‘She’s really oblivious. Does she have no idea what she’s doing to me?’ L thought to himself as he looked at Winnie who was looking at him innocently. He quickly rose to his feet and got himself a cold glass of water.
At this moment, Mrs. Rodriguez said teasingly, “My goodness, why do I feel like the temperature has risen? Grace, is the air conditioner on?”
Grace chuckled. “Yes, Madam.”
"Stop it, Mom,” L said before he quickly made his way upstairs.
Mrs. Rodriguez pouted before she turned her attention to Winnie, who was still eating. A hint of mischief could be seen in her eyes as she unlocked her iPad. Then, she smiled and said, “Winnie, let me tell you something! This afternoon, I wanted to buy you some clothes. I showed him the clothes I chose, and guess what happened? He completely ignored all the clothes I chose before personally choosing them. Have a look.”
After listening to Mrs. Rodriguez, Winnie’s focus was on the fact that Mrs. Rodriguez knew how to shop online!
Mrs. Rodriguez pointed at the screen and said, “I had no idea this is the type of style that little brat likes!"
