fake pregnancy when his girlfriend was hooking up with another man."
“She’s really evil. She actually faked a miscarriage and blamed it on that woman!”
Winnie only sneered before she walked away.
Daniel’s dark gaze followed Winnie’s figure as she left, thinking that she looked rather lonely. His eyes flashed briefly before he quickly suppressed his anger and chased after her.
When Daniel caught up to Winnie at the entrance of the hotel, he grabbed her wrist tightly.
Winnie turned around and asked coldly, “What else do you want?”
Daniel softened his voice as he asked, “Winnie, are you still angry at me?”
Then he looked at Winnie with an understanding expression before he continued to say, “You’ve been making a fuss recently, constantly looking for trouble with Ava… Is it because you still hope to be with me?”
He studied Winnie’s face quietly. He had to admit that she was really beautiful. If it were not for the fact that she held a position of power, he would not have treated her like that in the first place.
‘Ava’s pregnancy is fake… and Winnie’s capable of securing big deals… Maybe…’
A hint of cunning flashed in Daniel’s eyes as he attempted to pull Winnie into his arms. He said in a low voice, “Since you still love me, I’ll give you a chance. I won’t care about the fact that you’re carrying someone else’s child as long as you listen to me and help me secure more deals in the future…”
