Chapter 717 She Can Save Him
"You crazy chick, you actually barged into Alvin's room! What the heck are you... what are you doing?"
Loren stormed in and saw two barely dressed young folks. His face went beet red with rage as he hollered at Olivia.
Olivia was totally stunned.
Alvin frowned and yanked her behind him.
Loren rushed over, trying to grab Olivia. "You bitch, what did you do to Alvin?"
"What... what did I do? Can't you see?" Olivia ducked behind Alvin, her face pressed against his solid waist, also fuming. "And it's not what I did to Alvin, you should ask what he did to me!"
"Alvin!" Loren looked at Alvin, totally shocked.
Alvin frowned, his eyes darting to the bed, looking kinda puzzled. "Probably just that."
"What do you mean 'just that'?" Loren was even more confused.
Olivia looked up, too, "What do you mean 'just that'? It definitely was that, come on!"
Loren whipped his head around, "You bitch, seducing Alvin and not even caring if people find out about your dirty deeds?"
Olivia's face darkened. "How many times do I have to say it, it wasn't me. It was your Alvin who had an episode! When I ran into the room last night, he was already acting weird. He refused to take his injection, pulled out the needle, and I'm just trying to get him to run."
Olivia almost slipped up and quickly changed her words, "No, I'm just trying to figure out what kind of poison he's been hit with."
Loren snarled, "You just said you were trying to get him to run, do you think I didn't catch that? You escaped from the cell with great effort to find out about his poisoning? Do you need to find out in bed? I think you want to lure Alvin into bed and then kill him to shut him up. So you could go back and report to Lawrence, right?"
"You should be a screenwriter, what a waste of talent." Olivia was so mad she felt sick, speechless and powerless to explain, "Sorry, I don't have that kind of skill, I can't kill anyone! You should be able to see that I don't have the strength to kill him."
"If you really don't believe me, get a doctor in here to check him out now, and you'll know." Olivia snapped.
Alvin stayed silent.
But his upper body, shirtless, was covered in scratch marks.
Loren shot another angry glance at Olivia, worried about Alvin, and yelled towards the door, "Where's the doctor? Get in here and check on Alvin!"
Two doctors rushed in.
The carpet was littered with women's and men's clothes.
They tiptoed, blushing, to Alvin's side. One did an external check, the other an internal one.
After the examination, they reported separately.
One of the doctors piped up, "Mr. Loren DeRoss, Mr. Alvin DeRoss's scratch marks were made by a woman's nails, and his body indeed went through intense activity. So, it can be concluded that he had an inappropriate encounter with this woman."
Olivia's face turned bright red. Did they really have to check so thoroughly? She felt like crawling into a hole.
She sneaked a glance at Alvin. How could he be so calm and aloof?
Another doctor sighed, "It's a miracle."
"What miracle?" Loren was stunned.
The doctor explained, "Mr. Loren DeRoss, Mr. Alvin DeRoss's episode last night should have been severe. He still has blood clots in his throat, but strangely, his brain waves are normal."
He paused for a second and added, "Every time he has an episode before, we gotta block his mouth to keep him from biting his tongue during a high fever. But from last night's situation, he managed to get through it. And a lot of the heat poison in his blood has been expelled. His body temperature is now close to normal. His emotions and heart rate are also pretty stable.".
Loren , alight with joy, asked, "Are you saying he managed to get through it on his own last night?"
The doctor shook his head, then turned his sharp gaze to Olivia, pointing at her. "It should be because of this girl. In other words, it was because of sex."
"What?" Olivia blurted out. This couldn't be so ridiculous. Did her body have the power to cure Jeremy?
She quickly glanced at Alvin, who was also frowning at her, and her whole neck turned red.
"Don't say such nonsense. How can indulging in desires cure an illness?" Loren glared at Olivia, full of disdain.
"Ahem. Mr. Loren DeRoss, please don't be hasty. Actually, I find it strange, too."
"So, miss, can you let me see your hand?" the doctor asked.
Olivia hesitated but held out her hand.
The doctor examined it. "Mr. Loren DeRoss, this girl's body temperature is low, and her blood is cool. It's possible she could alleviate Mr. Alvin DeRoss's heat poison."
"Their sex must have consumed Mr. Alvin DeRoss's energy. Through sweating and arousal, a lot of heat poison could be expelled. I guess that's what happened," the doctor explained serisouly.
Jeremy coughed lightly, "That's enough!"
Olivia bit her lip in embarrassment, lowering her head in shame. Did she hear the word 'arousal'?
Could it be that he subconsciously liked her a little?
She couldn't help but feel her heart race, with her thoughts running wild.
Olivia covered her chest with her hands, finally gathering her thoughts, and looked shyly at Loren. "Loren, do you understand now? He really had an episode, and it was severe! I saved your nephew, even though I was forced."
"Are you forced?" Alvin raised his eyes darkly, a wicked glint in his eyes.
Olivia's face turned red instantly, and she retorted, "Am I wrong? Don't think you can say you don't remember what happened last night."
"Clearly, I remember you enjoying it, too, later," Alvin coldly stated the fact.
"I-I didn't. Jeremy, you're a devil! I was bullied by you and now you're mocking me!" Olivia glared at him in frustration, feeling both wronged and humiliated. How could she possibly enjoy it?
Ever since Sam assaulted her three years ago, she had been terrified of men for three years.
Although she did end up helping him last night, he couldn't deny that he came onto her.
